Very polite. Asked her If he can turn something in he found. He could barely walk. Has a veteran thing on and that ride cashier told him to GO TO THE BACK of the line ! Are you effing kidding me ??? She pissed everyone off. You probably lost five good customers today. I'll be making a phone call about her. Never coming there again. Also contacting ace and canceling my account

Over memorial day weekend my Weber table top grill broke (the first time I used it) while I was…read morecamping at Chief Timothy State Park. I went to Schurmans to find a replacement, and bought a less expensive "Char Broil" model thinking it might work better. after returning to camp, assembling and using the new grill I discovered that it was less than efficient. At this point my children had ripped the box to shreds and I couldn't find my receipt. I called Shurmans and explained what had happened and they said, no problem bring it in and we'll take care of you...and they did just that! I ended up getting another Weber and they just took the old grill back and charged the difference for the new one, no questions asked! I also needed to do a repair on my camp trailer that required a small amount of lumber (which they don't carry) so they graciously gave me a pallet from the loading dock to do my repairs. I year prior I came to Schurmans and found all the materials I needed to build a motor mount for my canoe (including a free pallet) for like $5, so that's two camping trips in a row that were saved by Schurmans True Value! They carry an awesome selection of hardware, tools, sporting goods and all sorts of other cool items and the sales staff is friendly and polite. I am so Impressed with this store I will return the next time I'm in the area just to buy something I don't need! I love this store!!! Thank you Schurmans True Value!!!!

Sometimes the selection…read morehas been scant (there might be only one choice/brand), but usually there is some of each part we have needed to get the job done. The employees have been extremely pleasant, helpful, and surprisingly knowledgable. Recently when my husband was looking for a particular size and style of water line, the Home Depot employee took his time to make sure we were thoroughly satisfied. His knowledge was deep, and he gave more perspective on the options. It is also refreshing a few days later to see the employees who have helped us, and they give eye contact and make us feel like they personally remember us. I have been impressed that when I've asked where to find something, the employee immediately and personally takes me there, and doesn't just point me in the direction and say good luck. The only times when I've not been personally escorted to the item in question have been when I've quickly asked someone who was already busy helping another customer at the moment. They must fall asleep at night memorizing aisle #s and indexes of the store - it's uncanny how they know where everything is.

He told her they are not going to do anything about it either. She said he needed a receipt to return it and he told her he had it at home and could bring it in. She said they don't take returns. He said he was trying to explain how the product wasn't great and broke after a short time and she didn't care. As he was leaving, another male cashier made a statement that seemed threatening and out of line. My husband said he told them that he will not return to this store and will go elsewhere. The manager didn't seemed to care. Every time I've been there the store is empty with no customers in it. Maybe people would shop there if there customer service was better. The employees always act like they don't want to be working there. Maybe management sucks.
