I had a really bad experience. Came to this store based on the availability of an item I was looking for off a registry. The registry price listed the item at $35 less than what they rang it up for. I explained the registry listed it at a much lower price and they wouldn't budge. They said "online prices are different." I pointed out this item said "in store only"... It clearly wasn't an online price. No luck.... Because no other nearby store had the item I had to purchase it here, drive to the norridge location (at Harlem Irving mall) and explain to them my dilemma. They gladly returned the item and re rang it at the price that showed on the registry and didn't understand why the niles location wouldn't do the same. Norridge is now my go to target, that's for sure. read more

Nice store but try to get a job here. When I was out of work a couple of years ago I tried 2 or 3 times and didn't get hired. I would of done well for them. My friend used to work here and he said to me that 2 people they hired over me during different times were fired a week after getting hired. One was for stealing and the other one never came to work. You see I would never do any of that. It just comes to tell you nowadays places don't do their research when hiring someone. I'll bet you if they hired me two and a half years ago I would of probably still been there because I work hard and enjoy my work. So Target you made a bad mistake in not hiring me. read more

I love target in general, but aside from a small amount of employees, they're usually rude. I've been bumped into by several employees as well. Literally. No apologies except from 1 person. So rude. Otherwise the store is well stocked for what I come for... there's a starbucks and a decent dollar section. read more

I purchased an electric razor and it didn't work. I tried to return it but was told the return policy did not apply because it was opened. Reason being that it was considered an electronic device. I mentioned to the person who told me she was the manager that it did not say that anywhere on the receipt, she states that it just was. I also asked her why it was in the personal care section rather than electronics, sure had no answer. Target has a reputation for shady return policy, now I know why. read more

Incredibly disappointed with the photo department!! My father-in-law passed away yesterday and I thought Target would be the easiest and fastest way to get photos developed for the services. Despite receiving the confirmation email hours ago that the photos were ready, I was just told I should shop for 30 minutes because there were orders ahead of me. Then why email me they were ready for pickup?!! Target you have lost my business for good. read more

My favorite of all Targets. They have a great selection of women's clothing and accessories. Getting of the parking lot is difficult on a weekday. You need to plan ahead if you're coming here during the weekend. read more

I'm not a big fan of Target. We used to call it the Wal-Mart of the rich. The staff at this particular one was really nice and I found exactly what I was looking for but I'm just not a big fan in general. Maybe I will change my mind one day, who knows? read more

This Target always seems clean and has friendly Team members. The store is generally stocked well with products and prices are comparable to competitors. There are very short lines when checking out. The parking lot can be congested at times with really only one way out of the parking lot. read more

I absolutely LOVE this Target location! I saw some negative reviews regarding the recent renovations, and although I agree that it caused some chaos in the process, I have to say that the end results are amazing! The entire grocery section has expanded and is more spacious than ever! The wine and liquor section looks closer to something you'd see in Binny's, and they've added a second entrance/exit on this end of the building as a huge convenience to the customer shopping only for food/groceries. Have you seen the new revamped beauty section? It competes with places like Sephora or Ulta now...just with brands offered by Target. This location has a ton of inventory, and it does feel more like a department store rather than an expanded convenient store. The staff is overall very friendly. I understand how stressful it must have been for everyone who worked here during the renovation process. I could hear customers complaining about how the space was being utilized during that time, and how they couldn't find things that they were looking for. But I also noticed that more staff members were being placed throughout the store just to direct customers in the right direction. There are always growing pains when it comes to remodeling or renovating--especially during busy business hours. The show must go on. I commend the people who are involved with this location for doing the best they could with the resources they were given these last few months. The results paid off for customers, and I will continue to promote this location. I'm a huge fan of this store, and you will see me shopping here every week from now on. read more

Disappointed, I always liked this Target but after the construction it just isn't very good. Tons of empty shelves. Sparse cramped Christmas section and not one tree was lit up. One employee bumped into me not once but three times in her frenzy pushing a palette. I actually felt bad for her she seemed under pressure and frazzled. The cashier was lovely and told me other customers expressed the same concerns. Oh well, I'll have to choose a different Target. read more

This is the closest Target to me that is stocked up and clean. The one in Golf Mill is never stocked and not so neat. I dont recommend using Target for baby or wedding registries. They suck about no receipt returns. Plus they dont have a great selection. Stick to Babies R Us for baby showers and Bed Bath and Beyond for weddings. Overall...Target is SO MUCH better than Walmart that is for sure. read more

Have had some good and some not so good times here . they do have great sales thing is a lot of the time they forget to take signs down , or they put things in wrong place so you have to read real close as to size and item . some times it can be same thing but one little difference and wrong item and 2 dollars more . Then you have to deal with long line at the customer service disk . The lines are slow at times middle day . come in rush hour from 3 to 7 and can be very busy and have to take time and have time to shop then . read more

I understand that only young kids e going to be working at Target but they should be taught how to act SOMEWHAT PROCESSIONAL. I usually give people...not a second chance, but a third and fourth chance just in case they may be at a rough time in their life but they are complete assholes. Was trying to return something...I must have grabbed another receipt of my daughter"s and unbeknownst to me, she had already returned the other item..never told me because it was a gift and she didn't want to hurt my feelings so I go in and try to return the thing and it comes up as already returned so the lady calls a supervisor over and is like Whispering something to him in front of me it was so unprofessional and just outright rude. After she was done with her Sophomoric display, the kid she was talking to then burst s out" YEAH WE CAN'T RETURN THIS" ...do people have no tact whatsover? Training should cease if the individual cannot put a sentence together, 1., 2. have some class , and 3. Find anotherb job if you are miserable...they all act like you are bothering them when u ask for help or appear in their line. read more

i am over all a very big fan of the target store. not just this location. right now i just happen to live close to this one but i always made effort to make target "on the way"..... what i like is that most of the time the lines are very short,staff is always nice, they will try to answer the questions best they can. even once associate took out item out of the box for me to double check that it for sure contained the set of batteries promised on the box. i do fill out the surveys all the time in hope that one day i will win a gift card (silly me). i would loooooooove to win. my friends are laughing that i could by now become a spokes person for target. after my recent very bad (and i mean ugly!!!!) experience at a walmart store i have just been reinforced in my believe that target is the place to shop. i have not been disappointed yet read more

Target Pharmacy Rocks! All their employees from the Pharm techs to the Pharmacists exemplifies professionalism and sincerity. There have been a number of times where Shifali (Pharmacist) has took the time to explain the side effects of new drugs. She is so efficient and knowledgable. She took the time to know each member of my family and asks pertinent questions to aid us w suggestions in helping us feel better. Another person I'd like to recognize is Sophie. She has such a pleasant demeanor. When your not feeling well or have a sick family member, talking to Sophie already makes you feel better. She is very efficient as well. There is another pharm tech that I'd like to acknowledge but I don't recall his name- he is Hispanic. He has a contagious happy attitude and told me he use to work at Starbucks in downtown. He is also very efficient - especially when the pharmacy gets busy. I've been coming to this Target for years and would not go elsewhere. I've been to the pharmacy at Osco & Walgreens. Target pharmacy on Touhy surpasses all other drug store providers. They provide a service w/ a sincere & personal approach. read more

I'm giving 5 Stars for customer service to AP Manager Morgan who assisted me in replacing gift cards that were lost the day before. And Oscar for pointing me in the direction for refunds. Morgan greeted me with professionalism and grace as I told her my story how I lost the cards the day before at her store, and how Oscar in security told I did indeed take them from the store instead of not receiving them from cashier as I thought after he viewed the video. And I point out I looked like crap after a afternoon chopping wood. Morgan took the time to call the gift card lost and stolen line and explained the situation, to them not once, twice but three times as she was continuously hung up on by her own company. Target needs to be ashamed of this point. She then proceeded to see if she refund the purchase to my credit card and also validated that that one of the cards was actually used in her store after it wasn't canceled like the hotline said it would be. Shame on that department once again. Long story short, Morgan first confirmed my tale, tracked that one card was canceled like the gift card C/S said it was, tracked the other cards use to prove that it was not I who used the card, and then promptly refunded the balance on a replacement gift card. All in all a two day ordeal was gracefully and professionally handled. Thanks to Morgan and Oscar for your patience, professionalism and understanding. Charles read more

This is a consistently great Target location. I've been to this store at least 500 times and I've never had a problem. It's clean and well-organized. If the checkout lanes get longer than 2-3 people, they open up more. There are lots of shopping options within 3 blocks of this place. More often than not, I don't have to go anywhere else. Sometimes Target stops carrying items that I buy, but that's not this store's fault. One gripe, though, about a few of the customers - people leave their carts in the middle of the parking lot. Thankfully, they're the plastic kind that are less likely to dent cars or hurt anyone. read more

Better than any other target in the area. Pretty clean for the most part friendly staff they seem pretty helpful for the most part. Plenty of parking which is nice because this place can get busy it really is a one stop shop for the most part. Fair pricing don't really get how they say Walmart is so much cheaper they seem pretty identical price wise. If this target is within reach for you definitely give it a shot. read more

This used to be my favorite Target. No more. First off, almost every time I am waiting in line, there are always at least 3 or 4 employees just standing around the jewelry area gossiping, laughing and/or eating, then they have get all loud and obnoxious calling the ENTIRE staff on their walkie-talkies to go back up on the lanes for them. What is wrong with that picture?! No wonder there aren't any employees on the sales floor when I need help! Secondly, the clothing areas are a MESS. Unacceptable! I assume this is what happens when the entire "management team" is in their early 20's and most, if not all of them, former "cheerleaders". FYI: It takes more than a "college degree" to run a store of that magnitude. Please, Target, find someone older with experience. I've walked into your store a few times during their ever-so-cheerful morning "PEP RALLIES" at the front lanes...what is that?! You're supposed to be "ADULTS". Stop that shit. The sales associate that assisted us during self checkout did not issue me the $10 gift card that I was due as a result of purchasing over $50 of diapers and wipes (I specifically purchased over $50 to obtain the gift card.) I tried calling the store but could not get through to a person..the phone rang and rang. When I returned to this store 5 days later to get the $10 gift card, they said it had to be issued within 3 days of purchase - though it did not state that on the signage or receipt. Not sure if these people get paid minimum wage or not but they seem miserable.. I'm sorry but customers should not take the brunt of it . Maybe they need to have some type of incentives for associates or something so that these people don't have such a low morale . It's awful! read more

My sons and I came to purchase 2 new phones and Tech assistant Ayanna Stevenson was awesome. Usually works at Howard location but drove to Toughy store to help us at 10:30 PM on X Mas Eve! Anything that could trip this transaction Up did but she handled it with grace and made everything happen and stayed with us until 11:30 PM to make sure we got what we came for. Very nice and excellent skills. She's the best! So was the rest of the staff who helped even after store closed at 11:00! I love this Target! read more
