This is a quite large and typically clean and bright Target situated near the busy Costco in Niles as well as the Leaning Tower of Niles. The most distinctive feature I noticed is that their grocery department is huge and at least 2-3 times larger than in most other Targets. I'm not sure why that is, but the customer base here must support it. Due to traffic from the Costco warehouse as well as their gas station, it's usually a bit of a cluster to leave the area. Nonetheless, it's in a handy location particularly when one might be doing dual Costco and Target runs. read more

Where are my reviews? This is a large location and I frequent it often. The reason I took off a star is because of the location. If you've ever tried to exit to Touhy Ave, you know my pain--you've felt it too! The cars coming from the Costco gas pumps, the other cars barreling through the stop sign on Melvina, the traffic from Touhy...I'd drive out of my way just to avoid this -- such a mess! read more

An enormous target location with a huge selection of products, particularly in the grocery section. In addition to the large selection, the displays are also a bit nicer than what you typically see. There is also plenty of parking in a lot that is arranged logically. On the negative side, the organization of products is sometimes inaccurate as you'll find items not really placed next to the appropriate label. The aisles do feel a bit narrow given the overall size of the store. The checkout here can also take some time as the normal checkout lines seem a bit understaffed and not all the self checkout stations are always functioning. With that said, I still appreciate having the convenience and value in the area that this target brings. read more

I usually go to another Target closer to where I live, but was in the area, and stopped in to buy a few things. The store was clean and not overly crowded, they had everything in stock, and the Cashier was nice and fast. I'll definitely stop by again the next time I am in the area. read more

They say that if you live 10 minutes from a Costco and/or 10 minutes from a Starbucks, your property value goes up like an extra 10 to 15 percent. Ok, I can buy that but how about living close to Target?? My Target is right next to Costco by the way. Let me know if you have that data point but nonetheless, I love this location. So convenient to get to from Touhy or Gross Point Rd. They also enlarged this location a number of years ago, this is one huge store. I've come here for a COVID shot, I've noticed that the selections are always fully stocked, there are great sales following a holiday or Christmas for chocolates, lights and decorations. There's a huge grocery section which is neat and clean. Now it is a parking trap, like I said, it's practically surrounded by Costco and the Costco Gas station so be patient and be kind as you try to find your way out. One more thing, I do like their toy section, I almost feel like a little kid when I check out what they have to offer. read more

Came in to shop for a shipt order and needed an additional quantity of an item that only had 1 on the shelf. Jackie was asked if she could see if they were sold out and if not could an extra one be retrieved from the back as this is for a customer who already paid for the item. Jackie proceeds to state, "I'm just tryna finish my cart and go home"...I'm truly confused as to what that would have to do with me and meeting the customer's needs. Very bad attitude for no reason. But it should be expected at this point from a Target employee as their hiring standards are on the floor. read more

There is zero enforcement of the current Illinois mask mandate. Do not shop here if you have immune-compromised family members or if you value your own health. We will never return. The place was also FILTHY. Poop on the walls of the bathroom, some weird clear gel spilling from popped bags on the ground of the checkout, toys all over the floors of the toy aisles. I literally never leave bad reviews because I don't wanna be a Karen but damn, this location made me put on my short haircut wig. Ok so I'm done with all my shopping ready to check out, so I go and get in line. There were two lines: one for self checkout and one for order pickup/guest services. So I go to the self check out one waiting for a light to turn green so I can go. A light turns green, so I start walking towards it, but I didn't see that the customer was still putting things in their cart and folding clothes so I waited patiently. The team member by the check out looked at me and told me with attitude "you have to wait until it's your turn!" So I was like "ok, I just saw the light turn green I didn't see that they weren't done yet." She responded "you have to get back in line" like damn I didn't know we were back in kindergarten lady So finally I go to the next register that opens up and I start scanning my things. I got a native toothpaste that said it was on sale for $6.99 and it was scanning for $9.99, I even had a picture that I took *just in case* She started telling me "no it's not the same one" and "zoom in zoom out" and pretty much making up all these excuses to not just do the price match, not to mention the attitude. I even though I had a literal picture that showed the same one I ended up paying the $9.99, but if you're gonna advertise a price on the shelves, you should honor it also if you're having a bad day, don't take it out on the customer what the heck did I do to you lmao Update: I went to a different target and they honored the price, I didn't even have to tell them this whole story. The order pickup has been a disaster for the last year. It takes over 4 hours to get anything picked up no matter what day it is , no matter what time it is. I really like this Target location. Everything is usually clean, except I hate that the clearance clothes and the shoes are always thrown everywhere and they both look very messy, and the renovation of the store looks great. Very modern. The workers are okay, most do their own thing and don't ask me if I need anything, which to me is good because I hate when people are up my butt when I'm shopping. However, if you are someone who needs help with something in the women's clothes section, workers just stare at you blankly and its really uncomfortable. You can tell a few people hate their jobs. This is my friendly neighborhood Target. Well....maybe not so friendly. I did store pickup yesterday and the clerk at the pickup counter had the personality of a piece of drywall. Staff members tend to be hit or miss. The friendliest people I have encountered are at the Starbucks counter and the pharmacy. The store itself is beautiful except it can be disorganized in the clothing areas. Sometimes they do not restock the store in a timely manner. There are times where certain sections of the store are overpicked, and I can't get what I came to the store to get. read more

I'm very disappointed that Target is not keeping track of how many people are in the store at one time. I went there today at 2:00 and the store was packed! Long, long lines at the registers, without any social distancing markers on the floor. Groups of 5 or more people hanging around together. There is an independent cashier who is open for 5 items or less, but was surrounded by a group of teenagers for more than a few minutes, making it unavailable to other patrons. Really uncomfortable there, couldn't wait to leave. read more

I've always had a good experience at this Target. I also love that it's right next to Costco, making running errands easier. I also feel they have a better grocery selection than the store on Patriot. I can always find well priced clothes for the kiddos, toiletries, and a few extras I really don't need. They also do fun things for the kiddos - today they gave away the Target version of American Doll pets called Our Generation for free to anyone! read more

Still one of my favorite Target locations for bumping into singles. Strange that here there would be so many, given that most of the neighborhood is mostly family oriented. They recently did a store wide cleanse and redo of the layout in preparation of having groceries. Which I believe would now rename them as a Super Target. I like browsing the clearance racks which can be found at the end of most aisles. Most are unaware of these areas and the deals you can find. My most valued trip was when I walked out with three bags filled with trail mix bags and cleansers for my car which I paid less than ten dollars for. Some items marked as low as 80% off. WoOt. I waste so much time looking at deals. This location also has a Pizza hut station and Star buck's. read more

They couldn't complete my return. BUT ALSO they were so incompetent about it. The associate kept repeating 'It's expired. It's expired. You bought this in January.' I kept replying that the return by date is April and the policy extension is within range. She called an exasperated manager who was like 'How many times do I have to say that I'm sorry?' THE PROBLEM is that you don't explain anything! You could tell me that they extension is valid (wasn't it?). You could tell me why I cannot receive store credit (why?!). This would never work in other careers. What if I kept repeating the exact same words until people walked away? SMH. read more

This place took 4 HOURS to fill an order of 4 ITEMS. 3 of which were in the same section of the store! When I got there I was told it'll be filled in 20 minutes and they had me wait another hour. All this due to "short staffing" while there were 4 employees standing around gossiping by the self check out about what they ordered on Amazon. Never ordering or shopping at this target again. Where to start, Target has a had a history of incompetence when it comes to releasing shared exclusive Funko Pops! One of the biggest was last year during Star Wars Celebration. They were suppose to release a Holo Qui Gon Jinn on that Thursday, didn't happen. Then they announced it would be online only, nope. Then they changed the date to that Easter Sunday, when their stores are closed. Instead they put them on shelves the Saturday before and didn't update anyone. This resulted in people just wanting one Pop! listed at $15 to have to pay $70-$100 on Ebay. NOW The Guardians of The Galaxy ECCC 2018 Pop! was supposedly coming out this past Thursday March 1st 2018. No, talked Target employees at six different stores in my area, all telling me they will be sold in store on Saturday morning March 3rd 2018. Nope again. Then Funko themselves announced it would be on Target.com's website sometime on Friday March 2nd. A ton of people and I stayed online hitting refresh on a Target web page all day, then all night to no avail. I've been awake for almost thirty hours. The Target.com page https://www.target.com/p/-/A-53373863 still says coming soon. I'm investing & wasting my time with Target shared exclusive pops. @Target @AskTarget and @OriginalFunko will not answer customer's questions on twitter. They just keep saying "The Yondu Funko POP is coming soon, but we don't have other details to share at this time. Please check back!" I've been a Target customer for years and going to one at least twice a week. I'm done and I'll be deleting my Target.com account and I'm not going back to Target stores anymore. The shoe aisle is always a horrendous mess. It is unorganized with styles mismatched and placed in different areas. Before the renovation it actually was a little more organized to size and style. It was more clean in the shoe department. The renovation was completed some time ago so that cannot be used as an excuse. The shoe aisles since the renovation are too close together and cramped. A little more space and organization would be appreciated. Lastly, if customers want to, "haggle," and take up a huge amount of time they should be sent to customer service to, "discuss pricing." I do not mean the casual, "hey I saw a sign that said the item is onsale." Example: The lady in front of me asked, "what can you give me for that? " over a regular priced item. After that she proceeded to want to know why she has to buy 2 towels to get the gift card they were offering. "I only need one." She kept needling the cashier. It did not stop and she was clearly oblivious to anyone waiting behind her. Then she asked the cashier to get her the towels which are at the far end of the store after haggling so he suspended her sale. She refused to move. She also refused to give me space when I was using my credit card. While all the above is not the cashier's fault, I think a policy of sending a, "haggler," to customer service would be a uniform way of dealing with the trouble makers. On another note, I do like the Starbucks at Target. The cashier that waits on me is usually nice. She is taller, light brownish blond hair. Many of the associates are nice. There is one that has a, "stink face," when she sees my overloaded cart coming. I am not much for shopping a lot and try to shop 2 times a month. To be fair I get it. People have off days and can be tired. I had a ton of items in my cart. I don't haggle. I don't send the cashier or associates shopping for me while I'm in line because of others waiting behind me. I just put my stuff on the conveyor belt and pay. I gave the, "stink face," cashier another chance. No, she is like this. Unfriendly. I avoid her line. I stopped by to get some ice cream this time, there is construction around the store but it seemed cleaned. I did find the Ice cream I was looking Haagen Dazs and that was a plus. I did not require of any assistance and I was not offer one either. Overall I had an OK experience, At the register the lady checked out fast and I was out. THIS TARGET IS HORRIBLE! Don't order photos to print to this place because they have incompetent staff manning the Guest Services area. If their machine is broken, they don't inform you that your pictures will be delayed and don't even try to get help from them because they won't know what to tell you. I swear I heard the wheels slowly turning in their heads. Their management is non-existent or at least they pretend that's the case. I have two Targets much closer to me and the only reason why i went here was because it was on our way home and in the general vicinity of where we were going to be. I will not be coming back. The place was in shambles. I would have to say that maybe 25% of the store was decently stocked/neat/organized. Everything else seemed to be a disorganized mess. What really frosted my ass, was that there were three registers open right next to each other and the line was incredible! Someone deserved to get their ass kicked for this mess. I think that I could have jumped on a register and rang people out faster than the current staff were. I think if there was an inkling of sense of urgency in any of them, the line may have not been that out of control. read more

Compared to Howard Street Target, this is larger, better stocked, and neater overall. (At least, when I was there on a Monday afternoon.) It's worth a Zipcar trip to purchase necessities for zombie invasions (baseball bats, neosporin [not sure it'll heal that bite though], anti-viral tissues, stain remover, et cetera). I personally buy paper goods en masse here though. Costco is next door, but really .. do you need ten gallon bottles of windex? Not gonna work against zombies dude. I used to love this store. Ever since the remodel things are impossible to find, the layout seems designed to make you get lost. They've stopped carrying a lot of brands I liked to buy here. They let huge lines build at a single open register because they want you to use the self check out, which often has problems and takes longer than the long lines do. I buy a few staple items here, but avoid it as much as I can. read more

This Target was recently remodeled. The new version is nice and well organized, with an expanded food section, though it is not a Super Target. I like this store's organization as the clothing items are on one side and the non-clothing items on another, unlike some Target stores which put the clothing in the middle making it more difficult to locate particular non-cliothing items. I would greatly recommend this store over the Target in Evanston. The main drwaback of this one, as of many Targets, is that their inventorying leaves something to be desired and out-of-stock's don't get filled quickly. read more
