I placed an online order this morning at 12:30 am. For pick up. I kept checking my status all day and it kept saying processing. I finally checked at 8:30pm and it still said processing. I thought maybe it was because they were busy being that it's a Sunday before thanksgiving. But over 8 hours is not acceptable. No email or anything letting me know it's delayed. I tried calling the store and no one answers. I finally chatted with customer service. I was told the store was closed. At 8:30 on a Sunday when the store hours online say 11pm closing. The chat rep assured me that the store was closed and as a token of my understanding gave me a $5 gift card. How is that going to help me. I had ordered food for my children that I needed by tonight. Now it's late and I cannot go out. This is very unacceptable. read more

What I saw and experienced at this target today was an absolute disgrace! This was my first time coming to get a Stanley Cup. I was told last week by all the employees that the new cup release for today would not be online. I did what was supposed to be right. I got up at 4am to get there as early as I could. I was first in line. By the time the store opened there had to be 50-70 people behind me. I have never seen something like this before in my life! Little did I know the cups became available online at midnight and people were able to by tons that these local stores had to fulfill! Meanwhile those that actually spent the time to get up early, wait in line in the freezing rain and cold were told they could only get one cup! The doors opened and it was horrible! People from the back of the line were allowed to run to the cup area. Push everyone out of the way like linebackers. Knock children over. The target employees set this entire process up to be a huge failure! They make you run to the back of the store like a jerk to get these cups. Instead of just keeping in the front so you can grab and go. No! It was awful and never again. Then to only be able to get one cup, to find out by the time you get to the register that one cup is damaged! And there is NOTHING I can do about it. They are all gone. NEVER AGAIN! These target employees should be ashamed at themselves! NEVER again will I shop at a target. And NEVER again will I buy a Stanley cup. read more

The target in Menifee has decided to not accept checks without any notification on the door or even telling their cashiers before I wrote a check for a nearly hundred dollar purchase there after an hour or more of shopping the cashier did not know that the store had changed it's policy just a couple of days before. It is my feeling that this is discrimination affecting senior citizens who are the majority of check writers amongst their shoppers! so seniors beware go to Walmart they still accept checks, they still honor Seniors which in my opinion Target in Menifee no longer does! I called the corporate office and they said it was a choice of the individual stores to either accept checks or not! read more

Overall, clean store inside. I can't say the same thing for the outside, which to me is important because it makes a great impression. The trash cans near the door are usually overflowing with trash. I'm sure this is something that can be controlled a little better. The inside is usually clean. I've walked in on spills before, but the associates are on top of it once they're notified, so that's a plus. This store is pretty stocked. I hardly ever go in there and not find what I am looking for (except during the holidays). For the most part, if you ask an associate, they will also help you find what you're looking for and see if they may have it in the back. Besides the outside of the store, the thing that makes me score it 3 stars is that they usually lack open lines/registers. Usually there is a long wait for one to help you check out. The good thing is that they now have self checkouts (the bad thing is some just don't know how to work them and can delay the process). If they hired more people or even just had more opened registers during peak hours, they would do so much better. read more

This place is horrible. We live about a three-minute drive from this store and have even walked to this store from time to time, and it's always a disappointment. The products are constantly out of stock and the shelves empty. However, out of convenience, I always give it a shot. Never again after today. Today my husband placed an order for pick up. Now we decided on pick up service because I recently tested positive for COVID and so did our daughter. The only one not positive and not stuck in the room is my husband but he is still trying to be cautious and wants to avoid the stores until after my daughter and I have recovered. Well after the order was placed the app showed the order was processing and would be ready for pick up in about 2 hours. Well, after about five hours it was STILL NOT ready. I get it, I'm sure many people are using this service right now but what makes this even more aggravating is the fact that I called their only number +1 (951) 723-6151 twenty times (yes, 2 0) ...tried all different departments and NOT ONCE did anyone answer. We are very dissatisfied with this service, to say the least. We obviously canceled our order. It's a shame that this target, so close to home, is such crap. read more

This is a great Target located just about 8 miles away from where I live. Me and the family come here often to shop. Targets always seem to have the best looking clothes for sale. Most of their clothes look better than majority of designer clothing I must say and it's all for a great deal. The store is well maintained and clean for the most part. The staff here is always very friendly and helpful. The parking at this location is so huge that even on busy days there's still half of it available. One of my favorite things about Targets is that they serve Pizza Hut products inside. I love to get me some breadsticks so I can eat while I shop around. There is also a Starbucks inside this location which me and the wife take advantage of when we are done. The shopping center that this Target is located in is great as it has a good variety of stores, not mention an In-N-Out right in front of the Target. Wow!! What has happened to Target?? Empty shelves for products readily available at other grocery retailers. 9AM and only one cashier open with a line of seven customers with very full carts. Self checkout has a line of over 18 customers waiting not including the eight already scanning their purchases. Whomever is running the front end is either incompetent or hiding to avoid handling a better guest experience. What a shame and what an embarrassment Target has become. The only saving grace to this location is the extremely nice and helpful team members that work in the bakery. If it were not for them, I would not waste a second of my time in his store. read more

I've always liked coming to this Target because it's a Super Target and it's close to home. I've noticed that a lot of their items are low in stock. I do use the app for pick up sometimes but I also like to walk around to look for deals. Overall it's a great Target and the staff is always nice. I have bad social anxiety and do not like being around public so I went through the order pick up and she made me feel so comfortable and calmed my anxiety. We just moved to the area less than 6 months ago and I do a lot of drive up at Target because I'm a mama of two little girls under the age of 3. When I have the time to go inside and shop alone I do too. This target is usually my go to for having the best inventory of products and they rarely cancel items on my orders which is a bonus in todays times. The store is always clean and shelves well stocked. Items are easy to find and the store is easy to navigate and shop. They're baby and toddler sections are some of my favorite in the area. Their drive up is fast and I rarely wait. An overall solid managed retail store for sure. read more

I have lived in the community for years we are talking 30 plus years and on my last visit to the Menifee target I was left with a loss of words to the treatment I received. I recently bought a new house and thought what better way to decorate mind you I shop at target at least 2-3 times a week, Well how wrong I was. No more than 15 min into my shopping experience did I notice I was being followed. At first I was extremely alarmed but I continued to shop with an awareness that someone may be following me. As time passed I noticed this man was absolutely following me isle by isle and then I saw it! His walkie and it was with out doubt loss prevention. I ignored it at first bc whatever who cares. I'm not a thief so follow away but then it got worse. I was BEYOND uncomfortable and embarrassed that me me of all people was being harassed by this target employee. I had a cart full of stuff as did almost every person in that store. So I decided I would attempt to make contact with this individual. Well as I approached him he LITERALLY RAN AWAY. I was floored Absolutely floored that this man who thought he needed to follow me ran like a child who was caught So I continued filling my cart up with great finds. Welp no more than 10 min HE WAS BACK following me like a stalker. I again tried to talk to this man and vegans to follow him but shocker he ran away yet again. Now mind you I made no attempt to go near an exit or did any kind of behavior to indicate that I would walk out this store with out paying. In fact I didn't even have a mask. I was not trying to hide my face what so ever or did anything suspicious anyways I still continued to shop and then I heard him talking about me to other employees so at that point I was very upset. He didn't care this individual was profiling me beyond words. I didn't see him bat an eye at any other white people with carts just as full.... Nope just me. Well after I could not handle the embarrassment any further I ended my shopping visit early because I was almost in tears. Went to the register and paid. I spent almost $400 in just that one visit, which is very common for me. After I paid I went to Starbucks to get a drink and the nerve of this guy..... HE WAS STILL FOLLOWING ME EVEN AFTER I PAID. I grabbed my phone to record me attempting to talk to this guy and as I yelled out EXCUSE ME SIR he pointed at me to to the other gentleman standing at the door and literally ran into the loss prevention office. I am disgusted that you allow your staff to act in such a behavior.... Oh but it doesn't stop there. I went home In tears out of pure embarrassment. I decided to call the store and just voice my concerns. Well that was a waste of time. The young lady who said she was the highest manager on at the time made no effort to apologize and at one point began laughing on the phone with co workers. when I'm telling you as an adult female I was embarrassed and belittled the last thing I want to hear is you laughing. All I needed was 10 min of your undivided attention, then you can go about your day. She just kept justifying why I was followed. Well your cart was full she kept saying..... and??? Everyone's cart is full in target but not one white person was harassed just me.... She offered me a gift card which I absolutely declined! I don't want a gift card I want to be treated with respect as I shop in my community! She asked me to come back to talk further and I said no. Just please have the main real manager call me please and then she hung up and then I had realized she didn't get any of my information. I figured contacting at a store level would be a waste of time so I called the corporate number. The gentleman on the phone was amazing. He listened to me as I sobbed on the phone at the embarrassment I experienced and even told me this location has had this issue before ( and remember this is a reordered line so what he said can be heard again) he pulled up my account and agreed that I spend LOTS of money at this store and indeed paid almost $400 on my last visit. He offered a gift card and again I declined and his apologies and ensured me that someone would follow up with me well that NEVER HAPPENED. So I went early the next day and walked In to talk to manager. She apologized and took my information and with in a few hours called me back. Now while appreciate how professional and amazing Candace was, I was not happy with her explanation. She said the loss prevention stated that the reason I was followed at such lengths was bc I had a full cart and was shopping in home decor and there is an emergency exit near there so is EVERYONE who shops in that area harassed and followed and made to feel uncomfortable? I was given advice to not go anywhere near an exit. So now I have to drive to the next city to shop at target or order online I don't feel comfortable stepping foot inside the menifee location for fear of harassment. read more

Once again, TARGET ISNT THE PLACE TO GO IF YOU ARE DISABLED. I filed a complaint and have heard nothing back. I'll be as quick as I can. First.. EVERY EMPLOYEE WAS 10! I got to Target at about 11am on a weekday. There were about 4 of the battery operated carts.. this was a good sign I'd have a fully charged battery. No... I had ONE DAY to try and cram in what Christmas shopping I could. 6 hours and a 5th cart later, I had had enough, but wasn't rude to anyone. By the time I gave up, my physical pain was very much off the charts. So I finally gave up and went to check out, and I briefly explained to the cashier that I wanted some kind of compensation for what had occurred while shopping... or trying to shop. A couple of the ladies that helped me with exchanging carts came over in surprise I was still there after SIX HOURS! They were top shelf women and they apologized just as they all had the first, second, third etc.. exchanging of carts... I told them thank you but this has gone way past "sorry" after getting the 5th cart. So someone got someone to "handle" my complaint... I expected either a 10% discount on my nearly $400. purchase... or a grift card of equal value. My former employment was around $300k so 10% was nothing. Well... as I chatted with the ladies that had helped me, both started to look down the checkouts, and turned around and got out of there quick, so I tried to see what they were looking at, and to my surprise, here comes some war-torn, Jabba the Hut, dressed as if she was working at an auto disposal company... She saw me and instantly, before she knew anything, copped an unglued attitude.. I barely got 3 words out of my mouth and she flips her hand at me as if I was some kind of peasant and she was queen.. and stormed away. Never even allowing me to speak... now as a disabled person, WE learn just how nasty people can be... we tolerate and tolerate because it's so much damn work to just get ready to get out of the house! I'm not gonna give a company my money after already having my ONE day to Christmas shop being F'd up and then deal with some slob with an bad attitude. She saw me in the cart and like I said copped an attitude as if we disabled people just bitch all the time. It infuriates me to think what WE disabled have to put up with! So I left my nearly $400. purchase on the table and rode off and left. But it hasn't ended... I called corporate filed a complaint. I was told I would hear back from "someone" in 5-7 days. That time has come and passed with no response. I cannot help but wonder, after being in a service industry for years in my younger days, just how LOW places like Target are allowing their employees to stoop. Cuz Jabba was horrific. I also want to repeat... The ladies who helped me, were tip of the sword and they were so refreshing to have their kind help. TEN STARS!!! ZERO for Jabba ZERO for Target The ONE star is from Yelp. And, no, I had no other opportunities to get out and shop again as that's just how my disability is. Not one gift was I able to give. Never been a huge fan of this store for grocery shopping and years ago I filed numerous complaints with the manager, regional manager, and even Target HQ. So, I was shocked to have a delivery of food over the weekend via Shipt and only 4 or 5 items was out of stock (of a $265 food-only order). And those items included a huge selection of vegetarian and vegan items at fair prices, stuff I never heard of before and can't wait to try for the first time. They even have prepared and seasoned jackfruit, which is amazing so I don't have to figure out how to make the ones I have in a can. After recently doing Instacart orders for Stater Bros and Ralphs (which were out of lots of food items), I decided to give this Target a third chance. I hope whatever they are doing right continues because I really like the food products they carry. If you place your Shipt order directly from the Target website, you can use your RedCard for your payment and get 5% off your order plus other Target discounts that might not be available if you order from the Shipt apps. However, I am actually going to forgo those discounts on my next order because the Shipt app is much faster and the platform is better than the Target website! read more

Employees Discriminate!! Lets keep in mind I live right next door to this target. Walking distance to be exact. I am a new mom and have made it a ritual to get out and have a healthy walk and clear my mind by shopping at this target at least 3- 4 times a week. I am hispanic, and again new mom..not gunna get dolled up for target!! My baby is now 7 months old. So all the stages she's been through. Food, sensory toys, snacks etc and the obvious medicine and baby necessities.. cool baby gadgets and useless things to waste your money on as a new mom..( things for moms to feel pretty) ...I could go on and on. To get to my point.. I come here too often, its my get out of the house with the baby ritual. It feels amazing. Sadly I can't say that anymore. 3 TIMES NOW I have been FOLLOWED around the store by one of the stores managers or employee.. didn't have the guts to confront her, so I don't know her position or name. I mean followed the whole freaking time. From corner to corner. Its embarrassing and offensive. Don't you have loss prevention for crap like that?! Why the hell are you going to go out of your way to make a shopper feel freaking uncomfortable. Only ONE register open? - It's a Disneyland worthy - one LONG line! And the self-check out was by NO means a "fast pass" - BAD call - no one wants to wait - so I didn't . MICHELLE IN THE BABY DEPARTMENT. Hands down the best worker at Target in Menifee. She constantly goes above and beyond to assist as she has shown me numerous times. A stellar performer who obviously takes the mission seriously and cares about her work and the company she works for. Update Feb 2021: For God's sake update your scalper prevention. Restrict purchases of Trading Cards, PS5s, etc, to a specific number per person. Make people present ID. Don't just let people clear out all the shelves of everything so they can sell it on eBay at a high markup. read more
