I called today to pay for my contacts and have them shipped. The manager Jens Strepp had left me a detailed message about the cost $105.58 Mauricio one of the employees there said he could not honor the discount offered by the manager no matter my insistence, he asked me to call tomorrow when the manager is in. I called back to have my Rx faxed to Costco because I did not appreciate the fee not being honored, then Scott answered; our call dropped twice. After the second call dropped, I called and asked what Scott what he was explaining regarding my Rx but he accused me of hanging up on him.I tried to tell him I did not hang up but that I would like the info he was giving me when the call dropped. however he continued to speak loud over me and finally screamed at me saying "LISTEN LISTEN YOU HAVE 2 EARS AND ONE MOUTH LISTEN!!! I tried to explain again the call dropped and he hung up on me. I'm sorry to say that for such a nice manager what horrible staff he has who are driving the customers away. My family, sister family and mom are leaving. I am appalled to say the least about the way I was treated. The saying here applies ... "when the cat is out the mice will play" i'm horrified thinking there may have been patients in office listening to how he treated me. I went into this target optical just a few days ago. I had been seen by Jens Strepp optical team lead. I just needed my existing glasses to be checked before I went to NY. He not only tightened and adjusted my glasses, he also sold me a new stylish pair of Ray Ban Frames. This store really has wonderful educated people who work for the company. Well Done! Left 2+ emails for Target Optical to contact me for compensation for lenses prescription error. Target Optical to date has not responded. Background: I had lenses replaced under vision protection plan and found out that Target Optical had used a prior prescription, not the new prescription I provided. I always thought something was not quite right, but thought it was in my head. It was not. I was using an old prescription for over a year, due to Target Optical's error. Again, Target has still not contacted me to address this error (incident). So, if you choose to be a repeat customer of Target Optical, you might want to double check they've given you the correct prescription lenses "if" there was a change from your previous prescription. read more

Jens was amazing! We came in at the end of the day because that was the only time we had. He was so knowledgeable,kind and patient it was outstanding service.! Outstanding! It is sometimes unusual to experience a high level of professionalism in a chain-store. But this full-service optical store nestled at the entrance of this Super Target delivers on every level in customer service, professionalism and the outstanding quality of their work. My optical exam was a breeze. The expertise displayed by Dr. Caruso made my initial anxiety disappear. My pre-exam testing was done with professionalism and there was minimum wait time during these interactions. My optician Lucas wowed in his vast knowledge of the optical products and options available and showed keen interest in determining my overall objectives. I must say that I left the store feeling that I had made the best decisions and was pretty confident that I got the best value for money and top-notch service! Talk about meeting my expectations, despite my multiple orders, I was very pleasantly surprised to receive prompt text messages upon completion and all three pairs of glasses were ready in 7 days. Excellent quality of work and they got all 3 pairs of glasses done right the first time!! So happy that I found this awesome optical store and look forward to again taking advantage of their affordable prices, their extra-ordinary customer service and overall expertise!! Rude unprofessional service. Go anywhere else. They do not answer the phone. The manager is mean and lazy

First off, I love Dr Caruso and this review is in no way a reflection on her. I reviewed that part of the optical dept separate this is only about the Target optical section, not the optometrist, specifically the Manager Megan. I had my yearly eye exam and after ordered 2 pairs of glasses with my new prescription but I prefer certain frames so I brought my own to be made into prescription. I had a great checkout experience with a guy, I forget his name. 2 weeks later I go into pick up my glasses from Megan the manager and try them on. They are blurry so I let her know that I cant see out of them. She says I have to "get used to them and try them outdoors ". Ok this is not a pair of shoes to break in, Ive been wearing glasses over 30 years and never had to break them in! We debated this point back and forth and I can see I was getting nowhere so I agreed to "get used to them" and asked her to tighten them so they at least fit my face. She said it cant be done. I asked her to please at least try to fit them to my face, hoping it may help with the blurriness. She huffed to the back with my glasses and what she gave me back a mangled mess! The arms were tightened yes, but wavy like bacon! She ruined my $250 Valley sunglasses that I just paid an extra $300 to get made into prescription! I was so upset, I took my mangled glasses and left and cried a bit in my car. I called the next day to speak with the manager about my ordeal and was shocked to find out this rude inconsiderate unprofessional woman was the manager! Long story shorter, I finally got in contact with the Target optical regional mgr who was very understanding and apologetic. She did refund the lenses (which had a 90 day warranty anyway) and offered to remake with target frames. She could not reimburse me for my ruined designer glasses frames and sunglasses which is upsetting. Moral of the story, DO NOT bring your own frames here for glasses and avoid the manager Megan! Everything else and everyone else have been wonderful. read more

Absolutely wonderful experience! Jeffrey took such good care of me during my visit. I travel for work and have needed new eyeglasses and sunglasses. I happen to have my prescription with me and Jeffrey did such an awesome job of helping me find fabulous frames. I was supposed to be back in Florida for work and to pick up the frames. The week of travel my plans changed, 1 phone call was all it took. Jeffrey packaged up both pairs and had them shipped locally. I so appreciate everything that he did to help me get my new eyeglasses and sunglasses! If your in the market for frames head to Target Optical and let Jeffrey help you! Joe was also there and he was so friendly and engaging as well. My visit not only helped me get 2 new pairs of glasses, it also helped me have many laughs with away from home. Everything about Target Optical was stellar. I was seen almost immediately even though I arrived a bit early for my appointment, a refreshing change considering most experiences I've had at Floridian doctor offices. Dr Caruso was thorough, professional, and above all very nice! She told me exactly what was happening, and let me see all the diagnostic pictures myself as well. Afterwards, needing new glasses, I had the prescriptions filled here as well. They did a deep inspection when my glasses arrived and found the manufacturer had not made them correctly, so they sent them back and got me a new correct pair at no charge to me. I absolutely love Dr Caruso. I have been coming here for a few years. I have never had any issues until this year. I give it 3 stars because I have had a very unpleasant experience with Tony. He is not very knowledgeable (or at least he wasn't with me) & when I went to pick up my glasses he was very argumentative with me because I saw scratches on my lenses. Then very rudely said he would get new lenses made & when he handed me my receipt again very rudely said they will be ready in 2 weeks. This will make me not want to use target optical again. Hello. I absolutely loved Dr. Caruso and the team at Target Optical Lake Worth. The customer service was great and Dr. Caruso was great with my thirteen year old daughter and myself. Thought she knowledgeable, professional, patient and kind with a very approachable and warm demeanor. I was taken on time for my appointment if not a few minutes early. Also, last year there was an error in an order and the team went to great lengths to fix it and then some. I was having some eye discomfort and it was time for new glasses so I decided to stop by. Bad decision. Not only was I rushed out (the doctor was in a hurry to prepare things for a trip she was going on) but I was given the wrong diagnosis, given the incorrect steroid drops, AND then given glasses with the wrong prescription!
