Management is a joke . They have a holiday price match guarantee . I purchased something on Nov 10 . The price match window per their website is Nov 7-Dec 24 . They have it posted in the store . I came in for a price match item that is now half off . Managers Michael and Diego said no they couldn't do it . They advised me to repurchase the item and return the original one . It showed online they had the item in stock . Apparently it was off site and I would have to ask the same people who were saying no to order it' for me for pick up at a later date . I went back a second time to customer service and that's when Diego found it funny and was laughing as he reiterated no they wouldn't do it . read more

Stay away from this location at all costs. The employees are very rude and condescending. I was told that because I was Chinese, I'd have to wait until 2 other people were helped, even though we had been waiting for service for 15 minutes. When we asked the store manager on duty his response was "so? How do you know they were talking to you?" What??? Anyways, this has been addressed with their corporate office and I hope right before Xmas, they are all fired! But seriously stay away from this location. Not only did this happen to us but multiple times, employees talk smack about customers, and not to their faces but as they walk away. The employee name I am reporting: Glory (Cashier). Topic: Disparate treatment, discrimination, colorism, and possibly racism and intention to begin segregation in an already marginalized and poor community just because this woman cashier is white skinned. I'm Reporting the Cashier who was scheduled in aisle number 4. The Cashier is named Glory. Date June 21/Around 2:45 PM. I went to aisle 4 and saw Cashier Glory assisting one customer. She was scanning the tags of some clothes for some person. In that moment there was nobody else around in the cashier area. I walked up to Glory and asked her if she was opened or closed. Glory responded by saying she was closed. So I walked away and walked to the self check out area. Mind you- the line to the self check out was very long and it was so long that I was next to aisle 4. I stood there. And then- since I was so close to cashier Glory and and her cashier aisle 4- I overheard a male walking up to Glory's aisle asking her if she is still open and that he just has a few stuff. The female cashier Glory said "Okay yeah." Like "I only had 3 items."???? I felt so disrespected because she told me she was closed but she took his items to check out. I asked her why she was assisting the male customer when I was told by her that she was closed. The cashier Glory told me that he was a customer who has been waiting in Line. Like she literally lied to my face about this. Glory then kept on scanning his items. I told Glory that isn't true and that I was there before him and nobody was around when I asked her if she was still open. The cashier Glory then began to make me repeat myself like as if she didn't understand, or like she was deaf, or like she just needs a literacy test? She was hearing me before. But perhaps she was bullying me now. Then a line formed in that aisle and she did not once tell them she was closed. I went to speak to another cashier. I went to speak to another target employee. I reported to two individuals about her. One of the target employees I reported Glory about told me that she doesn't speak well in English as it's not her first language. I told the lady that if it's Spanish I'm also very fluent in Spanish she could've said that and I could've fluently spoken to her in Spanish. The target employee tried to help and I don't know what lies Glory told her. But Glory is racist. Just because I don't look Hispanic doesn't mean I'm not. I felt so mad because it seemed like Glory only helped the male customer because she had the hots for him- like okay, you like a guy that's cool but it's a job. I'm a woman- just like her?? Why give better treatment to a man and tell him she will help him? But tell me- she is closed? She is white skinned and her influence should be not woman for woman hate but woman for woman support especially in these heavy political times. She was dismissive and rude. Ironically, the same man that Glory exclusively assisted followed me to my car and walked around it like as if he was taunting me and he was smiling. I took a video recording of this man passing by my car. Why would this guy that cashier Glory assisted followed me to my car and walked around my vehicle??? Can you get Glory off of the cashier role?? She is encouraging possible violence of men/ this man felt bold and encouraged enough to follow me to my car. I added images. Based on the filthy bathroom and loud Spanish music, I give it a 2. Yes, they have all the stuff that any other Target would have but the music was so loud that I just wanted to get the heck out of there. I guess they cater to Spanish communities at this location because it was nonstop Spanish music but it was just so loud that it made for an annoying shopping experience. I had much more to buy but I didn't feel like I could enjoy being there another minute. I got 3 Baby items and checked out. I wouldn't recommend coming to this location because it's not a safe neighborhood. If I knew they had high demand items in stock such as Oled Switches, PS5's or anything like that in stock it wouldnt be safe to walk to your car with those items in hand. I although just went there to do some browsing since there was a lot of traffic on the freeway so I got off and came here from the freeway. Plenty of parking but I'd advise you to be careful of your surroundings. No one approached me inside or outside but be mindful. read more

The fat over weight male Hispanic manager by the name of Ruben in which he claims to be the store manager screamed at my daughter after complaining about a rude cashier assisting us to pay a pricing issue with a product that was supposedly marked/ placed on a shelf with the incorrect pricing. When my 22 year old daughter requested to get the pricing honored and RUBEN the fat manager redirected us to call corporate and than he looked at me and stated he had been a store manager longer than my existence. We decided to go to this Target location because per their Cartwheel Target app this book Wish is available and they have 5 of them. The children's book section at this Target location is small but well stocked and very clean. In store the price of the book is $7.99 but online it's $4.41. We did the self check out and the female sales associate was very attentive and courteous. We noticed she would wipe down every scanner and counter right after each customer used them. When it was our turn the book rang for $7.99 and she corrected it and priced matched it to $4.41 when I showed her the Cartwheel Target app. Sadly we didn't get her name. Right after our transaction she even thanked us for shopping at Target and wished us a great day. I'm surprised to see this location only have a 2-star rating. It really isn't bad at all, especially since they've remodeled this location. Let's start with parking. Before COVID, it seemed like no matter what time of day, parking was always packed. Luckily, parking spaces are decent size and not small and compact. The Target team members here are nice. I haven't run into a jerk in a long time and this is the main Target I go to. My favorites, when I come across them there are Ashlyn and Cash! Cash has the best attitude every single time I come across him! So special shout out to him! Since Covid-19, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, tissues, certain vitamins, cleaning products, and other products have been scarce, but I recently went here and safe to say, most items are back. Most of the time, this location has many things in stock, which is why I like going here. Location is clean, but restrooms can be questionable at times. I haven't been in any public restroom since COVID-19, but I'm hoping they keep their restrooms clean for any patrons needing to use them. Will I come here again? Yes, it's my go to Target. read more

This is in the top 2 of the worst Target I been to. The moment you park at this Target, something already feels off. The area that this Target is located in is not a good area. My girlfriend needed some celery for her juicing and since this Target is near me, she wanted to go to this location. I never go to this Target location due to the area but it was last resort. There were a lot of car just parked in front of the entrance for some reason. We came around 8pm and there was barely any parking spots open. The ones that were was near the street of Laurel Canyon which has tacos stand and trucks all set up over there so be ready to smell some smoke on your car if you park there. When you walk inside, it's somewhat clean but not as clean as the Northridge or Woodland Hills location. The reason I give a 2 star is because instead of paying at the cashier or self checkout area, there was someone set up near the clothing area that you can pay at if you're using credit card or debit card. That saves us time because their was long lines when we only had like 6 items. read more

Great location, being from the area I always run into someone I know. Stopped by tonight and it looks like they're in the process of remodeling. Most likely preparing for the holidays. I've been coming to this location for as far back as I can remember. We arrived and made our way to the Guest Service station to make a payment, no line which is always a plus, sucks when you're behind someone making a return without a receipt. Luckily we breezed through the process and made our way to the cosmetics section. What was the last few isles by the pharmacy is now located in what was the girls section. We got what we needed and made our way to the register. It was a short 3 minute wait and we checked out. Wonderful overall experience. Customer service is what it is, like I mentioned before I'm from the area so it makes me laugh when people are acting "hood" and you get quite a bit of that here. Not that Target cares or sees these reviews but this is THE worst Target I have ever been to in my life. It's always filthy but that's not why it's the worst. They have the rudest, the most disrespectful, and the most unhelpful employees I have ever dealt with. Every time i go here it's been bad. This last time I took an UNOPENED sheet set that I had purchased but changed my mind on the color and wanted to return. Again, unopened and I have the receipt!!!! The manager tells me their return policy is only 30 days and that he can't give me store credit because its "housewares". No matter what I said or did he would not accept the return. Since I am not the majority that lives here I was targeted for not speaking spanish. Mostly all workers only spoke spanish when I asked for help with someone that could speak english management told me the majority that live here are allowed to speak there native language. I am hard of hearing and began to speak my native language sign language. Ironically the manager told me I had to speak so she could understand me. When I refused I was followed around the store and security was called on me. I will not go in to this target ever again since I can be discriminated against so horribly. I love this target. Most targets are really nice; but I love that they don't shut the community out. While some targets are all about profit, this one is perfect. I like seeing kids fundraise, as this is a safe area. I love the different variety of food venders near it, while I still spend too much when I go, I love the feeling of my neighbour go to for things I need. I never suffer panic attacks here, Thus target has very friendly people, and they asking me if I found what I wanted doesn't feel rehearsed, but asked with genuine care. With nearly 4 targets accessible to me, this is my Favorite. Thank you for being so community focused~ read more

1 star for the location and just the layout of this target is HORRIBLE... Minus 1 star for the customer service over the phone when I called looking for a specific dress they claimed they didn't have it.., I thought to myself they didn't really look, I'm going to drive down anyways.. Since it's small it wasn't hard to find the ladies department.. I found the dress but not in my size.. so I do what I usually do ( shhh it's a secret) I grabbed the dress went to the dressing room and asked the young and very helpful miss if she had this dress to be put away in my size....( the clothes that people return that need to be taken back) she was kind enough to look and wouldn't you know it.. there it was. I thanked her for her help, we paid and got the heck out of there.... so 5 stars to the young lady who actually did her job.
