I have come to trust Costco with my tires and service. I will go out of my way to have them take care of my tire needs.

The new canzone in the food court is DELICIOUS! We are enjoying it for the second time. Still impressed. Perfect "pizza" dinner for 2.

First, I absolutely do NOT recommend their pharmacy. I tried to transfer pharmacies from Walmart to Costco, because I've heard they are amazing. Unfortunately, I had the privilege of dealing with a woman named Heather. Heather entered my insurance until TriState (I'm not covered by TriState, and put my SSN in wrong. I am covered under ChampVA (my mom is a veteran) so I have my OWN insurance card. She stormed up to me and asked me "whose card is it?" When I replied "which card, my Costco card or insurance?" She continued to say "...the card." There was more to my experience, but I have truly never felt so disrespected by a pharmacy technician. I was so excited to switch pharmacies too, but I will never consider coming to Costco for prescriptions again. Second, I come here probably 1-3 times a week. A lot of their best employees have disappeared over this summer. There are a couple ladies at checkout, one has purple hair and one has red hair with glasses and I absolutely adore them. They are both so sweet. But from my experience, some of the new cashiers have a really bad attitude. My one star is purely from Heather in the pharmacy. I watched as two employees quickly & efficiently filled the water bottle machine. They put the new bottles in front of the ones that were already in the machine. The machine pulls from the front not the back. I don't know if the machine for the water is chilled, but I would be really disappointed thinking I was buying cold water only to find it was warm! You should always put the new stock in the back so the older stock gets used first. read more

Very inexperienced group of guys that run this shop, went in for a simple rotation and they managed to ruin 2 of my studs on my left rear. They said they couldn't fix it and basically left me in a bind which I had to spend 400 $ to have them drilled out and replaced. Don't waste your time here, go to an actual tire shop. read more

Costco- pretty much says it all. I nicknamed it the $100 store, you can't walk out without spending a minimum of a $100. Samples - make for a nice lunch Really enjoy some of the Seasonal items they carry, like furniture or BBQ's and unique things. The downside is the product lines can change without notice, but I understand they are trying to keep prices low for their members. Costco costco costco what are you doing to me. Same exact items to the AZ store but with higher prices than AZ but lower prices to CA. Tucson AZ costco gas $1.89. Here gas $2.37... who knew Idaho prices would be so much more. Clean store not social distancing but masks are required. If you go home over the bridge, make sure you stop and bring a slice of pizza or a hot dog and soda to the homeless hungry guy to the right of the first light on the corner of Bridge St. read more

I was a member years ago and let it lapse because the nearest one was 60 miles away and there really aren't that many great deals. I decided to try their optical shop and got a great deal on glasses and the service and selection was excellent. I browsed the store and confirmed my earlier assessment of their products; hit and miss deals and no reason to get a membership. They don't sell a single piece of men's clothing that fits me. I wear 3XL and the largest they have is 2XL. Liquor prices are also high due to Washington taxes. Tires can be found cheaper online. Food looked to be of good quality but Winco is cheaper. Employees there seemed to be friendly and the store was clean. read more

Who reviews Costco on yelp? Well - normally not this guy, but I just got done buying tires from the tire department, and it was far enough above and beyond that I figured it was worth sharing. The short story is, I ordered the wrong size of tires, they took care of it, were friendly, knowledgable, completely honest and great to deal with. Not to mention that I saved over $400 vs. ordering from Tire Rack. Here's the longer version. I normally buy tires from the Tire Rack online - just so I don't have to deal with getting upsold and lied to, as seems to be the case at the vast majority of tire stores. Les Schwab has great service - but they don't carry Blizzaks, and their pricing isn't always the best. Anyway - for this winter I was all set to order 2 sets of Blizzaks from the Tire Rack, when I saw that Costco carried them. As it turned out, Costco was about $100 cheaper per set, so I figured it was worth giving them a try. A week ago, I got an email that the tires were in and I drove down to get them installed on the 1st of our two cars. Turns out, I'd ordered the wrong tires. Completely my fault. The guys couldn't have been nicer. The ordered the right ones, no extra charge, and told me they'd be in later in the week. Fast forward to today. It's mid-November, and one of our first snowfalls is forecast for the weekend. Which means that everyone and their dog is clogging up every tire shop East of the Cascades. I get on the phone with the Costco tire department, and they tell me, no problem, they'll fit both our cars in. We don't made it down there until about 6:30 pm, and they good-naturedly give us a hard time about making their lives hard. We walked down to Tomato Bros. and ate dinner, and by the time dinner was over, they were just about done. I've never had such great service from, honestly, anyone who was doing anything to my car. It's the type of thing you might expect in a small town, but not from a small town Costco. In the end, I did the math. By going with Costco instead of the Tire Rack, I saved $432 on two sets of tires. I expect we'll be buying our tires from Costco for the foreseeable future. read more

This Costco has everything that you'd expect, and a few products that I haven't seen at other Costco's. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. Unlike some Costco's on the East Coast, there don't usually seem to be huge lines to check out. Perhaps those self check-outs are helping with that so that people with just a few items can get through quickly. read more

Received a call from Costco management further explaining the "no paper towels" activity after posting the question to Costco.com. Appears that gas station consumers empty their household hazardous waste at the Costco garbage cans in California and during garbage can checks at waste disposal sites Costco was fined for disposing of hazardous waste. This prompted a Costco-wide ban on garbage cans at gas stations, which lead to removal of paper towels because there was no place to toss them. Kudos to Costco management who immediately addressed my question personally and also said there would be more employee education so gas station attendants would have the whole story and wouldn't have to supplement with their own ideas about what happened. As a consumer, I appreciate the whole story and not a partially fabricated explanation based on a sliver of actual known information. Asked why there wasn't a sign and manager said all signs have to approved by Costco management and this was new and sign approval hadn't happened yet. read more

It's Costco! A little slice of home wherever you stop to cool your Michelins! This Costco has been a wonderful place to shop. Staff is friendly and seem to be happy with their job. As always the cafe is fresh and economical. The tires shop is very professional and can remember what tires you bought last if you bought them here. These rude punks in the Photo Dept. need some classes on customer service. Went to pick up a special order & the lazy counter guy acted like I was killing him to look up our order. He was given all the info needed to look up the order but refused to look it up by the order number. He was so rude to us that I'll never use their service, EVER again. Save yourself some trouble & frustration and go to someone who can at least be cordial to you. Next time I'll use Walmart which isn't saying much. read more

I don't know what has happened at this Costco, but I have been treated so rudely a number of times over the past 2 or 3 years. Most of the employees are usually polite and/or businesslike, but there have been enough instances for me to start thinking about giving up my membership...seriously! I have shopped at a lot of other Costco's, most of them in California, and I've never had any experiences like the ones I have had in Clarkston. And the selection is a bit sketchy, too. Mostly the same old stuff, over and over again. But I did try something new recently...the red velvet cupcakes. The cake was oily and completely tasteless. The frosting was overly sweet and lacked the tanginess you usually get with a cream cheese frosting. It was just a big messy, tasteless pile of glop. To be fair, there are some things I buy over and over again, but all I'm saying here is that the pluses are starting to be outweighed by the negatives. read more

I bought a pizza at the Clarkston, WA Costco food court. It only had about half, or less, of the normal amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni. The crust even was different, not the same good flavor and texture, it has brown bumps on the bottom that we never noticed there before. The crust wasn't round but had big lumps sticking out of the edges.The flavor wasn't the same as it had been either. I hope it was a malfunction of the pizza making machine and not a change in the recipe! Many years ago, Costco seemed to have changed the crust to a biscuit type dough, ugh! What's not to like about Costco? Great prices and buying in bulk, that's America in a nutshell, people. I've visited quite a few Costco's, and you might say that I'm a Costco junkie. But, the Clarkston Costco really stands out. What gives it that sparkle? The employees. These women (while there are some male employees, they're the exception and not the rule. It's probably an 70/30 split) feel like friends. They ask what you're going to be cooking, how your family is, comment on their experiences with different products you have in your cart, and almost always have a smile on their face. Part of it could be that this Costco is located in a relatively small town. Lewiston/Clarkston together have about 40k people. So, what do you have to do to unlock these reactions? Often, not a thing, they'll start the conversation. But, all you have to do is put a smile on your face and just ask them, "How ya' doin'?" Another notable is the distinct lack of crowds (except on Saturday and Sunday during the afternoons). Normally at other Costco's I've been to, the crowds are incredible. The best time to go is about an hour before closing in the evenings or during the weekdays. Also, all of the food samples are out during the day. Where else can you get lunch for an annual fee? This Costco also offers 3 lines of Self Check-Out, where you scan. This is very handy if you only have a couple items, but some morons bring their whole overflowing cart to these lines. Note that if you have big items that you can't/shouldn't lift or a specialty item (like a ring or something) that you should go through the regular lines. The regular lines go pretty fast. This Costco offers a Tire Center (which I have no experience with), Food Court (cheap hot dogs/polish sausages and a drink, salads, pizzas, etc), a great optical department (Dr. Hattan is the optometrist. I got new glasses, lenses, an eye exam, and contacts for a year for around $250), pharmacy (the line is usually short), and photo shop (excellent pics, quick, for a great price). read more

I went to this Costco for the first time. When I was checking out, a worker took my card from the cashier and would not give it back to me. I spent a long time arguing with customer service. Finally I found a store manager and she returned my card. I received the worst service here. From now on I will drive to spokane from now on. read more

Great place to shop. The only small detail that I have observed and informed management about is the food sample people don't seem to recognize some of the simple cross contamination risks that I know are asked in their food handler test and information sources. For instance, I see them gloved up to handle food, that is good. But when they sweep the floor, pick up the trash on the floor, and handle anything except the food they must remove their dirty gloves and put on new ones. I don't see that happening. I would like to see an overseer who can remind the servers to keep the food they serve clean. read more

It's Costco and Costco is great. I would give it all the starts but I've been to one in Sterling,Va and they had amazing Italian sausage in the food court. I emailed the company about how much I loved that Italian sausage-I mean it had legit friend onions and peppers-and they still don't serve it in Clarkston. Also, I know someone who worked there in college and they treat their employees very well. And the samples! If I could just get that Italian sausage it would be paradise. read more

I have been a long time Costco customer. I recently placed an order online for a Christmas present. I called into the customer service call center and instantly I received a message apologizing for the long hold times and package delays. That is not good enough Costco, I expect that as a business you think ahead and employ the proper amount of employees to take care of your holiday shoppers. A approximate 66 minute hold time to handle a question on a order is something I would expect from a company that has a history of poor customer service. I will not order a Christmas present again and take the chance that it may not show up. Employee the proper amount of people to handle your customer base! read more

Earlier this week I went out to start the car, the battery was dead. I got it jumped and ran to Walmart and the battery was going to cost me $99 plus tax, so I go across the street to Costco, the battery with tax came to $91. The young man from the shop told me that company rules stated he couldn't help me install it but that he'd lend me the tools to put the battery in. No biggy, it wouldn't be the first time. Not only did he carry it out but cleared it with his boss and installed the battery. I give kudo's to this Costco! I read several comments about rude clerks etc, the only time I've ever experienced rude was from the front end Manager. He has acted like a total ass on occassion. No biggy I just go around the fool! read more

Costco has a lot of great merchandise. I wish that it was easier to get help there when you are looking for something in particular. You have to walk all the way across the whole store to find someone to answer your questions. I love to get a sandwich there because the prices are super. All in all, I will continue to shop there for house-ware items and occasional food items in bulk. read more
