We had the pleasure of working with Granite Works after a very vague estimate from a competitor. When I walked into the showroom, it was warm and inviting and Myrna was amazingly cheerful and helpful. Their estimate was to the point and easy to understand. Install was awesome. Chad Dammarell and Jon don't schedule any other jobs that day and treated our kitchen like their own. Their craftsmanship, pride in their work, and attention to detail are hard to find these days, proven in the seam, silicone edge, and hand-ground curves. If anyone is looking to upgrade their home, boat, or rv, they're the ones to call. read more

From the Business

Specialties

Granite Works specializes in Cabinets and Countertops. We offer full design services and also have a wonderful selection of flooring, tiles, hardware and more.

History

Established in 2007.

The business started in 2007 with owner Rob Davis operating it as Custom Rock and Stone. New owners Chad Dammarell and Jon Ruhga took over the business in August of 2018 and renamed the company as Granite Works. Specializing in custom remodels the two are turning Granite Works into the premier one stop shop for all things stone.

Meet the Business Owner: Chad D.

Chad Dammarell has spent his entire life in the construction industry. His father is an engineer and long time superintendent and field Forman. Growing up Chad was highlighting blueprints as early as 6yrs old and began stocking materials and scrapping out jobs immediately. By 13yrs old he learned how to do T-bar ceilings and was working all summer vacations and breaks from school. At 17yrs old he graduated and entered the Carpenters Union as a metal stud framer and dry-waller. He journeyed our at 20yrs old. It was during this time that he first got his love for granite. His father was remodeling their kitchen and the granite crew would not do a specific cut. Therefore his father Vern took matters into his own hands. Upon seeing how simple it was he began to fabricate and install many granite kitchens using Chad and another man. Granite turned into a full time side job which proved to be profitable. Chad began running and installing the jobs himself and is now in his current position.

She immediately found what we wanted online, even setting up an appointment so we could view a piece in Seattle ourselves (she ended up being totally right, but I had to see for myself). Our whole experience has been positive. Tiffany and Mark went out of their way, over the top, to make sure we had granite exactly how we wanted it: Marks multiple visits to help us decide what size of sink, letting us review the layout on the slabs, including us in layout choices, patiently answering all my many many questions. Mark's experience and expertise is so apparent. He works hard to make it perfect. If you need granite, and new friends, go and talk to Tiffany and Mark. Their customer service is amazing!!!
