It started malfunctioning in the early part of the winter during that super cold stretch. On off - on off... I sure didn't want it to die during the night. I panicked and called a different company out to ck the heater over. Whoever Mike's Mechanical sent out forgot to clean some basic little temperature probe. The new service guy hooked up a meter, up came a code and it ID'd the problem instantly. The new guy cleaned the probe and the furnace has been functioning fine ever since.

In the end even the lowest quote they provided us was $500 more than another electrician had quoted us. Use caution and learn from our mistake!

I also had them add a plug in near another light switch. They charged me for 4 hours labor (according to my cameras they were only there 1.5) and some minimal parts that came to $402. Seemed pretty outrageously high for what was done (double what I expected). So now I just won't call them again for anything else in the future at those prices. Maybe there is a minimum 4 hour charge? I wasnt informed of that, if that is the case.
