We purchased a new car stereo with xm and a screen from Steiner's for our truck as we will be using it to pull our new 5th wheel trailer cross country. The salesman was aware we would be pulling the trailer. The 5th wheel hitch is in the bed of the truck. Steiner's installed the xm antenna at the back of the cab which will be in frequent conflict with the trailer. We just left there asking them to move it to the front of their cab. They want $120 to do the move! A man with the last name of Steiner told my husband they don't have time to ask 100 questions. I prefer to buy local, but we will not be doing any further business with Steiner's. read more

I had a screen,2 12s and new wiring put in my car and when we first set everything up I made sure to tell him "that there is problems with the wire I don't know what will need fixed" and he gave us a price of around $1,400 as a "WORST CASE PRICE" so we thought nothing of it. we put brand new $100 speakers into the doors and rear deck correctly a day prior to bringing my car down and when waiting we got a call about them asking for us to pay another $600 for wiring and new speakers. After telling us that the price that they gave us was WORST CASE. I hope the people down there see this and do something about it because it's not right. the rear ones we got To work but due to the head unit they put in we have no power to the speakers read more

Have the stones to tell someone you don't want their business, I'd respect that more. Small town minded uncouth experience here. The customer service in this establishment rocks. We bought an entertainment center from them 3 years ago and they could not have been more helpful getting it set up for us, answering our questions, etc. The other day I needed a new lithium battery for our Harmony One remote and they ordered it in, and I got it in 2 days. I bought a gift for my husband while I was there, and then a few days later he wanted to go and check out a blue ray player. They had a great selection, good prices and he got just the one he wanted at what we consider a great price. Scott gave us all the information we needed to get it set up when we got home and sure enough, it was a snap. In all seriousness, the employees at Steiner's could give a class to a lot of other retail businesses in this valley on how to treat customers. We are going to be customers for life, I'm sure. Yes, you can probably get a particular component you want for a little less at Costco or Walmart, but you will never get the customer service aspect Steiner's provides. We love these guys! read more

Went in to buy a car stereo because mine didn't work with my phone. I have only ever had radios that came with the car, so I was a little worried I would be overwhelmed when I went in. The salesman was quite helpful is explaining the many options and recommending what would work best for my car. The price he quoted was reasonable and I appreciated the good service so I scheduled a time to take my car in. They said their shop was quite busy (which is a good thing to hear, because busy must mean they do good work) so they scheduled an appoint for about 10 days out. I went in on Friday to have the stereo installed, they did good work, and setup my cell with the bluetooth before i left. They even called me when my car was ready. Plenty of places say they'll call but never do. Overall good experience. read more

I went in looking for a decent pair of earbud headphones and the salesperson was helpful in helping me pick out a pair that he said were great and blocked out all noise, plus they had 3 different sizes of earbud covers. I stated I would like to try them out and purchased the pair. Well, no shocking, the earbuds were not sound proof in my ears in any of the sizes and they didn't stay in my ears even with light walking. I went to return them and a different guy said, "Oh earbuds are non-returnable unless they're defective." They have a sign stating certain audio equipment is not returnable but nothing about headphones/earbuds so how was I suppose to know their return policy; other stores allow returns on items customers are not satisfied with! They would do nothing to help me or suggest anything besides trying to get me to buy a new set of differently sized earbud covers, which I'm sure are non-returnable if I hate all of them! I felt like they were just trying to make a sale and not giving me all of the information about their products or return policy. I will never go back here and they are much more expensive than any other electronics store in the valley, which is false advertising! Terrible! read more
