A very good thrift store. This Thrifty Shopper is always…read morevery clean and very well organized. I like that they have their clothing sorted by fabric type- knit or woven -and then size. There's always a wide variety of clothing and all is in good shape. I have found a good number of pieces I like at this store, from a whimsical Halloween sweater to staple dresses. Thrifty Shopper is one of the few thrift shops where they actually organize their books too. Being able to spot cookbooks vs fiction vs children's books at a glance is really great. It encourages me to genuinely sit and browse them to see if they have books I am seeking. Also at this time, if anyone wants Rachel Ray cookbooks there is half a shelf worth of them for grabs right now. I will say, if you like it grab it. This thrift store has a good amount of people traffic and turn over of items.

Even name brands like American Eagle heels ($7), Timberland boots($8), etc. Clothing is very well sorted and organized base on fabric type, sleeve length, size and even separated by age of interest. There's an entire "Juniors" section with clothing more attractive to the younger generations. In that section specifically, there are many many name brand items in great shape for a good price! Removed a star for the quality of the bathroom. I think this is the worst restroom I've ever been in. There's 1 shared gender restroom and it was DISGUSTING. I don't want to elaborate more than to NOT touch the wall. With that being said though, use the restroom before you arrive or go to a shop nearby before hand. The store is clean otherwise and I would still recommend this as a good stop on your thrifting checklist.

Antiques West is an incredible Syracuse gem that anyone who'd enjoy wandering through a deceptively…read morehuge maze of antique, vintage, and secondhand items would be crazy to overlook! It's a one-story warehouse-style building that's been sectioned and compartmented off into smaller areas where the wares of dozens (I think---it seemed that diverse, anyway) of individual vendors are arranged. The layout of the actual interior is deceptive in that you eventually reach a point toward the back of the main building where you realize that a series of doorways (and with abundant signage indicating what you'll find through each one) actually leads to several additional huge spaces beyond, each with even more items to browse. One of these "back room" areas contained multiple racks filled with vintage clothing (both women's and men's) that had clearly been carefully curated via the vendor's high standards of overall quality/vintage condition, and the diverse range of clothing types (costumey vs. casual/everyday vs. formal/dressy, etc.) was particularly impressive. My visit to AW happened accidentally and with only about an hour remaining until they closed for the day, so I know I didn't get to see all the rooms, let alone all the items, that were available at that time. Even so, I managed to find a wide selection of things to purchase (art prints, vintage collectible calendars, 5+ articles of clothing, two beautiful lamps, and more!) and was definitely able to confirm AW as a 100% worthwhile stop to include on any list of must-visit Syracuse antique/vintage shops. And what's more, every single staff member and vendor that I encountered while I was shopping went absolutely above and beyond in helping me find my way around, learn more about the back stories of certain items I expressed interest in, and trying on the clothing items I'd picked out prior to deciding whether to buy them. They seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me as a first-time shopper, and in turn I got to know several of them on a first-name basis even in the short amount of time I had to spend that afternoon. All in all I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience I had at my first Antiques West visit, and I can't wait to go back again soon!

This was our third antique stop of the day and I would need a morning devoted to exploring. The…read morebest way to describe is it has potential as a combo with antiques and garage sale type items. It's seems unorganized and cluttered in places, but with lots of interesting items to look at. I honestly need a few visits to any antiques place to determine if I would regularly return.

I purchased a Movie Man recliner by Ashley at Dunk and Bright on January 14, 2026 and it was…read moredelivered a few weeks later. I found that the lever on this recliner didn't work. Excessive force is required to get it to close. I asked for a repair or replacement. The repair man called saying it would be weeks for the part to come in and I said that I can't wait that long. It was replaced by an exact duplicate, even down to the color. The second one doesn't work either. It's an expensive piece of garbage that only my cat can use. I can't get the lever to work and if I push the end of the recliner with my foot so it will go back in, that doesn't work either. I called their store and was told that I won't get a refund of the white glove delivery fee. I kept saying over and over "but It doesn't work," to which the woman on the other and of the line kept repeating her mantra that it was delivered. Sorry, but that excuse doesn't work. This falls under not fit for ordinary use under warranty law. I shouldn't have to use excessive force to close it. I want a total refund. I paid $758.16 including tax and the white glove delivery fee. I also paid the delivery guys (first recliner) $40 in a tip. Altogether Dunk and Bright owes me $798.16. I want my money back NOW. My primary care provider told me to keep my legs elevated. I have lymphedema. I NEEDED this thing to work. I am disabled and am still recovering from major abdominal surgery. I am very angry. It shouldn't be this hard to get help. This product is defective.

I ordered a couch from them in mid September and was told it would be ready at the end of the month. Then i was told the order was never put in. Mistakes happen, no worries. They tell me the couch order is in and it will be ready October 2nd. This date comes and goes and I hear nothing from them. I call and they say it will actually be ready October 9th. Again, this date comes and goes with no update from Dunk and Bright. I have to reach out several more times to get any information on my order and am told it will not be here until November. I understand delays happen--but I am seriously confused why I would have to reach out a total of five times myself (with zero communication from Dunk and Bright at any point letting me know my order was delayed). After all this, they cannot even put the delivery on the porch. I would recommend looking elsewhere where they will communicate with you and have the wherewithal to give you information when your order is delayed multiple times.
