Did something happen in planning all of the parking lots along this road because they all seem to be a mess? The store itself seemed well-organized and employees were friendly. We headed here from Circle K because the snack selection was slim and the prices were high. The prices here seemed kind of high for Target (for non-Target brands) but at least, they had a big selection. Thankfully, they had sales on some Lays products. I always find something at Target. Is that a crime? The checkout area was somewhat overwhelmed, but this is the holiday season giving the gift that never ends. The cashier was friendly anyway. Getting out of the odd parking spaces was interesting with a bunch of drivers who seemed challenged by the odd parking lot. Life during the holidays never seems to stop amusing me. read more

I had a Drive-Up order pick-up, which included Tide Laundry Pods (112 count). Upon receiving my order from the Target delivery associate to my vehicle, I noticed I was given the the 63 count Tide container. I immediately told the employee that I ordered 112-count, and she said she could only refund me and could not go inside to get the correct item, even though she told me the inventory showed there were 9 of the correct item in stock. I asked her why she couldn't go inside to get the correct item off the shelf and she told me that "wasn't her job" because she was the delivery person. I asked her if someone else can get the correct item for me and she said "No, no one has time. There are a lot of orders pending." I reminded her that I paid for 119-count Tide and if it's in-stock, I should be able to receive the correct item that I paid for. She told me "If you want the correct one, it's in stock. You can go inside and get it yourself." I told her that someone from Target made he mistake of giving me the wrong item and I just wanted the issue fixed. She rudely told me again to go inside and get it myself. I told her I couldn't go inside because I had 3 young children in my car who didn't have shoes on, and I used the drive up service with the intention of not having to go inside to do my shopping. She repeatedly told me they were busy and she could only refund me. When I asked to speak to a manager, she told me I had to go inside because the managers don't come outside to talk to customers. I told her again, I couldn't leave my kids in the car and to please send a manager out to speak with me. As she walked about, she shouted "The world doesn't revolve around you, lady!" Wow, I am disgusted that you hire employees who speaks to customers in this manner, when all I wanted was for the mistake that Target made to be fixed. A few moments later, another female associate came out to tell me that the Tide was refunded and if I wanted the correct item I could go inside to get it myself. I told her why I couldn't go inside (my 3 small kids) and she said the item was refunded. I checked my Target app for the refund, and the online receipt did not show a refund, just the original payment. I told her I would like a receipt to show proof of the refund and she told me if I wanted a receipt, I would have to go inside to get one. Again, I told her I couldn't go inside because my kids didn't have shoes on and I couldn't leave them unattended in the car. I asked her if she could go inside and bring me a receipt and she said "We don't do that. We can't just keep going back and forth to your car." I reminded her that Target created this issue by giving me the wrong item, Target was refusing to give me the correct item and now Target is refusing to provide me with a receipt for the alleged refund. I was very frustrated and confused at the lack of professionalism and lack of regard for customer service. Her solution was - "If you want a receipt for your refund, you can drive your kids home, and come back to get your receipt inside." This female also told me she was "second in charge" and her supervisor would not come out to speak with me because she was busy. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Please explain to me how ANY of this is reasonable? How any of this makes any sense? Target is advertising the convenience of Drive-Up pickup service for contactless shopping, to assist those unable to go inside, yet, when your employees make a mistake, you expect the customer to go inside and resolve the issue?! And you can't even provide me with a receipt to show you returned my money? Both of these employees were rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate and I am appalled at the lack of customer service and accountability. I shop at Target multiple times a month - in-store, online and in-person/drive-up orders. I am disgusted at how I was treated and spoken to today. Horrible security ! Occurred around 630pm on August 5th, 2022 my spouse was just buying me a bag and the security reached after the bag after he just purchased the bag he dug his hands vigorously looking through it saying it's "stores policy" VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ! Should've asked from the time BEFORE purchasing . It was a gift ! Damn way to RUIN the packaging ! Found it very stereotypical while there was other ppl and other GUYS around purchasing why didn't he bother to look through their items ?!? Target selling used items as new! My daughter bought a car seat for me to use. (First clue it was used was the candy wrappers inside the box.). When I went to return it, 3 separate people said, "someone will be right with you." but made no attempt to actually find someone to help me. When a fourth person said this I mentioned the car seat I was returning had been previously used. He apologized and eventually found someone to process the return. Everyone apologized but nothing was done to make me a happy customer. Those car seat boxes are big, barely got it into my car. It was a hassle to load it, drive it back to Target, and unload it. I really did not need that task added to my day. A discount on a replacement car seat and assistance in getting it into my car would have been much appreciated. read more

I'm yelping Target. I must seek help...but before I do... They're really upping the ante in the grocery dept. Eggs were so cheap that my main concern was that they weren't from actual chickens. Also, I was remodeling my bathroom yesterday, well, I was unclogging a shower drain but I'm not all that handy so it seemed like a big deal. I went to Albertson's to get a tiny container of Drano and it was $7. It didn't do the trick so I needed more. Since I had to go to Target today to pick up the new Dylan CD (Modern Times), I thought I'd reload on the Drano. For the same $7, I got a jug of that evil juice that was larger than my head. A lifetime supply of caustic chemicals for $7? Target is a company with its finger on the pulse of the American public. Wanted to change cellular service and saw that Target has an in-store sales counter. The Tech staff there is sooooo helpful. MELISSA was very patient with us getting our service changed over, along with configuring our current phones. I just bought two new phone, and they said when we get them to bring them in and they will get them changed over for us. Since we are seniors, we need extra help, and our Verizon service was no help at all. Cancelled after being with them for 20 years. We chose to go with Consumer Cellular. read more

Employees at this location don't feel like they want to be there. They hardly smile and their tone of voice is not welcoming. Employees don't stress social distancing, especially an employee named Craig. He got uncomfortably close to me while I'm looking at items in an aisle. He was rude and couldn't wait for me to finish before barging into me! So I stopped in here to get a Starbucks on my way to Modesto Oct 10th. Wow this is a really nice Target, like the Macy's of Target! Beautifully lit, and great merchandise. I ended up buying a sweater because i forgot to bring one on my trip up north. The employees were friendly too, nothing like back home in LA. The cashier told me they recently remodeled and it looks nice! I could have spent hundreds in here, for sure. Good thing i got my chai tea, the sweater, and got out before any damage was done. After I had a horrible experience with the employee named STAR at the Fallon Dublin store ( see review of her rudeness on there page ) I had told the Livermore store and the customer service associate ( I wish I got her name because she was totally opposite from star) and she was so apologetic and was so kind to take me to show me the bathing suits and she helped me not only exchange it but helped me find other cute accessories and gave me a gift card for my next visit because of the inconvenience I had at the Fallon store. This is how customer service should be ! I'm going to say the con first: the parking lot is AWFUL. So many bad drivers being jerks. Apart from that, I don't really have any complaints. The Las Positas Target is smaller than the one in the Fallon Gateway, but they have much better prices, and their sales are better (mostly in Fallon things are 30% -- but here, there are lots of 70% off signs! My favorite signs!). I love the dollar section bins. It's like a mini Dollar Tree, except it's clean and not grody. The employees here have always been friendly and helpful. They have a decent selection of things here & Target has become one of my favorite places to shop at. Plus, plus-sized and maternity clothes that actually FIT!!! Do you know how rare that is in this day and age without paying a fortune? Almost all my jeans are from Target. :) read more

Went to target today for a wireless mouse to make working from home a little easier in these crazy times of having to shelter in place. My boyfriend who is a manager of a company Filled with concerned people that still have to work ended up finding mini hand sanitizer, which we have been looking for all of our associates and drivers which are still having to work and come into contact with people...there was no signs saying there were limits so of course we thought PERFECT! Loaded them all up into a cart and went to the register all to be told that we can only purchase 2 because it's a limit of one per person.... At the register next to us there was a woman purchasing 4 of them (most likely not for business use) ....and they let her purchase them all. Consistency is Key, especially in these times. My family and I frequent target often. My experience at this one was less than savory! Aside from the horrible service. We got up front to check out, and the checker by the name of Logan just stared at us no greeting at all. He then handled all of our food and other items with no care at all. He put his hand out for money without even giving a total. Once he gave the total I handed him 3 100 dollar bills. He ran it through the machine three times, then proceeded to check each bill. I asked is there a problem? He said no just admiring the money (in a passive aggressive tone) at this point I was noticeably upset. He handed me my change no "have a nice day" once again nothing! He then turned to a Caucasian couple who was behind me and greeted them with the biggest smile and hello!! Since the moment I stepped foot at this location I was met with open racism and micro aggressions. Is this who Target wants representing their brand? I'm disturbed and disgusted. I hope that a district manager reads this review. Target has the worst phone sistem that ever existed, you have to listen to so much junk to make a selection, and then no one answers. I was traying to reach someone at customer service for over an hour and no one ever answered, also whenever I been to the store is hard to find someone to help. One of the female supervisor of the cashiers has racial discrimination to her customer. On Thursday, December 13th 2018 around 12:15pm-12:30pm, me, my mother, my mother in law and my 3 months old child have experienced racial discrimination inside the Target store. Our family is having a 3 months international trip with my 3months old child with us. After calculation, I figured that my baby will need 16 boxes of formula powder during this trip (since he is being feeding formula only). So today we were all there in the Target Livermore store trying to buy formula we need for this trip. When we tried to buy 16 boxes of formula, I was asking the cashier whether we can enjoy 15%off because that is what I saw online as the promotion of that brand. Since the system didn't pop out the discount, so the cashier called her manager to come and help. Here are the sentences this female manager keep saying to us after she came to us: 1, "We CANNOT let you guys buy 16 boxes of formula. Because we are family store, we CANNOT let you WIPE OUT (this is the exact word she used) our inventory so that other families cannot buy it." 2,"Why do you need this much formula? Are you guys trying to resale them?" Any parent reading this review now may already got what I was feeling at that moment from these words came out from her mouth. We were there with my 3 months old child in the stroller with us. And I don't know why that female manager can say something like that to us. We need all those formula because we are having a 3 months international trip to where we cannot buy formula of this brand. This is the only reason we need that many of the product. And with my child in the stroller there, I feel so not respected when she questioned us that whether we are trying to resale the formula. Isn't it so obvious that my child in the stroller is THE ONE who needs those formula?! Plus, when did Target start to limit the number of items a customer can buy? I don't even need to explain to her that we are having an international trip (which I DID explain to her), I can buy any amount of product without being questioning as a normal customer, right? We may have some misunderstanding about the discount. But should a normal staff try to explain and help the customer to understand the correct information and help the customer to do a successful transaction? While this staff in Target Livermore, only tried to reject the transaction and reject to sale the items to us. In the end, she said "you can talk to our manager." And she let us wait at the customer service line and walked away without a word. After my child was born, I purchased all supplies like ready to use formula, toys, strollers and powder formula at Target store. BUT FROM NOW ON, I WILL NOT BUY ANY CHILDRENS' SUPPLY FROM TARGET BECAUSE BOTH ME, MY FAMILY AND MY 3 MONTHS OLD CHILD HAVE EXPERIENCED RACIAL DISCRIMINATION AT TARGET STORE. Went to Target to get down discounted Halloween candy and I was able to find the last two bags in the store that was discounted down to 70% This was November 6th, a good 6 days after Halloween so I didn't expect much. This store has been steadily declining in my opinion. Yes, they have remodeled however the bathrooms is consistently DISGUSTING....worse than a gas station bathroom in the middle of no where. The clothing in the girls section has a very limited selection when it comes to sizes. I have also tried their pick up options and the last three times have had them cancel on me for various reasons. Love Target but not this store. Really horrible customer service. I'd been to 3 different Target locations trying to find particular items and when getting ready to check-out, I realized I had left my wallet at home (blame it on sleep deprivation resulting from having a newborn). I asked Guest Services if they could hold my items until the next day as I live about 40 minutes away from the store. I had 3 different people, including the store manager, tell me three different "policies" regarding their hold time: 1) they could hold until end of day, 2) they could only hold for 2 hours, and 3) they couldn't hold at all because of the holidays. When I asked if they could please make an exception considering the circumstances, I was told, "We can't do that; if we made an exception for you, we'd have to make an exception for everyone." Right- because everyone lives 40 minutes from the store and forgets their wallet every time they frequent the store. I called Target's customer service number where I was informed that the hold policy is at the discretion of the store manager but yes, the team in Livermore should have helped me out and agreed to hold until the next day as Target does place items on hold during the holidays AFTER Black Friday. The representative called the store and helped me get the items placed on hold so I could pick them up the next day. Basically, two team members AND the store manager were unwilling to help a customer in need. Don't expect anything beyond mediocre customer service when shopping here. read more

I love the fact that the staff is working overtime to clean the baskets and provide sanitation, however, the staff in the front of the store personnel aren't the nicest. I had forgotten to enter my phone number when I bought a high ticket item and wanted to keep track of my item and I find it funny how no one knows how their own program works for the store they work for. I stood in line to be assisted and they all were clueless! Then they just helped all of the others behind me. I asked could they find out from another employee and they were like well all of the managers are in a meeting.....really? Yall are left to run this entire store and no one knows anything??? Oh wow! I like how these people that dont know simple things are the ones left to run an entire store!!!! Oh wow. All I wanted to know was how to connect my receipt purchase to my target circle account. I even asked for the number to customer service...they shoo'ed me off and told me look for the number on Target website. Wow, I'm in awe for such a great area like Livermore. Literally the WORST Target in the Bay Area. Every time Target is out of stock and sends me to this store I cringe. I have been there for drive up 3 times. All three times I waited over 30 minutes and no one ever came with my stuff. After 30 minutes, your drive up order resets and self cancels...so in other words if they take too long you're SOL. You have to go inside to the drive-up counter and show an ID to get your items. I've had to do this three times because their service is so bad. Don't shop there!!! They don't care either. I've complained and they just said..."Too bad, we're busy. Next time don't order drive up." WTH!??! Terrible customer service. read more

This is my shopping mecca! I rarely meet a Target store that I don't like, and this one is no exception. Neat, clean, and well-appointed. I found everything that I was looking for, and more! Now that Livermore is home, I will be here regularly. I like how this Target has an extensive food section (frozen, too!) Better prices than the grocery stores for the same items. Since I was in a hurry, I didn't get a chance to peruse all of the sections. I will return! read more

Their make-up and hair section is good. It sucks that their Starbucks is owned by Target and not Starbucks. They don't always carry everything that the other Starbucks do. They have everything you could want and so neatly stacked together. Shelf after shelf of stuff. The price tags lie sometime though. That can get pretty annoying because you have to spend precious minutes searching for the real price of an item. The Target brand items need to be better prices for being as cheap as they are. read more

I love Target. There are some weeks I'm there almost every day! And every single time I visit, we go to the food court. I always get a soda, and sometimes popcorn or a pretzel, and my kids get juice, or if they're been REALLY good, an ICEE. I was annoyed when you made the food court smaller in order to add a Starbucks, because why do we need a FIFTH Starbucks in town?! But at least we still had the Food Court! Not anymore. I saw today that you are getting rid of the food court in order to make the gosh darned Starbucks bigger. What in the WORLD are you thinking? Don't answer that, I know exactly what you're thinking. You're thinking of the "bottom line," and I'm guessing the Starbucks must generate more money that your food court. Of COURSE it generates more money, on paper, than Target's food court. Their drinks are overpriced. There's also name recognition. So, dollar for dollar, if you compare the revenue brought in to the food court versus Starbucks, it's going to *look* like Starbucks rakes in the dough. However, you're not thinking of the moms like me, who spend a couple of bucks at the food court, and THEN proceed to walk into the store and spend another $100 on groceries, kids clothes, and home items. I can give my kids an ICEE and they can be occupied just a little longer, long enough to let me shop a little more. And if I'm trying to decide between whether I should pick up my groceries at Safeway or Target, Target always wins out because I can grab popcorn and a soda. But if it's Starbucks I'm craving that day (which is VERY rare), I can go to either Safeway *or* Target, because you both have Starbucks. I can go literally anywhere to get a $6 Starbucks, but the only place I can grab a tasty popcorn combo is from Target. Sometimes, the food court is the ONLY thing that brings me to Target, like when I promise my children ICEES (or when ICEES were my pregnancy craving during my last pregnancy.) On the flipside, I think it's safe to assume that Starbucks isn't the ONLY thing bringing customers to your store, since they can buy those coffees anywhere. Now, I suppose one of the options is to let my kids start having those caffeinated, sugary, overpriced Starbucks drinks instead of the ICEES, and that's probably what you're aiming for. But that won't happen with *this* family, because my oldest son has food allergies. He could go into anaphylactic shock if he consumes anything from Starbucks because they sell nut products. That also means we can't treat our kids to a quick ice cream like most families, which is why the ICEES are so near and dear to us. ICEES are the only option out there to give frozen treats to my food allergic son. So even if you continue to sell the ICEES, but make me order them from Starbuck's, we'll not longer be able to buy them. I really, really hope you'll reconsider ditching Livermore Target's food court in favor of Starbucks. I'd love to see something like your Dublin East branch, where you have a smaller food court and a HUGE Starbucks, but at least you still have the food court. read more

Love this store and I shop here a lot-- quick groceries, school supplies, kids clothes, maternity, and holiday items! Like a high quality Walmart! But they lost one star because the last few times I have bought stuff from there, the quality seems to be suffering. The sippy cups leak-- and I have tried several types. I bought some from Target 3 years ago and they worked great, but not now! Also my husband's flannel pants were a great find, until he tried to pee and found he had to untie the drawstring to go - no hole for quick going.... read more

So I ordered a Grande (can Ij ust medium???) Caramel Light Frapp Decaf. "Sorry Ma'am, we don't carry decaf" WTF? I looked at her like she was talking jibberish! But I ordered it anyways. I used to go here at least once a week, but started going less and less as their customer service went waaaaay downhill. And tonight's experience made me not want to go back for a loooong time! There were two checkout stands, one with their light on and one with their light off. We went to the one with the light off first, but then said, "We should go to the one with the light on." So we go to the next one, start unloading, when the checker turned off the light (after we had put the stuff on) and RUDELY said "This stand is CLOSED!" I asked if the other stand was open, in which she simply ignored me. I feel so bad for Target that all they can get are these rude, older women who have no customer service skills.
