I was checking out at Target, buying groceries (yes, I sometimes buy groceries at Target), when I noticed the guy behind me put only one thing down on the conveyer belt - a box of condoms. Not only did he catch me looking at them, but we also made super uncomfortable eye contact. So in an effort to lighten the mood, I reached down to grab a bottle of ketchup that I intended to buy and said, "Hey, I see we're both buying something to put on our wieners!" He laughed. I laughed. The lady ahead of us laughed. Even the woman working the register laughed. This target destroyed my girls car! Wtf! My girlfriend came here one day to buy come accessories and cleaning supplies. When she was in jewelry she shopped and no one came to help 15 mins. Finally she left to get bleach then returned and asked for assistance. Some rude ass girl comes over with an attitude and opens the case. My girl decides to buy a cheap bracelet for a charity event she was gong to. So now the girl was pissed she had to ring her up. The girl hated her job and proceeded to walk her over to a register. This chick had the worst manners while checking out and just tossing items into the bag. Including the bleach. My girl just grabbed her stuff and left after being held up from no one helping her. She puts the bags in her trunk and drives a block away to my condo. When she gets there she pops the trunk only to find the bleach cap had been broken from the girl throwing shit in the bag! Now bleach has spilled all over the back of my girls black on black 525 BMW and had ruined clothes, shoes, bags, and purses my girl takes with her back and forth grime her house to mine! So we pick up the bleach bottle bag and the lid was cracked. So we immediately head back just to find out the girl who checked us out did not log in so her name was not on the receipt as our cashier. So we get a manager who returns the bleach and gives us our money back and tells us to come back and speak with the store manager. At this point we are pissed! So I go back the next day and speak to the manager who was pretty cool and takes a report because apparently target has insurance for this stuff. So now we wait. Days go by and the insurance company finally calls and takes some info and they are shocked to find out the store never took pictures of any items and just chucked out the broken bottle! They said store policy was to investigate. In the meantime my girls Nav and Idrive go out completely in her car the next day. I check if out and bleach had seeped down the trunk into the wiring and damaged some harnesses. Now it's worse. So we take the car to 2 different mechanics to check out the car and both said the bleach had eaten through wires they needed to be replaced! Now the insurance company gets a call about these items. We send over proof just to have them drag their feet. They take weeks to get back to us meanwhile we have no radio or Nav on the car. They bounce us between adjusters while we faxed receipts and pictures of the damage. They never called back and sent out a letter and deny the claim saying Target did nothing wrong and we were stuck replacing all the shit! We are still currently fighting this as we speak and the stores manager come to find out tampered with the investigation by throwing out the bottle. We took pictures if it but still that wasn't enough! We will never shop at target and have not since this occurred! I'm taking this up the ladder even further to some execs to get this handled because we spend tons of money here just to be blown off by some corporate BS... Not gonna happen! Beware and please check all your items before leaving the store! read more

This Target is great in terms of cleanliness. The staff on the other hand is not the best. They don't bother to help you look for items (specifically in the electronics section) because they prefer that they are left alone to play with their cellphone. When asked for help they simply tell you items are out of stock without verifying inventory or even getting out of their chair to go check the shelf. Thanks for nothing Target staff, I found the charger myself while you played Angry Birds on you phone. Hope you got a high score because you won't be getting one from me. read more

I've been coming to this target for about 2 years now and I've never had an unpleasant experience until today. I'm giving this store 4 stars because of all of the good visits I have had. But today was truly terrible. The young lady that checked me out did not know what she was doing. I asked for a gift receipt and it took her 5 minutes to get on for me. Then when she handed it to me said she "doesn't think she did it correctly but oh well." I replied asking her to double check....and she advised that I go over to guest services to have them double check for me. WHAT???? So I went over to guest services and waited behind ONE other person for 10 mins!!! The young lady behind the counter was helping someone - very slowly. And there was a gentlemen the behind the counter on his cell phone. I am disappointed with the LACK of customer care in my visit today. I probably will no longer make the trip to come to this target anymore (I will start going to the one closer to my home). Disappointed. read more

Went in bought a gift card for baby shower for 50.00 when my friend went to use the card there was no money on the card how embarrassing for me and her with her cart full. I contacted corporate they were to correct it and once again it was still zero again on the phone with corporate finally got it taken care of and no apology or 10.00 off for a mistake and inconvenience on there part I asked and they just responded with well it got fixed ummm hello as it should have just didn't go above and beyond for their big mistake even fast food drops a pie in or something won't be shopping here again read more

Do not drop your film off here! Most of the people working the photo lab do not know what they are doing. They exposed my film once. Another time I dropped off for 1 hr. Photo, came back an hour later, and it wasn't even started on! I will not be visiting this location ever again. However, the Photo Lab in Target off Foothill and Haven is very knowledgable. read more

I live in Rancho Cucamonga, probably closer to the Foothill/Haven store, but immediately think of the 4th Street location when I need to shop at Target. This store is very clean and the customer service is USUALLY very good...unfortunately, my last experience made me ponder a bit. I purchased the usual female maintence items (makeup, hairspray, color in a box, etc.) that every girl hates to spend money on but is a MUST. Up until checkout everythings was awesome, as usual; however, once my purchase was complete I walked away from the register/cashier without my bag. I had only moved about 3 feet to stand by the soda dispenser/snack bar to wait for my daughter to finish her order. In the 5 minutes of waiting for her to do all the stuff people do (get napkins/open straw/etc.) several people had gone through the cashier I did, making 1-2 item purchases. And NEVER once did the cashier flag me down or bring my bag the 3 feet to me. Once I got to the car and opened my trunk to place my now missing bag of items in, I realized I never received the bag and all that time the cashier never bothered to inform me while I was standing so close. I went back inside to ask about it, and she pulled it from under the counter. Huh? Didn't she think in that 5 minutes of me standing just 3 feet from the end of her register that it would have been nice to remind me that I never took my bag....or was she planning to keep it for herself??? That thought never even crossed my mind until I got home and shared the event with my husband, who thinks that's exactly what she was doing....I certainly hope not. Needless to say, I'm more attentive now when checking out at the register --- not just at this Target but all stores --- I still love this Target, but am now a bit jaded. read more

This is probably one of my favorite Target stores as I find it very convenient to get in and out and the parking is somewhat easy because of the large parking lot. I also enjoy in staff there as I now live in Los Angeles California and find that people in California are at least in Los Angeles portion are very cold but dealing with the people in Ontario brings me back to reality that there are normal people out there. read more

I started to notice a couple months ago that the prices for certain items were cheaper than Walmart. I have been to this Target several times when I lived in the area. Today I had to make a quick stop in to purchase a jacket for my nephew. Just like I expected the place has not changed. I'm so glad this store is open so late! I had a minor medical emergency, and I was able to pick up the needed medicine at 10:30pm. I've also been able to stock up on classroom supplies with their B2S section and clearance. This target staffs so inconsistently it's ridiculous. I'm here almost every Sunday, including now, and only two regular checkers are open. Lines are to the section where the jewelry is. It's just insane and ridiculous every time I'm here it takes me longer to check out than to actually shop. Please advise. we went in at around 9:50pm (close to closing) and headed straight to the electronics because we knew exactly what we wanted. we wanted an ipad. so we asked some worker and he seemed annoyed (understandably) but said he would go get the keys. like 10 minutes passed and the guy never showed up. so a nice girl came and asked us if he got the keys and we said no so she went to get them and came back in like two seconds. she checked in the back and told us that they didnt have the one we wanted but they had a different one so we asked to see it. by this time its like 10:15, and yes it was after closing but the guy never came back so it wasnt our fault. anyways we were looking at the display ipads and this lady (a manager im guessing) comes over and started YELLING at us!"EXCUSE ME! all the registers are closed you guys need to get out" and i started to explain "someone is already helping us we will be out in like fi-" she cuts me off and starts yelling again. " NOPE! registers are closed, get out" just as that comes out of her mouth, the employees that were helping us come out with a new ipad in their hands and she starts yelling at all of us that the registers are closed. like, first of all, if that guy would have come back we wouldn't have even been there, second of all the ipad we wanted WAS RIGHT IN HIS HANDS!! we could have been out of there in like five minutes at that point!!! that lady mustve been having a bad day or something because she just ruined our day too. hope this finds the right people. read more

I really hate to leave a poor review and I'll remove it once I see a change but since the remodel (which I love!) I've noticed that they don't seem to keep up with their stock. I've gone in on 3 separate occasions in the past couple of weeks for 3 different items and all I see are empty shelves. Two weeks ago I needed a new water filter for my pitcher. The entire row was empty. Checked back a couple of days later. Same thing. Last week I need a refill pack for the odor eliminator pucks for our Baby's munchkin diaper trash bin. The entire row was empty. I asked an employee if she can check the system, she was very nice, and she mentioned that it listed 7 still in stock but didn't understand why they weren't on the sales floor. The last item was water....just a plane gallon of water. I went in on 2 occasions and they only had the distilled Target brand and nothing else. We live right across the street so this Target is very convenient for us as well as the other 3 very large apartment communities that border the store so it's a shame that they can't keep up with re stocking the aisles. We've decided to drive all the way to the Target on foothill for now which seems to have everything we need always in stock. Please fix this because we like coming here. read more

This is the best Target around for food items. They carry more food and they carry a lot more "Market Pantry" items than other Target stores in the area. If you are on a budget, and who isn't these days, then this is the Target for you. read more

This is by far the WORST Target I have ever been to and I go to Target A LOT! In other states, other countries even. This one is still the "winner!" They constantly have empty shelves and the real kicker is that it's even Market Pantry/Target brand things that they don't have. How can Target be out of Target brand things?! This is not an isolated event, I visit this Target semi regularly as it is closest to my office. Every single time I go here, I end up having to stop by either a grocery store or another Target to get the laundry list of things they didn't have. It's definitely the biggest annoyance but by no means the only problem. The checkers are also slow and not particularly friendly. There are usually only three or four lanes open even though the lines are backed up into the aisle. Overall, it's just poorly run. As other reviewers have mentioned, the horror that is the parking lot cart situation. There are only TWO cart returns more or less in the middle of the parking lot. Unfortunately there's a good 10 rows of parking that span the front of the store. People can barely commit to returning their cart when it's a few feet away, so it's no surprise they don't maneuver through rows and rows to put their carts in the designated area. And as this location has also yet to adopt the new Target cart-zone-break-thingies, there are carts EVERYWHERE! Remember my office just around the corner? Yeah, Target carts in our parking lot! If ever there were a location that needs the cart-break-things it's this one as driving though the surrounding area there's always an abundance of stray carts. read more

I loved this Target, it is across from home. It was remodeled last year. It looks nice but overrated. They only seem to stock the wine and beer section. Basic products are missing for weeks, and when they return the prices are 10 or 50 cents higher. A can of Cesar dog food went from 79 cents to 89. It is convenient for me because its location. But I am going to another Target also in Rancho because they stock their shelves. read more

I love coming to Target, the dollar spot gets me everytime! Great marketing ploy Target I'm a sucker everytime. I had some time to kill so I decided to look around. It had everything you would expect from Target. This one also has Starbucks located inside and a mini food court with Pizza Hut, icee drinks and snacks. The store was clean and organized. The dollar spot at this location had items I've never seen at the other stores. I took off two stars because the restroom was horrible! I decided to wait until my next destination rather than using the facilities here. So ladies have fun shopping but avoid the restrooms. read more
