Our furnace stopped working on a Friday, of course. I called Kinzer expecting that they would be too busy and that I'd have to wait until the following week, but they had a tech to my house within 15 minutes and he had our furnace running within 45 minutes. These guys seriously come through EVERY time. Cannot recommend them enough. read more

We have in the past paid for a yearly maintenance plan for our A/C and Furnace. This service was for the A/C spring. In the past, we were told we had a small leak. The technician didn't notice or see any sign of a leak. The technician was helpful in addressing our concerns and issues. Great value for the job done. read more

Asked for my ducts to be cleaned, the tech screwed up royally. Duct work was in concrete, so he cut open the duct from the furnace to the ground and started blowing out air before sealing anything off. Nasty pinkish sandy grime all over the house. My tenant moved out and I lost thousands of dollars as a result. I was hoping that the clean ducts would make it possible for my tenant to stay until I could afford to repair the ducts. Instead, I had it vacant for 2 months while we financed the repairs. When I complained they cut my bill in half but the savings was a drop in the bucket compared to my loss. read more

We were visited for an annual inspection and preventive maintenance by Jake from Kinzer. Upon arrival, Jake went straight to work after locating the system components and did a complete and thorough inspection. He gave the system a clean bill of health and was in and out in under 30 minutes. He was friendly, knowledgeable and completed the work expeditiously. We have requested to be added to Kinzer's annual maintenance rotation for our HVAC system. read more

As a recent Avista gas outage customer, my Hot Water Heater and Gas furnace, both did not relight when Avista first came by to restart them. So Avista put me on the call back list with no ETA. I called Kinzer Air for a service call the next day. Brett came and diagnosed several bad parts (Pilot-Module, fan & Pilot coil) and stated they would likely not be available due to the age of the appliances. He spent most of the service call trying to convince me to replace both. I asked him to try to find the parts as replacement, was not an option. He took pictures of the model numbers and said that he would have his team try to locate the parts. I sent him additional pictures of the specific parts with actual model/part numbers, the next morning. Brett had his receptionist call me back that afternoon to tell me that they were unable to get any parts from the manufacture and it would not be safe to operate the furnace with aftermarket parts. The next afternoon Doug from Avista came by to do a call back. Doug turned the furnace system on and it came right up with no problem. He said that there was likely an air bubble causing trouble on the initial previous try's. Doug then proceeded to inspect the furnace system and checked for leaks. He stated the system despite its age was a good working safe system. I personally called the Hot water heater manufacture and was given the original part number for the Pilot Coil I needed and was told it was still available from any of their distributers. I ordered it and installed it, which fixed the Hot water heater issue as well. Doug from Avista returned and inspected it as well, again functioning normally. I don't believe Brett Kinzer even made the effort to look for my parts... Not sure if it was a case of pure greed or if it's a case of Brett doesn't know his "Volt-Meter" Or an "Air Bubble" from a "Hole-in-the Ground" He tried to take advantage of a bad situation and sell me equipment I didn't need. I came home to an air conditioner not working on a very hot day. I called Kinzer Air due to a recommendation from a friend. I spoke to Brett Kinzer. It was after normal business hours and Brett said he would be right over. He showed up 15 minutes later and fixed my air conditioner. He text me the next day to see if everything was working, which it was. That's what I call great customer service. I would recommend them to anyone. Unfortunately I used Lazer Air Conditioning out of Clarkston before I called Kinzer on a different problem. Lazer Air did sub-par service and charged an arm and a leg and did not fix the problem. read more

I had Kinzer Air install an AC unit a couple of years back so when I needed some duct work for a ceiling fan I gave Kinzer a call. Kinzer's office staff is quite helpful and informative about how much they will charge for their work, getting on their schedule is fairly easy. Communication between the office staff, James, the installer and me was great. James listened to what I wanted and went out of his way to make it happen. James' work was competent and professional. His customer service exceeded expectations. I would recommend Kinzer Air for your HVAC needs and commend Kinzer for have a right dab hand like James. read more

Brett and his crew are the best! They put in a new furnace/AC unit in my home on 19th St and I could not be happier. They were professional, courteous and absolutely top notch. When I moved, Brett and his wife were stopping by to pick up some item I was selling and when she identified herself, I asked Brett to come in and show me where/how to replace the filter in this recent home purchase. Great service! Called after hours at 6pm on a Friday evening, after coming home from work to a cold house. Talked to Brett Kinzer, who "had his head in a furnace", but will be there as soon as he is done. Sure enough, he arrived an hour later and had our furnace running again in about 10 minutes!! No problem with the work or the furnace, very disappointed in the fact I received a $417 invoice from the electrical contractor a month after I paid the quoted amount by Kinzer. Lesson learned, get EVERYTHING in writing. I should have used the lower bid and avoided the hassle. I can't say much for Brett, he is a salesman and I can assure you I won't use them again unless needed. read more
