One of the worse targets I have had to shop at in a while. I'm used to east bay targets so maybe that's why? Not new. Not clean. Not organized. Limited selection. Signage not correct (don't bother trying to buy things here and get the promotional gift card. It won't ring up. Or they won't load the amount in the card). They do however have a huge huge huge empty parking lot. Shop online if you must have something from here. Or go to Walmart. Or amazon prime. read more

They have some employees that are extremely helpful and then some others that you can tell are just going through the motions. Ish and Josh are two of the best employees for helping customers with various things. And if they are having a bad day you would never know t as they are always all smiles. The biggest knock against this location is the stock available in the store. It seems to take a very long time for them to get the goods in to restock their shelves. read more

This is one of my favorite Targets to shop at since it's pretty close to home and has almost everything I need. I love the little pizzas they sell but today I wanted to try their grilled cheese sandwich because I thought "It shouldn't be too bad" WRONG. The old lady working at the time had the courtesy to wrap up my sandwich before I unveiled such a horrendous tragedy. 2 burnt slices of toast with "cheese", but boy did it look like like some gooey ass roast beef. I was just appalled. This is what my $2.29 got me. One of the biggest heartbreaks of my young life. I still ate it out of pity but never again... I only come here when I'm in Lathrop. Nobody ever asks me if I need help which I think is pretty weird considering associates and management are supposed to provide me with customer service. No big deal, it's whatever. I understand that you guys probably have projects. Anyways, pretty big store and everyone comes here since it's the only Target in Lathrop. You can't miss it when you're on the freeway. I love the fast food and Starbucks inside here. Lathrop is a small town so a lot of kids just hang out here because it's the spot. I like this place, but definitely customer service could use some improvement. :-) I think the only time I ever was helped really well was when I bought a camera here. Erona had helped me. She was so funny and nice. But other than that, everyone else kinda sucks. read more

I shop here all the time and have never had a problem w. An out of stock item, rude cashiers, long lines or anything like that. The store is clean and well organized. Some people like to say that target is expensive but I find that that's only true when it comes to certain clothing items and furniture/home decor. When it comes to every day products like shampoo and soaps etc I've found things a couple pennies cheaper than at Walmart. Even if it is a bit more expensive, it's worth it. read more

This Target is always short-staffed at the customer service desk and those that do work their aren't there to provide any service. Drastic difference from the Manteca store. Have been sitting in the drive up pickup for 10 minutes waiting. Not much of a convenience. Manteca never has more than a two minute wait. Lathrop, take note. read more

Good customer service is a lost art. I went into the store after the website said the product I was looking for was in stock. Looked all over the area nothing so I asked a floor associate for assistance. He looked on the hand held inventory device and said there should be 9 on the shelf we found the area where it should be stored but something else was in its place so the gentleman proceeds to say "he's not sure where they would have moved them 9 is a large number to not have any so I guess we're out of stock" didn't try to see if they were moved to another area. Nothing. So I want to the customer service area and no one was there. I go around the corner and three associates are talking about personal stuff, laughing and having a good time. Not working. I approached them and asked if someone was working in customer service, "yes he is". So we walk to customer service I explain to him what happened and asked if he could check manteca or tracy to see if the item was there. He looked it up and said yes both locations had the item. I asked if he could call the store because it said they had the item here but you didn't. I was told he could give me the number to call but he couldn't. Really? No help from target associates at all. Good customer service is hard to find. read more

One of the cleanest spiffiest Targets I've been to recently. It rarely looks crowded when we drive by on trips back and forth from Tahoe. We stopped here to stock up on some holiday decor and the selection was much less picked-over than our local store. read more

I LOVE this Target! It's right by my house, so I'm here 1-6 times a week. I like that it's clean and well stocked. I've never had a problem with couponing there. The starbucks is great. The only complaint I have is that some of the employees are rude. I went to return some window blinds once and gave them the wrong receipt, so the girl automatically assumed I had stolen it and told me I'd have to leave it there. I told her I did not steal it, so she said they were going to check surveillance from that day. I told her to go right ahead, I'll wait. After digging through my purse for 10 minutes, I found the receipt and handed it to the dumb B. She didn't apologize or say anything after that. She still works there. Margaret was great so. Fast and nice. Only reason for only 3 stars is the store was a mess the cafe area was so dirty then when I walked out the exit area had all kinds of popcorn on the carpet. And the carpet was all bunched up and gross if I wasn't paying attention I could have tripped and fell very easy. Such a hazard especially for older people walking with a walker or cane. This is one of my favorite Targets in the area. The store is clean and organized and most of the workers were great. In fact, one worker was nice enough to get us some toilet paper from the back though it seemed like she was new. However, what gave this store 3 - stars for me is our cashier. At first glance, she looked like one of those ladies that will bake you cookies, give you freshly squeezed orange juice after having given you a hug that feels like it came from your favorite teddy bear. But no, this is why people say not to "judge people by its cover" because of this lady. She was just plain RUDE. Her light was on so my sister and I went to her register. Once we got there and finished placing our items on the register she states that she's closed. My sister apologized and even offered to go to a different register however lady says it's fine. She starts to ring us up. We bought toilet paper and once she finished ringing it up she tossed it rudely and not like one of those I'm making a 3 pointer kind of toss but she tosses it as if she wanted to kill us for going to her register when she was "closed". Needless to say, I probably won't be back for a while and if I have to I must be really desperate. read more

Every time I go to their food service area to get the kids a quick snack they are always out of things. I really don't know why they even keep that open it seems like a waste of company money when they are paying someone who doesn't cook enough items to fill the demand. Today they had one cashier who was running his register and self check out because everyone called in. Their own employees don't want to be there. I love being able to go to target and get a Starbucks. But this Starbucks is horrible. They have people who clearly don't want to work there. I always go and this barista girl is mad at the world. She is short with the guest, she has her best I hate you face. It's just ridiculous. I've tried and tried to get on her good side. Frankly not because I care just because I want my drink made right. But even after many "hey how's it going" & "how are you?s" I can't seem to make her change her ways. Recently I went in and had a holiday coupon. I bought 5 grande holiday drinks and I get any grande espresso handcrafted beverage free. Well she wouldn't accept it. She said I had to get a holiday one. I told her if you read it, it tells you. Her response. " I read it 5times already". Obviously you didn't or can't comprehend what you read. I made a complain with the manager in charge Sarah and she was rude as well. Love shopping at target so much better than Walmart. So glad we just moved right next to this one. So clean inside, Big parking lot and never packed like damn Walmart. I love all Target but this one is my favorite one to visit. Not only is it so close to where I live, there's hardly anyone here. I LOVE IT! Target time also means ME time and I don't like to be bothered with the large crowds and lines I've experienced at the other Target stores. This store is especially clean, as well. Starbucks Line is always some what long. If you catch them on a good day there barely any line. The people that works there are great. I'm satisfied with the service. You can always find parking here. And they have self check-out. read more

I went in here for a bathroom break but I ended up spending $50. geeze what the heck? Clean... Nice.. Starbucks filled... wonderful blast of air conditioning to send the chills up your spine on a 100 degree day. AND THEY HAVE ESSIE NAIL POLISH HERE. I think that says it all actually. read more

DIRTY!!! Ok, I am an avid Target shopper where I live. I was out in the area so I stopped in to pick up a couple of things while checking out the new beautiful communities out there. Pulling in to the parking lot, I thought I was at a walmart. The parking lot was filthy with trash all over the place throughout the parking lot. The garbage can by the front door was completely flooded over with large piles of trash on the ground around it. The weeds needed to be cut down. The women's bathroom needed tending to and the isles have stuff tossed all over the floor. The cashier was very friendly and polite however was yelling back and forth with a coworker. Not saying that my local Target deserves a gold medal but Lathrop Target needs to step up their game in a big way, especially with all the new beautiful houses being built. read more

This target is clean and organized. There are always carts. It has a starbucks inside in addition to the regular target cafeteria. The sections are large and there are always clearance endcaps. We usually find good deals. Oh, and with toddlers, it is a plus that the bathrooms are always always sparkily clean! Two reason for giving 4 stars: the check out lines are usually long...they have plenty of registers but only havbe enough cashiers during the xmas rush. Also, they have problems ringing up WIC properly. read more

The only reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars is because I feel that most of the female workers here are incredibly rude. I've been here countless times because I live like 5 minutes away, and many different female register workers do not greet me at all, nor do they acknowledge me on the way out, even when I say thank you. read more

This Target is perfectly located near me and the I5. The Starbucks and Small Grocery in store are convenient and mitigate the necessity of visiting two different stores. The Restrooms, Entrance, Exterior, and interior are always clean. Never too busy and a courteous staff is always a desired plus. read more

You know I used to shop Target at times but it's been many years since I have done it and I'll tell you this we went there looking for some clothing items but they have a very small selection compared to other stores and the prices are very high in comparison, we went to sears and they were one third the price of Target. So now to the groceries we had a couple of gift cards so we figured we would use them there and we did, the total was 46.00 for about twenty dollars worth of groceries but the main problem I have is that almost everything in the fresh food department was nearly expired and a few things were expired that I looked at, and even stranger is not even a plastic bag to put your vegetables in to weigh them, so needless to say is that we probably won't be going back unless someone gives us another gift card, and even then it will be a burden, I'm not a big fan of walmart but they have a much better grocery section, even though I mostly shop at a local grocery store close to me or Winco for some stuff and Costco for big family dinners. It's so bright and CLEAN in here! Everything is so well organized and spaced out and neat, I love this target. Their clothing and shoe sections are always organized and everything is easy to find. This store is 2 or 3 years old so it's nice to see it's still fully staffed and kept in order. Sometimes during the night hours it seems like they have a shortage on checkers and you'll be waiting in line for a few minutes, especially around closing time. Other than that it is an overall pleasant and easy shopping experience. Their workers are friendly too. read more

There are never enough cashiers especially on the weekend. They will only have two people working the registers with lines to the jewelry section; but there's always a handful of employees standing around the register area "directing" you to try self checkout. Also, a handful of times I have bought food that had expired...like 6 months prior. They really need to monitor the dates of the food they are stocking because like I said it has happened MULTIPLE time with different food items. It's very frustrating. read more

We were on the way to go camping and forgot to bring a tarp for the tent. This Target was on the way to where we were going so we stopped in to buy one. Asked a worker where the tarps are, she kindly stopped what she was doing and took us to that correct section. She noticed there were no more available and called to the back to check if their were more in the back. Unfortunately it was sold out. No problem because if it wasn't for them to not have a tarp we wouldn't have been able to stop by Bass Pro Shop, which has everything an outdoor person could ever need, this will be a different review. But for this Target great customer service. We didn't walk out empty handed, bought a water-gun and a Caramel Frappaccino from the Starbucks located in the front. read more

This is my favorite Target! I stop by when we drive through the I-5. Clean, usually not crowded, well stocked, has Starbucks, groceries, good customer service. What I love most is that it's in the middle of nowhere so since there's not much people, everything goes on clearance! The last few years they've had huge clearance sections, especially after the holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines, Easter items all go 50% off the day after and then 75% off but I think they're catching on, there hasn't been as much stuff as the previous years. Target has recently expanded their food section to include fresh produce. As we are trying to reduce our food costs we trekked on over to give it a try. First, they have remodeled and brightened up this store. Aisles are wide and well stocked. We found bargains comparable to Costco. The produce was fresh and well stocked. In fact I saved 50 percent over what I spent at the grocery store the previous week. A note: individual pieces of produce are a per price basis, for example: gala apples were .54 ea, bananas .20 ea. There were also bags of these items available. The prices were such, that is worth my extra time to shop here for many items, reducing the time and dollars spent in my local grocery store. Additionally, if you use your target red card they take another 5 percent off the total bill. read more
