From the moment I called for measurements & a quote... til the end of install, Georgia Carpetworks were great. I felt good staying with a local business, and got better customer service than big-box stores. They came out same-day for measurements and a quote, brought samples... worked quickly and were so kind & professional. I went into their showroom a few days later to look at a few other colors and price points. Lots to choose from. Got it (special) ordered and within 2 weeks had our install scheduled. They also have in-stock flooring. The installers were great people... did a fast and perfect job. My house looks great, prices were competitive, and overall I'm really glad we went with Georgia. read more

Visited Lewiston store today. NO ONE wore face masks. Appalled with the high Covid numbers in Lewiston, that store employees were so lax. Not even an attempt to put on a face mask when we entered the store with our masks on. Assume they are just as disrespectful about quality of workmanship. Will never buy from this store again. read more

If there was a minus star I would have added it. Worst service I've ever experienced. I paid cash for my flooring and waited over 3 months for a partial install. Paid the installer after that days work and they haven't been back to finish going on 3 weeks now. I have called the store to no avail, sent to voice mail with no return call and wont be going back in due do the discomfort I felt as a troublemaker wanting the job i paid for finished. It's one room! My point is if they have the time to start another job they have time to finish what they started. Buyer beware. read more

Product and installation was as promised. We had an issue many months after installation which was determined to not be caused by Georgia Carpetworks and it was taken care of by them at a fair price. Communication was slow at first but they made it right and I would use them again. read more

Bought some in-stock ceramic tile and liked it so much we went back for more to do another room. Not another customer in the store and we parked in front. No "no parking" signs there but apparently it was a big no-no. As my husband paid for the tile the guy who rang up the purchase made a huge deal about my husband parking where he did. So, when we buy the carpeting and pad for our entire house this spring, and all the tile and granite for our kitchen, we will NOT be returning to Georgia Carpetworks. Did anyone ever tell the employees there to not peese off the customers? Especially when they're spending money?? Which, supposedly is what you're in business for??? read more

There was a mix up on what needed to be ready for the install and I apologized and set up a new time that works for them. After that was fixed, the times were not met, and now we are going on 2 weeks from when the install should have happened. After getting in contact with an employee there about getting it done. After a few minutes of the employee telling me that this was my fault, which the initial install day wasn't good because I wasn't told what to have ready and I even took the blame for what I was not informed, I told him I need it done today or tomorrow or I need a refund. He said he would talk to the boss about giving me a refund if there wasn't an opening soon. I then asked if I can have a time line because I don't trust their business model. He laughed and told me not to talk to him like that. He proceeded to talk about how it's not his fault and he shouldn't be talked to like he wouldn't follow through with what he says, and then told me I don't have the right to question how they do things. I said I need to speak to his boss personally about the employees (his) professionalism and treating their customers. He told me he is professional but he wouldn't be questioned and talked to like that, and told me he wouldn't give me the bosses number and I can't talk to a manager about the problem. The Lewiston store is very unprofessional and I would not recommend anyone there. read more
