Rude customer service! From Mathew, Kim, and Joseph. I don't recommend this eyeglass optical at all. They are rude and unprofessional!

I really wish I would have read the reviews and realized all these great reviews are from years…read moreago!! This is the worst experience I have ever had with an eye doctor. The receptionist could care less being there, the doctor didn't listen when I kept saying everything was blurry on my bi- focal (i don't have any issues seeing up close) and even suggested to me I shouldn't use my phone as much because it's just me not adjusting to her prescription. I have a job that requires use of a cell phone, text messages, and emails. That response was a very out-of-touch response. During the exam, she kept asking me which slide was clearer but nothing was changing in the machine. When I commented I can't tell the difference, she got agitated with me and just kept repeating, slide 1 or 2. i have had exams in the past, and something always clicks in the machine so it's clear difference between slides but nothing was happening with this machine. I finally did my best to answer but I think I ended up undermining myself. I was then fitted with a contact lens, given a couple of samples but then told, save the last one for the doctor. So I could wear them 3 days to see if they worked. It gave me a terrible headache and only figured out the adjustment period is actually three weeks (AI taught me that, not the doctor). I paid $150 in contact exam, fitting, and whatever else fees and none of that was discussed with me ahead of time. When I called back to ask questions I was brushed off being told the doctor will explain that to you next time. I don't usually take time to write reviews because I don't honestly think these companies care. I am just so tired Of having to over-advocate for myself every time I go to a doctor because their boredom/arrogance keeps getting in the way.

I just wanted to take a moment to say how great my experience was at this Visionworks location. The…read moremanager there was absolutely on point. From the moment I walked in, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. What really stood out to me was that he remembered me, remembered the glasses I had picked out, and even knew the details of my insurance plan. That level of attention and customer care is rare these days. He personally helped me find the right pair of glasses and made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Honestly, this was one of the best vision care experiences I've ever had. Visionworks is lucky to have someone like him on their team. If anything, he deserves a promotion to an area manager because he clearly goes above and beyond for customers.

Things went smoothly at this point and the employees were nice. Fast forward to pickup and I met the least helpful employee ever who doesn't seem like he wants to even be there. He gave me my glasses, did not check the fit or offer to adjust them. Didn't really do any customer service. Just plopped the case right on the counter and said that's it. For comparison, the man at the CH location sat down with me and adjusted the temples on my initial pair until they sat correctly. I'm going to stick with the CH location.

Double thumbs up with customer service with the staff at the Stanton Optical in Roseville, CA…read more Always book my appointments ahead of time, but even with no appointment, they got me started on the eye exam right away! A huge Shout out to Piero for being professional and helpful! Still going back soon for my summer Rx shades

I have never experienced such poor communication and disorganization from an optical store…read more In February, I went to Stanton Optical to use my warranty to replace both my frames and lenses. The employee helping me told me she needed approval before submitting the warranty claim and that I would have to pay a percentage of the original cost of my glasses. She said she would call me as soon as the approval came through so I could come in and pay. A week went by with no call. I stopped by the store, and she said she was still waiting for approval and would contact me as soon as she heard back. Another week passed with no communication. I finally called the number listed for the store, only to reach a call center. The representative told me something completely different. He said I didn't owe anything, my warranty claim had already been processed, and my glasses had already been ordered. At that point I had no idea who to believe because the store and the call center were giving me completely different information. I didn't hear anything until May, when I received a notification that my glasses were ready. When I arrived to pick them up, the store couldn't even find them. After searching, they realized they had only received replacement lenses instead of both the frames and lenses that I had requested. They then tried to fit the new lenses into my existing frames, couldn't get them to fit, and had to reshape the lenses. When they handed me my glasses, I immediately realized the prescription was completely wrong. I pointed it out, and the employee apologized several times, put my old lenses back into my frames, and assured me that someone would call me the very next day to resolve the issue. That call never came. I was traveling for a while, so I wasn't able to go back immediately. When I finally returned last weekend, I spoke directly with the sales manager. She apologized, promised she would make sure I was contacted, and assured me someone would reach out. Once again, I never received a call. It's now been months since I originally went in for a simple warranty claim, and I still don't have the replacement glasses I was supposed to receive. Every step of this process has involved misinformation, broken promises, and a complete lack of follow-through. I've been told multiple times that someone would call me, and every single time I've been ignored. A warranty is supposed to give customers peace of mind. Instead, this experience has been months of frustration, wasted trips to the store, conflicting information, and zero accountability. If you value your time and expect basic communication, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
