My mom and I came into this store to have balloons blown up that we had bought at Party City and since we were traveling from Laguna Beach we needed a 5, 0 and two gold star balloons blown up for my cousins surprise 50th Birthday. The very kind young lady named Kyra could not have been more kind and helpful. It was busy, however nothing fazed her about our balloon request. During the whole duration she made us feel welcomed and that we were not a hassle. I only wish that there were more people such as Kyra who knew how to be helped and the ins's and outs of fantastic customer service. I hope Kyra gets recognition that she deserves as a wonderful and helpful employee that she is.

Ralph is a great and convenient spot for finding last minute groceries or just getting some snack and hanging out with friends. The employees here are very nice and helpful, and will happily take time to help you find items you are looking for. Although Ralph's does have a very wide selection, they do unfortunately do only an ok job at keeping things in stock this does not make this place bad for me it just is somewhat annoying for them to have one thing one week and then not restock it. But overall if you are looking for last minute ingredients for a recipe or just going to browse for snacks you should definitely try out Ralph's off of Washington ave.

Buyer Beware: 39 cents, really? Not.

Buyer Beware Ralphs you are such a good, community, friendly store. Why the deception? I've been shopping here since 2001. Your clerks are excellent, polite, refreshing, helpful. But... Tricking people on prices? Why? You should make it clear at least -- maybe say: 79 cents a pound but with (that annoying code) its 39 cents. While recently purchasing watermelon for my elderly aunt, I saw watermelon at 39 cents a lb; not 79 cents as what I was actually charged and later discovered when I got home. What's the purpose? Making the customer jump through a hoop to get and then show the checker a code at check out from their phone? When I discovered I was charged 79 and not 39 cents I was irritated. Why not just put a fair price on the product for sale? Its not bringing people into the store like their coupons do; it's a quest to trick or bait and switch; false advertising. Sorry Ralphs, please improve customer relations and respect, and just show the real/fair price. Why would you want to do that to your customers? Trick them? It is manipulative. But ah.. that's what large companies do. I will say to their credit. I called that evening about this issue and talked to Herb. He was understanding and agreed to reimburse me the $6 difference.

Third time in two weeks that the Deli worker is too over worked doing prepping to help clients looking for expensive slices meats.....Never again, there is too much competition in this grocery store world! Sorry but I really don't want to waste my time while deli guy is bagging 12 chicken and he's on number 3 ! Then I get to checkout and get to deal with a dirty conveyer belt! During Covid it got wiped after every client? Went to management expressed the frustration and got look? You know the look? In one ear out the other!

Ralph's is the west coast Kroger. I love this store because it's always so clean and staff are always so helpful! They have good deals as well. The day I went in there was a $5 pizza deal similar to Costco. Never waited in a long line and self checkout moves freely. Even the parking lot stays clean.

The Easter Aisle at Albertsons (Spring, No. 2026)…read more The automatic doors sigh open like the first warm breath of April, and suddenly you've stepped into a pastel wonderland. There, beneath the fluorescent skies of your neighborhood Albertsons, Easter has quietly arrived in all its glorious, sugar-dusted splendor. Towers of chocolate bunnies stand at attention like tiny confectionery sentinels. Bright foil-wrapped eggs glisten in woven baskets, each one a small promise of hidden delight. Jelly beans in every shade the rainbow ever dreamed of, marshmallow Peeps in cheerful rebellion, and glorious spiral-cut hams resting in their Sunday best, ready for the long family table. The flower section bursts with fragrant hyacinths and tender lilies, their perfume mingling with the distant scent of fresh-baked hot cross buns. Plastic grass spills from every display like spring itself has escaped the garden and taken up residence in Aisle 7. One pauses here, basket in hand, among the dyed eggs and chocolate treasures, and remembers simpler times--when Easter morning meant baskets, sticky fingers, and the quiet thrill of discovery. Albertsons has bottled that feeling and placed it neatly between the produce and the dairy case. It's not just groceries. It's Easter. And for a brief, shining moment, the supermarket becomes something almost sacred. A small resurrection, right next to the checkout. Price: A modest $29.99 for a fully loaded Easter basket worthy of the occasion (or $49 for the deluxe version with the spiral ham and fresh lilies). Far less than the memories it creates.

I came here on a Wednesday to get their 13/15 jumbo, de veined, peeled shrimp. They did not have any at all. The seafood/butcher guy said they ran out. Its the first day of the new ad, how can they run out? Honestly, they just don't want to sell it as advertised. I bought some jalepeno bread and went to check out. I asked the cashier if I can get a raincheck bc Cardenas is far from where I live. The cashier went to ask the manager, and the manager said no and just try coming again another day. I thought grocery stores were supposed to honor rainchecks if they don't have supplies unless stated "while supplies last". Im not too sure on that, I could be wrong. Well, I came 2 days later as I was on my way back from Santa Ana. Guess what? They still didnt have any of that shrimp out. They said they ran out. Just wow! That shrimp deal is a pretty decent deal. If its just a misprint, say so. My time was wasted and no one knows any information about the ad or deals. This location is big and they have many veggies that can be lower price than others grocery stores, but everything else like meat, poultry, seafood, even soft drinks are just too expensive. Just go there for tomatillos, cilantro, onions, and some tomatoes. Sometimes avocados. The store setting is weird and the aisles should be reorganized. I would not come to this location again as the workers here are not knowledgeable of their weekly ad. 2 stars and not one bc some of the Mexican ingredients are affordable and the jalepeno cream cheese bread is delicious.

Hubby asked employee for more details about the different shopping options and the employee told him customers could shop the "normal way they" pay via self checkout or with a cashier or do the "dash cart" option. Hubby was told that the "dash cart" option was for Amazon Prime members who had their account connected to their bank account. After hubby confirmed his Amazon Prime bank account information, he was given a special cart which allowed him to scan our I'm while shopping for a completely contact-free experience As we walked down the aisles at Amazon Fresh Murrieta, I noticed that some of my favorite items cost substantially more there than elsewhere (e.g Veganaise is $9.99 at store I usually shop but was $11.57 at Amazon Fresh.) Hubby loved scanning his items while shopping and hearing the "ding" sound to signal that the scan was a success. When arriving at the salad bar and hot bar, I was pleasantly surprised to see allergen listed above the hot and salad bar food, I was disappointed by the small amount of vegan friendly bar options which consisted of ingredients to make a salad, vegetable stir fry, an Asian inspired chopped salad, and dolmas. I will admit that there was a bit of a learning curve when using the dash cart for salad bar items but luckily, an employee was nearby to walk us through the process. During our shopping trip, we learned that whenever you plan to purchase an item from the "salad bar," you have to select "add food or code," type in "salad bar," place your box in the back of the cart to have it automatically weighed, then place the box of food in your cart. Though this technology is cool, there we're times when the cart gave an error that we didn't put the item in the cart but this was easily fixed by pressing a button confirming all items weee in the cart. The ambience in the store was pleasant with several employees stocking the shelves, clear digital signage in the aisles, and wide aisles to accommodate several shoppers. My main pet peeve at Amazon Fresh Murrieta was that the store grouped vegan frozen food mixed with non vegan food. I personally would prefer to have vegan frozen food separate but understand that this might not be possible due to freezer space constraints. As hubby prepared to pay for our groceries, he was extremely pleased when he walked through the dash lane and exit, was checked out contact free, and the cart presented him with the choice of if he wanted his store receipt emailed to him. Overall, we both liked the shopping experience because it was interactive and thorough but disliked having to confirm that items purchased were actually in the cart. Likewise, we and would like to see more clearer signage in the hot bar/salad regarding discounts since we were told by an employee that food from there areas were reduced in price during 6pm-7pm but didn't see a discount on our store receipt.

One thing that I like about the produce department is that they have fresh vegetables. They're vegetables are not inexpensive but they're good and I like that they always have eggplant. I never see artichokes there though. Their fruit department has something left to be desired. The only consistent tasting fruits are apples and oranges. Most of the time their offerings of berries and tomatoes are tasteless or old. That being said, this is still the best place to go for most of your groceries. You will save oodles of money if you shop here on a consistent basis. It's awesome that it's an employee owned company! You would think that would give the employees a better attitude but unfortunately there are not that many smiling faces working there. I wonder what goes on behind the scenes with management. They charge higher for products you can get far cheaper elsewhere. Take for instance Campbells Chunky Soup. $5, sometimes $6 a can? Delusional. Practically any other store would charge lower. Their cereal prices are also absurdly bad. Also they finally stopped printing an extra 1/4 sized receipt after the main receipt is done printing at self check out. It was a small thing but it was super annoying and a waste, thanks for stopping that. I didn't put this in the good or bad section because I know it has nothing to do with this specific location, and is a corporate issue. The Bad: This location has only one usable exit. The two entrances are one-way. You forgot a cart? Too bad, the alarm starts screaming. I'd be less annoyed with this if the only usable exit didn't have solicitors harassing me about their stupid political petition. They have been there almost every time I've gone for the past few months. That alone makes me not want to come back here. Shoppers should be able to perform their errands without having persistent jerks parked outside all day ready to spring on you with their political agenda. Yes I can ignore them, and I do, but the fact that Alberstsons allows them to be there makes it feel like they truly don't care about your shopping experience, and that they endorse their political agenda. I don't know what political side it is and I don't care, I shouldn't have to deal with that, and neither should you. On top of that, the one usable exit is behind all the cash registers, which means its extra congested and awkward. There's hardly any room to exit if you have a cart. No planning for traffic whatsoever.
