I enjoy the fact that they truly only carry the highest quality stuff - you get your money's worth. I'm talking paper, tools, machines, scrapbooks, stickers, embellishments, glitter, tape, glue - everything! They even have space to work on projects. The gals are more than helpful and have more creativity and knowledge than I can handle! They are able and willing to help everyone from the best and most creative to those just starting out. They have amazing ideas and all kinds of inspiring samples to check out. (Also, they have classes for the creative-challenged such as myself. You learn a ton, they're not expensive and they're FUN!) They help me design my wedding invitations and printed them. They truly have helped me all along my scrapbooking journey - starting with the first gorgeous leather bound book I bought. Thanks to them, I've been able to save so many memories - from the birth of my niece, to my wedding day and honeymoon and beyond. I've also decorated half my house and had a few creative, cost-effective Christmases thanks to them (great ideas to keep in mind)! Keep up the good work, ladies!

Very interesting set up...you enter the front door and pass through the four shops and come out the back door on the next street. Two very friendly and interesting ladies run this unique shop. We always pick what to purchase when we arrive but plenty of people seem to pre-order on the website. My favorite time is when they have a good variety of (heirloom) tomatoes available. I notice more cars in their lot during pumpkin season so it seems like their pumpkin patch is quite popular. Nice bonus: They accept (and even prefer??) card payments. The UI farm stand was cash only the couple times we visited so I was happy to see that the WSU stand accepts cards.

It's nice to see singles magic cards out for browsing. They've got board games that can be rented to play. Hog Heaven hosts different events throughout the week and month. But we were in today to just casually play with friends and check out the shop. This would be a perfect place to host a birthday party and they do host them here. The atmosphere is extremely family friendly, the staff doesn't take kindly to swearing.

I liked that the seats aren't in one single long row like typical theatres but are broken up into smaller sections (no more interruptions when other people need to scoot by to use the restroom/leave. The pre-movie ads are actually pleasant and they don't delay the start time of the movie. The theatre has cute lights in the shape of flowers on the ceiling and I believe there are vintage movie posters on the back wall. The facilities seemed clean from what I saw. They don't show the latest releases but do have some recognizable movies (ex: they're showing 80s movies on Tuesdays right now and will be showing Whiplash later this year I think). The Confucius Institute at U of I also screens Chinese movies here sometimes. I only paid $6 for my ticket...very reasonably priced! The audio was a bit too loud (only noticeable when the soundtrack of the movie came on) but other than that, I had a great experience. I'll definitely be back for more shows. Add them on Facebook for the latest updates! Also, you can rent their marquee space for things like birthday wishes, proposals, etc...such a cute idea!
