My favorite Target location in the Valley! The store isn't perfect, but tends to always be the tidiest location I visit! Selection of items is strong as items I am seeking are typically available here when they aren't at other locations. Staff has been friendly at every encounter I have at this store from the service desk, to the check-outs, and even on the sales floor. Prices may vary from online but are comparable to other locations across the Valley. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Staff standing around at the self checkout not paying attention to the customers that need help. No thanks.

Let me say first of all I love Target! Couldn't do it without it. BUT, I no longer buy anything electronic there because I do not want to get ambushed by the cell phone person who does not want to take no for an answer! Target, please remove these people from your premises. I can't be the only one that feels this way. read more

I usually like this location and drive to it because it has a lot of stuff available especially for drive up. But Kelly with drive up is so rude! Not even an hello and she was super rude. I would keep her behind the counter and not in contact with customers read more

Gotta say that I'm pleasantly surprised they have nice, clean bathrooms! Not all places keep up with it!

The service was great, very nice cashier, went for my grandsons birthday present, wide selection of toys and priced well, and store was very clean. read more

Carrie the manager as she labeled herself was rude the electronics guy Wilson had 2 customers he was dealing with and being I seen 2 other associates one being the manager Carrie was rude I asked her if she could help me and she pushed it back to Wilson I asked oh you can't help me she said looked at me annoyed and rolled her eyes and said what do you need help with so i began to tell her and she ignored me and proceeded to call for a Corey over the radio and once again pushed it back to Wilson not sure how hard it is to assist a customer but I myself am a Manager for a big company and always put guest/Customers first regardless of what the day was like. Being rude to your customers is a no no as a manager lead by example. Help your associates out when needed with their customers. And loose the attitude. read more

When we went to Target just prior to Christmas, the clothing section especially was WIPED out! However, we did find some things that we needed in the right size. The cashiers were kind and helpful. An employee in the clothing section was a little snappy, but it may have just been the stress of the season. Another employee was yelling Christmas greetings down the aisle, so most employees were having a great day! Choose Target next time you're in town! read more

Reina did amazing with my Starbucks order she always had a nice attitude when making drinks ! She always had a nice smile when speaking with customers and is able to make drinks fast and to perfection ! She values the importance of making sure your drink is right and goes above and beyond for your drinks ! She deserves the best ! read more

Extremely disappointed in Targets latest Pride campaign displayed in the front of stores. I will not be shopping there with my children until it is all gone. I should not have to walk past naked cartoons on shirts with my youngest while my oldest is trying to sound out all the sexual "puns" to shop for groceries and household essentials. I love this Target but Target as a brand missed the mark entirely. read more

The "new" Target after the remodel has become our weekly shopping experience. The products offered are fresh/new/plentiful. The staff seems exceptional and are more than helpful and cheerful. I am so glad we have a Target of this quality close to home. Keep up the good work. It's a pleasure shopping here. read more

I picked up the in-store courtesy phone because I needed help finding something. The shelf was empty, no dot nor sign illustrating that the product was out of stock. Several employees walked by while I had the courtesy phone in hand and never offered help. The phone rang 30 times and then was disconnected. I informed the Service Desk employee that I wanted to notify the Store Manager of the lack of service. Employee stated all the managers were "on a bus, in a meeting." Also, there were long lines at the front of the store, and no one called to help. I'm a former Executive at Target and have never experienced such poor service. read more

WORST TARGET STORE EVER! -Store smells of urine -Bathrooms Filthy -Horrible selection of Toys -Rotten vegetables -Rude cashiers -Unhelpful customer service I will never set foot in this store. While leaving the cashier told me to check my receipt as she may have double charged me. I can come back and get a refund if so. WOW! Thanks! Because my job is to check your mistakes. read more

Really bad customer service, employees ignore me, they kept passing by whit out greeting me, I went to pick up an order, I was in line and they were so busy putting stuff away and not even saying I'll be right with you. read more

I love coming to this Target. Every time I enter through those doors I see how nicely everything is organized and how everyone is happy to assist you. I have been to other Targets before and I run out of these because it is a hot mess and some of the employees aren't as happy to help out. I've brought my mom to this Target and she drives the extra few miles just to come to this location! read more

A couple months ago I bought granola bars that were out of code by a few MONTHS. I have tried to buy the same granola bars at least 10 times since then, but all the ones on the shelf are expired, some of them going on 4-5 months out of code now. I've tried to notify them, but they do not care - they just put the same ones back on the shelf. Today I did my first online order/pickup thru them and they somehow managed to screw my order up twice in one visit. Seems there is no system in place to inventory what they actually hand someone when you do a pickup. Terrible shopping experience. Definitely be avoiding this store in the future. read more

This is the Target closest to my house and I do shop here from time to time. There is often not enough employees on the floor to help if you have questions. The store itself is pretty clean. I wish the women's clothing section had some more selection to it, sometimes an ad comes out for the cloths and they either don't have the advertised items or they only have size small or XXXL nothing in between. Pretty disappointing when I drive 5 miles to shop here. This store does have a small grocery section which I don't pay any attention to as it's not enough to do your weekly grocery shopping. The holiday section was kind of sad looking this year a lot of things were merchandised very poorly and the had one type of tree skirt to choose from. Stockings were on every aisle placed between random items instead of having them all together to be able to shop through (the reason I didn't buy one for myself and fiancé) the ornaments were messy and and the candy/cookie section was nothing to really look at or shop through. I used to get Keebler almond crescents here sadly they don't have them anymore. The curtains are also hard to shop, it seems whomever is ordering these isn't ordering more of the popular ones to keep in stock. I've been there a few times for curtains and sometimes you can only find one panel in a certain color and then you see all the other styles fully packed. Very frustrating and inconvenient. Today I went through the decorative pillow "section" most of the pillows on the aisle didn't have a match to them and there wasn't many to choose from at the start. They had one I liked but needed two.. another item I passed up today. The health and beauty section however is always fully stocked and very nicely displayed. The household items are usually cheaper than the grocery store so I do buy all of my cleaning supplies here. There are normally enough cashiers so the lines don't get out of control. Overall there are a lot of improvements I would like to see at this particular location. I will continue to shop here only because the other target is very old, run down and small. read more

Target - A ton to choose from - Department Stores Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Target, Walmart, K-mart, they're all pretty much the same. Each one is a big box store with plenty of choices and good prices. My wife had a Target card and uses her cartwheel discount to snag extra savings on many items. This makes Target a cut above the rest in my book. read more

It's funny how people complain about Walmart being slow. Three checkouts 10 people deep I think I celebrated another birthday just waiting in line do yourself a favor go somewhere else. read more

Was just in the store trying to buy a movie that they displayed at a reduced price. There is an entire rack of them at the reduced price . They REFUSED to honor their own advertised in store price because they claim it was mispriced too early Their mistake, but would not honor it. No integrity at that store. Manager refused to come out and talk to me , only would speak through a radio to high school aged girl. Pathetic. read more

I had an issue with a target gift card and had to go to customer service to get it sorted out. An extremely polite and helpful woman named Barbara spent about 10 minutes fixing my card and was one of the most polite and upbeat people I have come across at this target. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I was in line hours before the Black Friday sale started so I could get a 55" Element TV. I got the last ticket. They were only supposed to be 1 per household. But I saw ONE guy get 5 of those TVs. The woman behind me in line was there for just that TV and got screwed because one guy got 5. This is absolutely unacceptable. read more

Had to wait 25 minutes for someone to get the key to unlock a $15 flash drive. I understand that they may have been needed, however when I asked the worker if they had them yet they went into the back room and came out with them in two seconds. Leaving me to wonder why they couldn't have just done that in the first place and wasting my time. read more

Most Target stores in general are just ok, probably just a step or two above Walmart. The only problem I have with this particular Target is that they don't have a lot of stuff in stock compared to the other Target stores I used to go to when I used to live in Chandler. I wanted to buy some Monster Energy drinks straight from the refrigerator already cold. I had to pretty much wonder through the whole store like I'm on some kind of Easter egg hunt just for me to be able to find what I was looking for. Most stores even Walmart usually have the Monster Energy drinks in the front where people check out. There are also not that many employees on the sales floor so asking someone for help is usually a challenge. read more

This is my local Target and I love it. Both my daughters worked at this target at one time or another. It is very close to my house and within walking distance if I so desired to do that. I love all the holiday and then clearance items they have from time to time. I was able to buy a Dyson vacuum for $175 off what everyone else was selling it for. I shop target for almost everything. But recently learned their prices are not as low as the grocery store on some items But overall great place to shop for all yor needs read more

Wash your hands, you shouldn't haft to be told! It has bothered me big time! How an employee could come from a toilet stall, and not wash their hands is beyond comprehension! I REALLY LIKED THIS STORE, BUT NO MORE! This was a most enlightening visit, if or when this store is brought up in conversation, ..... Your character is how you behave, when you think no one is watching! I don't want to be an Agoraphobe, but all of you are kookie bugs! AAHHHHH!!! I CANNOT COPE!!!!! read more

Target is like my home. I find a deep since of passion and love for this business. I have an endless supply of love for this chain, and I am always up for a Target run! UGH I hate this place. It seems to be the place to go if you are an overburdened mother with a brood of unruly, loud, children. You walk in and are confronted with the screeching of dozens of un-monitored children. it's like a frickin' Chuck-E-Cheese in here. Walmart is more calming; that's how bad it is. Is this Target's fault? idk. all I know is I'm avoiding this place like the plague from now on. read more

If you have any pigment on your skin, it is best that you find a different target to go to.

Very clean and organized store. We were asked several times if we needed help finding something. Good customer service goes along way.

Target stores seem to be very similar in layout, product placement and obviously, pricing--so the differences between them do not usually stand out to me. This store is in a great location. For the most part, the staff seems helpful although the general attitude seems to have diminished in recent years. Their lane management also does not seem to be on par with what it used to be as there is usually a wait. However, overall I like this store. I can say with confidence that I will seek out a Target before succumbing to the dark side of Wal-Mart. read more

I am a huge Target fan and this is my closest one. But this is the worst Target. The store doesn't not have as much stock as other Targets. The employees are not very friendly. And the fitting rooms are horrible! They remind me of a truck stop restroom. The changing rooms are the smallest, coldest stalls. This is also the only Target I have ever been to that you have wait for an employee to unlock a fitting room door for you to get in. Oh and please do something about the smell when you first walk in! I think it's the old carpet smell mixed with the popcorn of the snack bar. I usually avoid this target, especially if I'm shopping for clothes. read more

This is My Target. Haha! I love my pharmacist, I know the layout...for all things household or retail therapy, it's my go-to.

Filthy bathrooms, I mean filthy- oh and no toilet paper. The cashier was very friendly and nice though. Won't go again.

What is up with Target? I was there on Friday night at 9:00pm. The store closes at 10:00. There was ONLY self checkout. The manager was just standing around watching people with FULL shopping carts including people with early Xmas gifts struggling to do self check. We had a full cart including food items and when I bitched about it a young clerk said "I can check you" and she did...... but never turned on her light and left after checking us. All the while other people were lined up at self check. When I asked the checker why they would do that I got the usual "we are short handed tonight." Geeze..... she was free and so was the manager who was standing right there. Sorry Target. I like your chain but this store has very bad management. read more

William and Cindy were extremely helpful helping us find something. Great customer service and even though we didnt find what we wanted we left without feeling upset. read more

Nice large store, bathrooms were clean. Staff was friendly and the check out was pretty quick also.

Epic fail, but the staff is nice. Serious flaws in the inventory reporting system sent me to two different stores only to find the item was not at either one in spite of their system saying it was. Better to ditch a crappy, unreliable system than torment customers with false information. If I owned stock I'd sell immediately, since they are making it way too easy for Amazon to kick their butts. Management is free to contact me if they would like some free advice as to how to fix the problem. read more

The inventory here sucks. Where are all the women's clothes? They are like non existent. And the ones they have are horrible. I used to shop at a target in California that was totally different. Such a disappointment!!!!!!!! read more
