Ok. I was visiting the Comcast Technology Center and I got tired. Sitting at the lobby looking a foot massage place. For some reason, I didn't read where it was. I was about 2 blocks away to find out "foot massager" at Target on Chestnut Street. I was like, grrrr!!!!! Fine. I'll go get something to drink or get a banana to snack on. The signs have departments listed but they don't exist. I can't find men's department. Ok some shirts from last football season by cashier waiting line doesn't count. The self-serve area was creepy. Start of the line is right next to the first machine. Another customer was constantly looking at me. Fine. I'll move out of your line of sight. I know it's a downtown store with limited store footprint. I can only treated like a Target-branded convenience store.

We stopped in for baby clothes but they didn't have any. This is a small target and they only carry your basics. I found it strange that they only had a woman's section. Not sure what that's about. Unfortunately we couldn't find what we needed but we were able to get Gerber formula, pampers and wipes for our little one. I stopped an employee and asked her where we could get baby clothes nearby. She directed us to Primart. She was so sweet and thorough. Thanks again girl!

I was expecting to walk into a full fledged Target, but what I stumbled into was something about the size of a CVS/Walgreen with a 2nd floor. This had things that Target has, but it's by no means what I know as a Target. There's a clothing section that's smaller than most clearance sections at a "real" Target. There's a small grocery section which is good for food items. Upstairs, there are housewares and toys and cards. As far as Targets go, this doesn't measure up. Maybe they need to call it Target Light, Target Necessities, Tiny Target, Target Bulls-eye or something to convey it's a smaller version. I've been in other downtown Targets with 2 floors and they didn't disappoint like this one. Maybe they should think like Walmart and Walmart Neighborhood Market. At least you know what you're getting with each.

This is a smaller Target in the Center City/Rittenhouse Square area. Still larger than most stores. Low prices. Convenient. Plenty of self-checkout machines. There's usually a line. It tends to move quickly enough though. The self-checkout machines do have some problems. It took a few attempts to get one of them to scan an item. Another machine scanned an item twice.

This target is small and in the morning there are always boxed merchandises in the aisles. The reason I am writing this review is because i found Tastykake pecan rolls that were out of Best before date. On March 6, i found items dated end of February. I advise to read the date before buying.

I am the type of person who loves shopping at Target and getting blissfully lost in all the mesmerizing displays of things I don't need. Well, luckily for me, I had no such trouble at this Target since this shop was extremely small and understocked. It looked like it was set in a post apocalyptic world -- empty shelves, disorganized items, clothes with only the largest and smallest sizes remaining... I couldn't find any rosemary or Italian seasoning in the spices area. And they were out of eggs. I understand the store size constraint, but at least then make the most of your space and fill up those empty shelves. They should get rid of the Starbucks shop in there and use the space for more items. Plus there's already a Starbucks right across the street.

I personally grocery shop here because it's one of the cheaper options relative to Trader Joe's and Rittenhouse Market.

We were…read moresearching for a custom wooden dining table base for our stone tabletop (purchased elsewhere), and Paul and the Philadelphia Table Company were simply a pleasure to work with. We had a very specific idea of a design we wanted, and they executed! We showed them a photograph of a base found at a big-box store, and Paul and the team recreated it for us. I'll be honest - I ask a LOT of questions, and struggle with not controlling every aspect of the process. Every email and DM that I sent over (which, were multiple, I assure you) were promptly and thoroughly answered, with the upmost professionalism and enthusiasm. For stain colors, I was having trouble visualizing the stains in our space, and the team mailed over physical samples for us to look at. They continued to update us during the build process, showed us mock-up photos, and even worked with us to change the design slightly, at my request. The obvious best/most important factor is that the table base was everything we hoped for. The piece is stunning, sturdy, and perfect - it's very clear the team takes pride in their craft. Delivery was a breeze, and was super fast and efficient. My only regret is that we don't have a need for anymore furniture right now! Would absolutely recommend Philadelphia Table Company to anyone looking for beautiful furniture, made to last! *Note: We never stepped foot in their show room, nor met with Paul or his team in person, due to Covid19. Despite that, I felt extremely taken care of, and valued as a customer throughout the process.

The older couple who own this store are quiet and friendly but give you the time to browse around without hovering. They were open to answering any questions I might have had also. I contemplated if I had a space for some things in my house if any. Lots caught my eye, and I could appreciate the character throughout the store. I zoned in on this dainty, cool glass wall planter and decided to pick it up comparing it to another- both similar the same shape but different painted designs. I imagined the wall space for it and decided it would be perfect for a rooting Pothos plant! It was small enough to carry on the plane also. If I fancied anything else, I would have found a way to get it back to California. I l later discovered it's a blown glass piece by Jason Probstein. I'm delighted to discover there are galleries with his artwork here in California also! If you're wandering around the Old City area of Philadelphia, this is a gem of a store to browse. You might find something you like! There's so much character in here!
