We bought all our appliances, LG Refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and laundry tower, from Deranleau's recently and everything worked great from selection at the store (with Russ) to delivery with the very nice young men that brought the appliances to our cabin. I would use them again anytime and probably will. read more

They have the best service and appliances. IT IS DANDY!!! The management and deliveries are great. We have used this store for thirty years! No one beats Deranleau's. read more

We had issues with a new Whirlpool top load washer a few months after purchase. Andy went above and beyond offering help through their in-store service department. Service tech arrived on a Tuesday, ran some tests and talked to a Whirlpool tech and determined from the tests that the motor was overheating. A new motor was ordered and arrived by the end of the week. The tech was back the next Tuesday (one week) replaced the new motor, ran the tests and it was fault-free. I couldn't be more pleased with the response of both the store owner and the service department as far as communication, scheduling, determining the problem, parts delivery and motor replacement. 5 stars from start to finish. We had issues with our new Kitchenaid dishwasher. Andy went above and beyond to make sure the issues were resolved to our satisfaction. Andy also talked to Russell, which addressed the issues in my previous review. Thank you Andy. read more

Deranleau's was dispatched to handle my warranty-covered repair. I can only describe the process as extraordinarily difficult. Pearl Celli, in the service department, was recalcitrant at absolute best, and performed the bare minimum to ensure that the repairs took place. I had to file two separate claims because they refused to complete the repairs. After the second repair was completed, they refused to give an invoice (needed to cover the food loss for the insurance company). Horrible experience. read more

Great experience buying my mattress here will be back for the next one and will recommend to all my friends and family.

The heating element in my dryer went out and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Deranleau's have a repair service now. Technician Nick Celli arrived on time and it didn't take him long to replace the part. He also mentioned that I needed to have the outside vent cleaned and he handled that as well. I couldn't be happier with the service I received! read more

I have had nothing but an absolute nightmare with Deranleaus. After I get the last piece of what I ordered, I will never spend another dime at this company. We went into the Lewiston store in June and spent a hefty amount of money buying a stove refrigerator washer and dryer and two beds and a dishwasher. The customer service is by far about the worst I have ever experienced. When asked to speak with the manager about all that we have had to endure, we found out that Dan Jimenez is the manager and he unfortunately is the person we've had to deal with as our salesperson as well. We walked in there knowing pretty much exactly what we wanted and they didn't have to "sell" us anything. It gets horrible from then on. For two of the pieces that we ordered, the ball was majorly dropped they were said to be in the store when they weren't causing our dishwasher man to get extremely upset at them because they said it was at the store he showed up and they are dropped the ball on that. Same thing happened with the fridge. By this time we are seriously irritated fast forward to when it is time to get our beds. After I complete fiasco nightmare with that, I still don't have the correct bottom piece to my bed. I won't bore you with any more, but seriously go somewhere else. They are terrible at returning messages and any communication. read more

WOW ! my experience was completely different....Having owned several biz over my lifetime, i certainly look at customer service with higher scrutiny / regard than most.....i left lewiston HD boxstore in a huff because the DW they sold me 9 months earlier has been waiting for a service guy from spokane for MONTHS....i went over to Deranleaus to just buy another one and the sales guy says....why dont we just fix it,,,,its under warranty...i can have a guy there next Thursday...LOL i said ya sure why not, after all it was a possible solution where big box has been failing miserably. WELL, Nick arrived on time, was pleasant and knowlegeable....found the problem,,,,reflashed the bios on the board and IVE GOT A WORKING GE DW AGAIN !!! no charge, no muss no fuss. For that type of service, i will NEVER buy an appliance at big box again. Next day Pearl called to follow up on the appointment and satisfaction survey .....I was so impressed i went in next weekend and bought mama a new french door refrigerator....they delivered the next Thursday, installed water connection, put my front door back on....no scratches / dents / or attitudes....i would have hired any one of these people and felt lucky to have them on my payroll....hopefully these other reviewers became satisfied, but inlight of my experience....i would have to conclude theres more to these storys than is being presented....employees come and go, possibly this very competent group that i worked with is the culmination of finally finding a good bunch to implement the owners philosophy read more

The customer service is terrible at this location. The employees have always been rude and were watching a football game instead of serving us. Go elsewhere. read more

I purposely waited a few days to write this view, because I wanted to make sure they followed up with the sale. I am very impressed and I now understand how they have continued to be a strong local business in this area. My wife and I loved the selection along with the knowledgeable staff. I will be buying my major appliances from this business going forth. read more

Don't expect good repair service. Called to repair cooktop I purchased there. Came and needed to order parts. Never came back. I called and they said they would call back and never did. read more

Really good lip service at the front end but once we ordered our range we were told - 'It will deliver next week'. Next week comes along and then they say ' Oh sorry we didnt call but its still another week out' Another week goes by and now it has sat in their building for three days before they even get around to delivering it. Disappointing to say the least If you ever have to special order something from them I would say shop around first and see if you can find a place where the item you want is in stock Otherwise get ready to wait a while and get the runaround read more

Terrible service. I called ahead for a car audio install, and when I showed up neither the installer nor the necessary parts were there. An hour and a half driving wasted and a bunch of indifferent sales people just standing by. They have lost my business, and there are better alternatives I've since learned. read more

I have done business with Deranleau's for 28 years and there are many reasons for my loyalty and highest recommendations. They carefully match my needs, with detailed explanations of pros and cons of each appliance I desire, they advise when manufacturer promotions will be offered, their prices are competitive and offer package prices when you are doing a whole house. They stand behind their products and my satisfaction. They went out of their way to take care of a washer I had installed in a remote location that died shortly after (my) installation. It was a long way to go but their repair crew took care of my problem without a labor charge. This is what you get from a long-term loyal relationship with a local supplier. The Box stores and the internet will not take care of you. Shop local! read more

I purchased a duel fuel range and have had nothing but problems. $2200 for it then another 650 for the install, which Deranleaus had assured me was simple to do. I don't think $600.00 is an easy do. Then another $800 for the tank and having it installed. No one explained anything about any of this.. Now its been going on 4 months and the burners still don't work . 2 of them not at all No one wants to accept responsibilities for it. Meanwhile I am out $3500 for a stove that is still not totally functional I have called everyone that has had anything to do with it and they just shine you on I would not buy another thing from them, or GE read more
