These stores are clean, well organized, loaded with so many things without being over crowded and they seriously have the most friendliest and most helpful employees. This was the first time coming to this location in the 10 years we have lived this way, I even walked out with two rare plants. I got another rare plant at the Menifee location, it's just crazy they have these beauties at your neighborhood grocery store.

They were borderline going bad. From 2019. My bad for not realizing that it is pretty old for a Chardonnay. So I guess some of it is on me. But I would think they would know what it tasted like. Don't buy wine from here unless you know the label. The popular brands they sell at highly inflated prices you can get for much cheaper at Ralph's or Albertsons . But the ones they sell that you think might be unique and interesting not sold at Ralph in at Woodson's are absolutely not!!

The Easter Aisle at Albertsons (Spring, No. 2026)…read more The automatic doors sigh open like the first warm breath of April, and suddenly you've stepped into a pastel wonderland. There, beneath the fluorescent skies of your neighborhood Albertsons, Easter has quietly arrived in all its glorious, sugar-dusted splendor. Towers of chocolate bunnies stand at attention like tiny confectionery sentinels. Bright foil-wrapped eggs glisten in woven baskets, each one a small promise of hidden delight. Jelly beans in every shade the rainbow ever dreamed of, marshmallow Peeps in cheerful rebellion, and glorious spiral-cut hams resting in their Sunday best, ready for the long family table. The flower section bursts with fragrant hyacinths and tender lilies, their perfume mingling with the distant scent of fresh-baked hot cross buns. Plastic grass spills from every display like spring itself has escaped the garden and taken up residence in Aisle 7. One pauses here, basket in hand, among the dyed eggs and chocolate treasures, and remembers simpler times--when Easter morning meant baskets, sticky fingers, and the quiet thrill of discovery. Albertsons has bottled that feeling and placed it neatly between the produce and the dairy case. It's not just groceries. It's Easter. And for a brief, shining moment, the supermarket becomes something almost sacred. A small resurrection, right next to the checkout. Price: A modest $29.99 for a fully loaded Easter basket worthy of the occasion (or $49 for the deluxe version with the spiral ham and fresh lilies). Far less than the memories it creates.

I also tried their piña colada smoothie at Café Cardenas and it's huge, it tastes great for a great deal. My only complaint is the unclear pricing/self-checkout attendant for the mandarins. So one day I was here and wanted to get manadrins. There wasn't a price posted, so I sent a guy there to ask for me. He told me $1.29/lb. When I rang it up at self-checkout, it came up as $1.99/lb and when I told the self-checkout attendant there that it should be $1.29 - she said the guy I asked had asked her and it's $1.99, it's what the system says. Other places with good customer service like Ralph's Murrieta would apologize, trust my word, and adjust it. Bad customer service from Cardenas - and the only reason they got 3 instead of 4 stars here.

After seeing this store while driving on the highway, hubby and I decided to go and check it out…read more Upon entering the store, we noticed there were two different types of shopping carts for customers to use which were orange or green as well as a dash cart option. Hubby asked employee for more details about the different shopping options and the employee told him customers could shop the "normal way they" pay via self checkout or with a cashier or do the "dash cart" option. Hubby was told that the "dash cart" option was for Amazon Prime members who had their account connected to their bank account. After hubby confirmed his Amazon Prime bank account information, he was given a special cart which allowed him to scan our I'm while shopping for a completely contact-free experience As we walked down the aisles at Amazon Fresh Murrieta, I noticed that some of my favorite items cost substantially more there than elsewhere (e.g Veganaise is $9.99 at store I usually shop but was $11.57 at Amazon Fresh.) Hubby loved scanning his items while shopping and hearing the "ding" sound to signal that the scan was a success. When arriving at the salad bar and hot bar, I was pleasantly surprised to see allergen listed above the hot and salad bar food, I was disappointed by the small amount of vegan friendly bar options which consisted of ingredients to make a salad, vegetable stir fry, an Asian inspired chopped salad, and dolmas. I will admit that there was a bit of a learning curve when using the dash cart for salad bar items but luckily, an employee was nearby to walk us through the process. During our shopping trip, we learned that whenever you plan to purchase an item from the "salad bar," you have to select "add food or code," type in "salad bar," place your box in the back of the cart to have it automatically weighed, then place the box of food in your cart. Though this technology is cool, there we're times when the cart gave an error that we didn't put the item in the cart but this was easily fixed by pressing a button confirming all items weee in the cart. The ambience in the store was pleasant with several employees stocking the shelves, clear digital signage in the aisles, and wide aisles to accommodate several shoppers. My main pet peeve at Amazon Fresh Murrieta was that the store grouped vegan frozen food mixed with non vegan food. I personally would prefer to have vegan frozen food separate but understand that this might not be possible due to freezer space constraints. As hubby prepared to pay for our groceries, he was extremely pleased when he walked through the dash lane and exit, was checked out contact free, and the cart presented him with the choice of if he wanted his store receipt emailed to him. Overall, we both liked the shopping experience because it was interactive and thorough but disliked having to confirm that items purchased were actually in the cart. Likewise, we and would like to see more clearer signage in the hot bar/salad regarding discounts since we were told by an employee that food from there areas were reduced in price during 6pm-7pm but didn't see a discount on our store receipt.

Sometimes you just want a certain amount of a product and that is the best way to go. They have a fresh sushi bar! Unfortunately they are always out of spicy tuna so I haven't gotten sushi there in quite a while. If they had spicy tuna on the shelf I'd buy sushi every time I was shopping there. One thing that I like about the produce department is that they have fresh vegetables. They're vegetables are not inexpensive but they're good and I like that they always have eggplant. I never see artichokes there though. Their fruit department has something left to be desired. The only consistent tasting fruits are apples and oranges. Most of the time their offerings of berries and tomatoes are tasteless or old. That being said, this is still the best place to go for most of your groceries. You will save oodles of money if you shop here on a consistent basis. It's awesome that it's an employee owned company! You would think that would give the employees a better attitude but unfortunately there are not that many smiling faces working there. I wonder what goes on behind the scenes with management. All in all, I sure hope WinCo isn't leaving the area anytime soon. No place is perfect and despite some of the issues they have I would be very sad if I couldn't go shopping there anymore.
