Amazing customer service! Start to finish these folks are pros! Super friendly and knowledgeable and so nice! My husband I both got glasses and they took their time with us making us feel truly cared for. I ended up bringing my reading glasses back and no problem at all they (Michael) remeasured and told me what the problem was and sent them back to be re-adjusted. I also brought my progressives back and asked that they change them to bi-focals. They were SO patient and cheerfully agreed to send them back. (Alejandra) was a doll! This little shop is hidden so well that you wouldn't even know it's here if you weren't looking for it. I came here to have my lenses put into my Prada frames because they're way cheaper than the other places I checked. With my insurance, I literally only had to pay $10 ($9.50 with my RedCard discount)! The employees here are great. I called to ask some questions before even coming in and the young lady that answered the phone was so helpful. I had to interact with two other employees throughout the process, and they were both great, too. As far as the shop, they actually have a large selection to choose from! I was surprised. They don't carry the higher designer brands like Gucci, Tom Ford, etc., but if you're okay with Armani Exchange, Ray Bans, Oakley's, etc., you will do just fine at this shop. They have a lot of really nice designs and cover everything from more modern, to classic, to edgy. In all, they told me my glasses would be ready for pickup in 10 days. They conveniently send you text alerts to let you know once done. I was really happy that they were actually done in just 6 days! Underpromise and overdeliver! Def coming here again next year when my insurance renews. read more

I came here for a second opinion on a prescription I'd recently received that I was skeptical about. The entire staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, so much so that I'm considering leaving my doctor. The doctor took time to answer all of my questions and make sure I got the right prescription I needed moving forward. I wish all doctors operated like this. I came here for two years when my insurance was Aetna. The doctor was really friendly, but they push a lot of their products on you so if you don't have good insurance, you might end up paying over $300 for their glasses and lenses. When I had my Aetna insurance, I got a nice pair of sunglasses with lenses and contact lenses for $150. I just went to a new eye doctor because my insurance had changed, and he told me that my prescription was stronger than they had prescribed. I wouldn't have known my prescription was incorrect if I had not gone to a new eye doctor so that's why I gave them two stars. read more

The doctor is great, but the materials they use are terrible. I have had my glasses for less than a year and the reflective/anti glare coating is wearing off. I called the store to complain and they said I should have purchased a protection policy. Why would I ever think that the reflective coating would wear off. I had my last pair of glasses for over 3 years with no problems. Even with insurance I paid a lot of money for these glasses. I will never go here again. read more

Please beware of Target Optical in general....They fire employees who do not follow the process verbatim. Let me explain. I used this establishment two years in a row and always got the insurance on my lenses and frames. Well, I went to target to replace a scratched lense for my regular glasses paid the deductible of 25.00. They told me to go back in two weeks or when they called me. When I went to pick up my glasses they ordered my sunglasses instead of my regular glasses. She proceeded to tell me my regular glasses were out of warranty by 20 days. The Manager, Carol Gitune was adamant about not making a 20 day exception. I asked to speak to her manager, and she told me she was the manager. I asked who do you report to and she said Carlos and gave me his number. After speaking to Carlos Delgado, he said there are no exception to the rule. Carlos said the gentleman who took my sunglasses was going to be fired for making a few day exception. Carlos told me that he reports directly to the top of a company called Essilor Luxottica and they are stringent and leave no leeway....In essence, there is NO EXCEPTION to the rule. I came here b/c my friend brought her 3 kids here and she highly recommended Dr. Elizabeth Kardos. She also had positive reviews online so I gave her a shot. Calling to make an appt was smooth sailing. Dr. Kardos is so sweet and soft spoken, I mean, you can't help but to love her right away. I had gotten lasik done about 8 years ago but I was getting headaches and was told I may need glasses for work since I stare at a screen all day. Dr. Kardos ran quite a few tests, told me I should get glasses but with very little medicine. She explained how they would help put what I see more into focus and man was she RIGHT! They have such a great collection of eye wear, I was impressed with the brands they carried. Also so affordable! I was not aware that this target has an optical store as well so i was ecstatic. i went to the counter to make an appointment for my kid who lost her glasses and needed for school. the lady at the counter was very friendly and accommodated me with the soonest appointment. the day of the visit--3 days after- there wasn't any wait. I saw Dr. Kardos on Monday and had a great experience. She explained everything along the way and was very informative about the health of my eyes and other underlying health problems that the eyes can show. Ordered my glasses on the 19th of January, it is now February 5th and I have no glasses. After calling everyday I find out THEY GET LOST IN THE MAIL. My daughter glasses broke and the man at the counter that helped us in ordering new glasses gave us a pair of glasses as a loaner that we will return when we pick up the new pair. Was skeptical about making an eye appointment at Target, but was glad I did or I wouldn't have found out how competent Dr. Kardos is. She is awesome at what she does. She's very thorough throughout her eye exam and provided detailed explanation of what she was doing. Greg in their optical shop is topnotch, too! Under-promises but over-delivers every single time I made transactions with him. Very pleasant to work with, coupled with excellent customer service. Contrary to what one of reviews mentioned about pushing products, Greg informed me of the services and available options for my info, but I never felt pressured to add to what I've planned on purchasing. There might be a little wait to get helped esp if there's only one person in the shop, but when it is your turn, Greg makes sure that he spends time with you and takes care of your optical needs.
