    New Coach frames!
    Jessica W.

Optometrist: What: first-time eyeglasses for my 10 year old daughter. I made an appt. with the optometrist next door, Dr. Ngo ("No") and she was great with my daughter. We weren't sure if she needed glasses, she just complained recently about having trouble seeing the board in class. She did the 1-or-2 test and was AMAZED at how much clearer she could see with the adjustment. Glasses needed indeed. Service: We were seen on-time and Dr. Ngo was great with my daughter. I didn't have VSP, but Dr. Ngo was kind enough to check my medical insurance and weirdly enough, it completely covered the exam and ANY pair of glasses for my minor child under 17. Awesome! Ambiance: Small, clean with new equipment. ***** Optical Dept.: What: kid frames! At first I was looking at the cheaper frames, but it turns out my medical insurance covered ANY frame for my child, so with Erin's help, we picked an adult Coach frame - I didn't care about the brand, I just wanted it to look good on my kid's face. Service: they should get a thing where you take a number because there were only two helpers who were already busy with people after we came in and then all these customers came and it was a little nuts with everyone waiting in the small shop. Maybe try an off time as we were there after school on a Friday. Ambiance: small shop. They didn't have that many kid frames, but when it turned out we could get any frame and some non-kid frames fit my kid, then it was ok. Cost: with my medical insurance covering ANY glasses for my minor child, I just had to pay the tax and I wanted the scratch resistant lenses so at the end of the day I paid $62 total. This price was better than any of the specials/promos they had. Turnaround time: They told me 7-10 business days, but said it usually comes sooner. It came in 2 business days! I got a text it was in and Shaun helped get the fit just right. My daughter is SO EXCITED about her new glasses and they look great!

Olivia was great. Place is clean and everyone is wearing a mask. I dropped in to get my glasses adjust and she was said, "absolutely!"

Dr Ngo actually took her time and worked in getting me into the right pair of contacts that works with astigmatism!

Alexis went above and beyond helping me select eyeglass frames. She was patient, kind, and…read moregenuinely knowledgeable about which styles complement different face shapes. Her confidence and expertise built trust quickly, and I walked out with my favorite frames in years. If you need help finding the right pair, ask for her by name.

Not really sure where to start--I never write yelp reviews so the fact I am taking time out of my…read moreday to write this says alot. For starters-- booking an initial appointment was easy (call or text) I found the text feature really convinient. Additional quick paperwork and not too long of a wait before you're seen. Front office staff was pretty friendly. It was probably the practice of the appointment where it could have been better. I understand having techs that are new and being freshly trained--but to the point where routine practices take longer than necessary, or machines not being sanitized before you are placed on them, or having to redo certain things due to incompetence is unnecessary. I was seen by Dr. Angela Khakshooy. Not sure if it was just an off day but there was little to no interaction. It seemed as if there was tension between her and the front office staff for some reason. I voiced my concerns with her about my perscription for contact lenses and she said "How about I tell you what you're going to use." It sounded a bit condescending and dismissive but I bypassed it because I am not the professional. She wrote my contact prescription and then left for the day. I let her know the brand I currently use for contacts were extremely drying and not the best quality. Instead of really providing solid recommendations, or exploring other options she writes me an Rx for a cheaper, lower quality brand. The testers felt like glass in my eyes. She also said I had an astigmatism, refused to let me go up in Rx because of "overcorrection" -- and STILL wrote an Rx for the same exact script with NO DETAILS OF AN ASTIGMATISM? At this point she had left and there was not really much of a follow up. It wasn't until my eyeglasses where I felt better with the experience. The person helping me was super patient and even got me a deal on designer eyeglasses. I was super appreciative of that. When I mentioned my contacts feeling horrible SHE was the one who suggested another brand, gave me new testers (which I appreciate her so much for because she introduced me to an amazing contacts brand, shoutout to her! Amazing. Also gave me alot of knowledgeable insight-- almost more than the optometrist who kind of just disregarded me as a patient. To this moment I still don't know if my contact Rx is ideal for me. I decided to order the contacts from another source as I don't feel comfortable giving this establishment any more of my money. The level of care was subpar and I honestly wouldn't come here again. Mind you--I had to text back several times for an updated perscription-- so the astigmatism issue would be noted in the new script for toric lenses. Not worth the 80$ contact exam plus the additional 39$ for them to photograph your eye over dilation. There are great places in Vegas, but this one is a hard pass.

They were professional, had a robust, modern selection of glasses, and spent a great deal of time with me in the exam and afterwards to ensure I received the best prescription, care, and overall experience. Very happy I found them!

I wanted to update my review as I saw someone rated this office poorly over tightening screws on…read moretheir frames. FYI - they could be liable for damage to the frames. Of course, it makes sense that they wouldn't do it. Just like I can't bring a Banana Republic blouse to Nordstrom for tailoring. They are appointment only and it's SUPER easy to use their online tool to make an appt. ANYWHOO.... Dr. Julie is the bomb dot com. This office is probably one of the best full-service Optometrist offices I've been to in a long time. She's so gentle and kind that my kids look forward to seeing her. We suspected that our 3yo might need glasses and Dr. Julie took a minute to assess her and validated our concerns. She didn't have to as my daughter wasn't scheduled. She just tagged along because she LOVES seeing Dr. Julie. One thing that's kept us coming back is that they never pressure us or mandate a plan. I'm due for new glasses and yes, I could get new frames. BUT, I have a giant head and it's hard to find a good fit. I got these frames a couple of years ago from this office. The poor guy went through the wringer trying to find the best fit. Before this pair, I wore my glasses for maybe a total of 2 weeks out of the year. Since this pair, I'm a good 50/50 because they're so comfortable. Angela could vibe that my eyes were wandering. She totally understood that I wanted to check out my options. She said she didn't want me to have any regrets (I do spend a lot of time thinking about what if). She too went through ALL the cabinets and drawers. She gave honest feedback on fit. There was zero pressure which made the process honest. In the past, I've definitely gone home with glasses that I hated and it was the worst. I ultimately went forward with just replacing my lenses. I love that both she and Dr. Julie mapped out the next steps with many options. I'm navigating this NEW stage of my life (bifocals, readers, different glasses for different things) and it's a little daunting. If one didn't work out, we had a backup plan. They were SO GENTLE with this transition (no one wants to be reminded they're getting older).
