I would avoid using Cheetah. They charge a dispatch fee of $90 before providing an estimate. Then they do a "safety inspection" regardless of the job you need help with. This takes quite awhile. Only after that do they present several quotes ranging thousands of dollars and including work they propose based on the inspection. In the end even the lowest quote they provided us was $500 more than another electrician had quoted us. Use caution and learn from our mistake! read more

They charge $89 for an estimate which should have been our first clue. We were getting a hot tub outlet for a new house. We had a hot tub at the previous house so had an idea of what it should cost so were stunned when their estimate came in at a ridiculous $5500. We said no thanks and they called the main office and said they would do it for $5000 if we agreed today - tactics usually reserved for high pressure auto sales. We paid the $89 - an expensive lesson and then got a free estimate from Gropp for $2100. Don't use these "Cheetahs" unless you want to get taken to the cleaners. read more

Danai was incredibly helpful, and showed a bit of resourcefulness in getting us scheduled for an emergency assessment/remediation of some pretty ugly wiring in our home. It's the busiest time of year, and she was able to get us in in a pinch, and the technicians that performed the assessment/evaluation were professional. We have scheduled with them twice, and each time they have canceled. The first time was because of weather and was completely understandable, but they said they would call back to reschedule and never did. Finally called them back and got on the schedule again. Said we would be first on their list for the day so I took another day off of work. They called again and said it would be early afternoon. Then they never showed so called in late-afternoon and the person said the electrician did not show for work, but they would call back and schedule a day when they would definitely show up. I had written a review a bout cheetah electric with one star the owner finally called me and listened to my issues he came to the house and I showed him the problems that I had with the can lights that the dry wall on the ceiling was damaged on 4 of the can lights and he offer to pay for that I told him no I will take care of that he had his employee install the other bathroom fan and he vented them properly to the outside of the house so the flex pipe is not sitting on top of the insulation anymore and he put external vent covers and it looks nice he also did not make me pay for the additional fan since I did not charge him for the ceiling dry wall read more

I have had BCL or Cheetah Electric do several electrical jobs for my home. They are amazing. They are very professional, clean and offer great recommendations to update outdated items. For example, they brought a clean rug to put near the door they came in and applied booties before entering the house, as to avoid tracking in dirt etc. I hired them to repair a major remodel , where the electrician had been very unsatisfactory and left us with more problems than before the remodel. I would recommend them highly and I do not give 5 stars readily. read more

Expensive!!! Slow!!!! 10 x 6 foot bathroom remodel (1 ceiling fan, 3 light switches and base board heater), and 1 small ceiling light and 2 switches in adjacent hallway. Granted it took far more work then expected in order to fulfill new code requirements....I get that and can maybe understand the $2200 to update the electric..... BUT then charge an additional $655 to connect 1 ceiling fan, 5 light switches, 3 lights, and one base board electric heater???? The electric was already running to them, all wiring and everything, just needed to get hooked up. Really? $655???? They blew us off several times about when they'd be coming. They were scheduled in advance and the electrician would come and leave in an hour or two, drawing out the work order to 3 weeks! 3 weeks....one small bathroom. The electrician left greasy dirt prints inside the brand new tub and on the wood flooring....he brought stuff to clean it up, but why make the mess in the first place (perhaps they lost their booties that were described by another reviewer). I asked them to let me know when they'd be in and out of my house, as my partner works out of town so no one would be home.....they came and went with no notice, ignoring my request (they knew where house key was from previous visits). I only knew they'd been in my house when I saw the empty soda can left sitting on water heater in my under-construction bathroom. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, the services provided on the Palouse are often far less than quality in the few experiences that I've had.....with little competition, you can do whatever and charge whatever. read more
