This company is wonderful! My husband is building our house by himself and while he has a lot of experience and is very meticulous, there are some things he hasn't done before. Concrete was one of those. The guys from the Pullman location have been amazing!! Justin came out twice to look at our site and make sure the trucks could get where we wanted them to go. When the time came to pour, Red and Art where absolute heroes. They jumped right in with their boots and started showing us what to do. I don't know how we could've done it without them. I talked to Doug on the phone and he told me I could fill my pickup truck or small utility trailer with 3/4 washed rock for the minimum $20 charge. When I arrived, he was also very helpful in explaining how a newbie "little guy" could navigate the place successfully. After reading a few mining safety pages (Atlas is actually running a mine on site), I signed the safety form and then Doug sent me to the scales and on my way to get my 3/4 ton of gravel. Yes--Atlas customers are mostly "big guys" but if you listen and follow their instructions and safety rules then, you'll do fine. I called to ask how much a yard of 5/8 gravel was. I was given a decent quote so I went out there. First off no one was in the office so I had to wait a few minutes. I told the woman I wanted a yard and a half. They loaded me with 9/10 of a yard and then charged me $20 for it. Something they neglected to tell me on the phone, there is a $20 minimum. So not only didn't I get what I asked for I paid more than what I was told. They definitely are geared towards 'the big guy', not 'the little guy'. I won't go back. read more

Moved into area from State's west side, home builder used Atlas for his/our needs and afterwards we continued using Atlas for multiple additional needs/projects and from the girls in the office to each of the drivers our service was first rate. We would use them again for any aggregate needs and would recommended Atlas to anyone. read more
