Or does it say more about society (or our area), that you can't just be nice to random people without them thinking the worst? So after giving them many chances, we've decided no more. They also have a rack of free maps of the area, which are great to have, especially if you're new in town. And then there's the actual merchandise. Not being a hardware store connoisseur, I wouldn't know how their prices compare to other stores, but I do know they've always had whatever I was looking for (plus some neat gadgets and accessories) at prices I was willing to pay. And the store layout is easy enough to peruse. The customer service I get here is always helpful, and the employees are all very sweet and friendly. They're never pushy, but they always offer assistance (which I did sometimes need, and they seemed more than happy to help me out). He stated that it was the second busiest day of the year due to the opening of the farmers market and that he didn't know how much we could get done. I sent my wife over to begin talking about her vision. The whole time, she felt as though she was an inconvenience. His overall tone, with me and with my wife, was that he was annoyed that we were bothering him. We proceeded but we left feeling rushed and unappreciated as customers. We ended up canceling, went to Sam Dial for the same process, and had a great experience there. I do not recommend this place. They may be for you, but they were not, and are not, for us.
