Upon entering I was greeted by an employee who shared her name and asked what brought me in. After telling her, instead of showing me around, asking a million questions, or telling me everything about the store, she just referred me to areas I needed and allowed me to browse in peace. The space was spacious. I gather inventory changes, but when I went there were mostly couches. However, there were also tables, some patio items, rugs, chairs, storage (shelves, bookcases), and a few other items types. I didn't see a lot in terms of decor (throws, pillows, vases, etc). Unfortunately, none of the sofas were my style. Most of their items had a modern and retro look. And far bigger than my space could acommadate (sensibly). Although it's the outlet prices were still pretty high. I was looking for miid-level so even if I liked a sofa, at $3k plus it wouldn't have worked. Thankfully there were other furniture stores in the area so it's not like I traveled out there for nothing.

What differentiates Tracy Luther (the owner) from all other auctions is that he is way ahead of his time in merging 'entertainment' with 'auctions'. Yes, Tracy Luther is a true entertainer, and a knowledgeable one, and he puts up a great show each time. Buying with him is fun that way, and I bet that sellers of estates achieve much higher prices with him, because buyers there are prepared to pay for the high entertainment value he adds to his auctions. What is also enjoyable is how well organized his auctions 'flow', without any significant hitch and they are very fast. Tracy Luther is even successful with his staff, as I experienced when I coincidentally met someone online who had worked for him for years and still sang his praise extensively. Yes, his own people love working with him. And, as far as cost, he is relatively inexpensive, with a 15% commission to buyer in a time where many charge an absurd 20% for much less.
