I have consigned dozens of items (and probably bought as many pieces) and always appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. I have introduced several friends to the store who have consigned furniture. Recently, we have noticed that a young woman who accepts items falls short in the customer service area. She has an air of self importance, and as my friend said recently, acts as if she is too busy saving the world to stop and help us mere mortals. Like any business, Couches to Curios would not exist without customers but this person doesn't seem to understand that. The rest of the staff, from owner Becky, manager Patrick (her son), and the sales people are all great.

The kitchen pieces and furniture are all wonderful looking but customer service was one of the worst. Other than that, the only reason I saved it at 2 stars was the curbside pick up. The gentlemen was really kind and helpful, much better than the rude manager of the store. When we happened to be traveling to Kansas City, we stumbled upon Arhaus and pulled over right away. We must have spent hours in the store trying to figure out which couch was the perfect fit for us, sitting on every cushion at every possible angle! It must have been funny to others watching us but it's such a big purchase, we just have to be sure! We kept going back to the original modular couch and the associate noticed this as well. The star associate who helped us, Elizabeth, was so friendly and honest with which couch selections would meet our criteria of being compatible with having small kids and pets in the home. She explained in detail the special warranty option and how to clean each fabric we were interested in. She sent us home with print outs and samples of fabrics we liked and we felt really good about the impromptu trip to this furniture store. We chose Crowley because of the many positive reviews, so this experience has been very disappointing.
