It wasn't raining, nor had it rained since early morning (it was late afternoon). We asked if they would remove the tarp so we could look at the items, fully intending to make a purchase. The clerk sped off stating he was going to get help only to return with a lazy employee who refused to remove the tarp because "it might rain". The location is so over stocked they have three massive, tarped areas in their parking lot and room for only two vehicles to park. it's a fire hazard inside the building and they are in no way interested in making a sale. The man I spoke with very rudely told me they don't do repairs if they didn't sell the appliance to the customer (the machine came with the house, we have no idea where it came from). He didn't bother to ask me what the problem was or suggest that we might need a replacement which could have helped him make a sale. We made some inquiries and brought in a plumber who determined the machine indeed needs to be replaced. Which we will do right away -- from a competitor down in Lewiston. And we decided to buy a matching dryer, too. Sorry, Howard Hughes, you just lost a sale because of your service rep. So much for trying to support local businesses.

Since he made us sign a a bogus contract that he neither followed nor kept his word about, we can't make an official complaint. Make no mistake, this sleaze ball will take advantage of anyone and everyone, especially during family tragedies.
