This is one of the busiest targets I have been to. The parking lot is cramped and tough to find a spot. The store is maintained clean and so are the restrooms. I love Target as a brand. The Langhorne branch however has tailed off in quality over the last few years. I used to be able to pull off a good grocery run here, but their inventory has been a debacle for a long time now. They are routinely out of yogurt, milk, meat, eggs, butter and fresh juice. Their produce is typically low quality. Random dry goods are out of stock for weeks on end and some freezer cases never get stocked at all. There are also quite a few expired items on the shelf, in particular in the diary. I don't know who's responsible for it all, but this substandard way of running a grocery effectively pushed me away from Target and towards other supermarkets for our grocery needs. Food shopping here is no longer worth the time. I also have to mention the state of the men's department which is an abomination. Man, browsing through the clothes here is really awful. There's way too much Hello Kitty and Care Bears clothing mixed with pink leopard print hoodies, Snoopy onesies, Golden Girls underwear and other assorted debacles. I literally used to buy 80% of my clothing at Target and now I buy almost nothing. Good work Target. Another spot in the store that need some work, is the discount area at the entrance. This used to be an awesome spot to find inexpensive gifts for kids and even some cool arts and crafts supplies. Now it's a ramshackle mess with all of the products mixed up, way too many low quality items and many bins totally empty. At this rate, they should just take this section out. It's really useless as is. So let's recap: With a lackluster grocery and a totally off putting men's section (and with my kids no longer needing baby products or diapers) my Target runs are drastically decreasing in frequency. I will occasionally stop in for toys or clothes and maybe the random houseware, but that's it. I do want to mention some of the upsides here, which are notable. The staff has always been super friendly and they gladly provide help or information when you need it. I also like that the checkouts are swift with many registers are open throughout the day. The pharmacy and its staff are amongst the best in the industry. Finally, the Starbucks is routinely great and is staffed by very friendly and competent barristas. I used to be all in with this Target but things have noticeably changed for the worst. I really hope they can restore this branch to its past glory. read more

I went to tatget today lookinh for some essentials. I went to self checkout since i only had a few items. I used a crisp $20 bill and when i inserted it, it ripped. i was looking to see if there was anything they could do but instead the woman who "helped" me gave severe attitude as well as NO help. Now I am $20 poorer and I was unable to complete purchase due to this horrible customer service. Target, you have lost yourself a VERY loyal customer. I lost my Rx on my drive here from Florida. I explained my problem to the pharmacist here and he made a call to my insurance and got me my prescription here. This target is very clean and bright and new. I'm not sure if it's always been like this or if there was a recent renovation. Their apparel section is nice and large and was very well kept. Once you got to other areas of the store it wasn't as well kept but we're still nice - such as home. We wen to buy an iPad and there wasn't any electronics team member present nor was there a help button at other stores so we had to get one paged. I will say it was hard to find team members in store especially in the back of the store. Overall a nice target! They have a nice Starbucks and a small "cafe" from the old target cafe. Their checkout lanes are relatively small, so it must not be that popular of a target. read more

Target Oxford Valley has the most mismanaged check out line despite having nearly every line open. It's consistently pure chaos and filled with angry customers. If the check out process is this much of a mess there should be staff to manage it. read more

Seriously? I called Target this morning...pressed #7 on my phone as requested by their automated system so I could talk directly to Toy department and got a nice man at the other end. I had my 3 year old Grandson in the car with me so you know making too many stops is challenging and we were searching for "an in stocked" 3 wheel scooter. I wanted to make sure they were in stock before driving a half hour, parking, getting 3 year old out of car seat etc etc...I am sure you get it. I was told by this friendly Target guy that he could NOT tell me if 3 wheel scooters were in stock and that the only way I could find out was to down load the app and check on the app. But...but...I am in the car...and I am calling the store for a quick answer. Can't this guy just go look???? I called Toys directly after all. Don't they have a computer? This was shocking to me. Am I that out dated or was this just ridiculous? Well...I decided not to buy from Target and found my three wheel scooter and helmet at Walmart. We were frustrated with limited stock for clothes, specifically the children's department. We ended up having to go to another store to get what we needed. read more

Customer Service at Oxford Valley, PA store is horrible. I called Guest Service desk twice. Both times, telephone rang for a very long time. No one ever picked up. Phone rang and rang and eventually disconnected itself. I drove to store. Did not see 'Customer Service desk". Went to Returns Dept. desk. No employee visible. After waiting a bit, I called out - Hello. Employee appeared and I said, "Hope my calling for you did not appear rude". Employee replied "A little rude". {} I had no other way to let them know I was there. Apparently, they did not see, or did not have, a camera on waiting area. I was polite, employee was not. She seemed annoyed that I was bothering her. I felt very unwelcome. Between not answering phone, not being able to leave voicemail, phone disconnecting me and unpleasant employee, this is a poor way to run a business. read more

I live so close to this target and have shopped there for a number of things however its not my first choice for a variety store. I appreciate that the customers are generally not in their jammies or screaming at the top of their lungs at their children. However, that setting, Walmart is less expensive for the exact same cleaning supplies, pet supplies and health & beauty. I also find the quality of household items is better then Walmart. When Target began selling groceries I thought this might be good because having utilized Walmart a number of times supporting my own investment since I had been a longtime shareholder (am not anymore so no conflict in this review) for things like nuts, protein bars, cereal and snacks has always provided savings but their produce is terrible. Walmart also has great meats, I am very selective when it comes to my meats, Perdue chicken, Pork tenderloins, chops and the Angus Filet Mignon's are excellent, fat better then any other I can find locally even the ground beef is fresh and not selectively repackaged when nearing expiration by a in store butcher who's pay is directly effected by discarding deteriorating products. Of course locally Giant made that decision to not identify the grading of their meat a few years back I guess believing that their shoppers are not smart enough to either know what the USDA grading means or even noticing they stoped identifying it on the label. Walmart also has the best packaging, I have yet to have blood leak from one of their packages. So off to Target to check out this a bit more upscale discount stores groceries. Now after giving it a try 4 times I find outdated products like yogurt, packaged lunch meats, and dairy but the department is dirty under stocked, in disrepair and three times at 8 pm has the isles completely blocked with stocking supplies and the lighting is dark and sad. When asking two different employees including a supervisor in the department they had no idea where to find common products and had no interest in trying to find it I have decided I will not shop for any food product there again. Good enough store . Customer service is a bit odd . I tried returning 2 items and an older woman said I can't return them , even with a receipt . But another staff member took me and everything was exchanged . Also , at self check out the service member who greets and says goodbye stares at your items as you walk away and asks if you paid ... even though he just saw you in self check out bc he stands within that area . Well! Target.com had an iPad 9.7 32GB on sale Black Friday for 234.00 I ordered it. That was on the 24th. With tax and what not it was about 264. We NEVER got it. tracking said it was shipping for the last 2 weeks. I have called and called. Nothing. Today, I call and they say THEY want to cancel the order and refund my money. I guess that is how Target.com rolls. False advertising as far as I am concerned. They did not deliver on the deal they promoted, and so I am done with Target.com and Target! Tried to fix this at store level and they are "Sorry,....their hands are tied". They cannot possible sell the iPad for that price. False advertising. The 2 stars are directed at the in store Pizza Hut and only reflects my opinion based on experience. I'll never eat at this Pizza Hut again. Cashier was reluctant to check for wings and was sure they were out. She obviously didn't want to make them. Waited 15 mins for fresh wings. Upon them being done, I asked for bleu cheese just to find out they had none and substituted ranch for it. Very disappointing Hot dogs are good most of the time. This Target is a great example of the old fashioned true department store, with a little of everything you need for daily existence. Clothing, food, lighting, kitchenware, electronics, sports equipment, music, and automotive - all under one roof. It may not have everything you want, but it generally has everything you need. Heard that it is a good place to work, especially compared to the other Big Brother Big Box stores. Not the highest quality, but not the lowest, either. Even the snack/coffee area is offered as a convenience to their customers. If you remember EJ Korvettes and other last century highway superstores, Target will make you feel a little nostalgic. read more

The reason they get 1 star from me is that we just (1 week ago) bought several decks of Pokemon cards. They are unopened. They were to go to my son for his birthday. He didn't want them after all, so we went to return them, with receipt, unopened. Target does not accept returns on Pokemon cards. Didn't know that did you? Neither did we. No sign. No comment by the person who rang us up a week ago. Unopened. So that's the story. Be careful what you buy from them as you may - or may not - be able to return it. And that frankly stinks. Target is by far one of the best department stores around, however this particular store has been completely remodeled making it even better. Some of the major changes that make is stand out from a normal Target include remodeled electronics, housewares, baby, and home decor sections. Target has decided to use an open look in these sections, giving it a look that is reminiscent of JC Pennys. They have given these sections display areas where it gives a much better overall look and sense of value. Target has added a registry section to the baby area andd the overall look is that of something babies r us would have. Target seems to be targeting the registry crowd with this overhaul as well as a upper middle class clientele. read more

I feel like too many people are leaving bad reviews. Unfortunately things aren't the way they used to be. Places are understaffed and people (customers) are ignorant as well. Agree or disagree but it's very difficult as ONE PERSON to keep an eye on such a HUGE store. Sometimes people pick things up and set them down somewhere else because they want to be lazy. Other times, kids come around and play with everything and we all know how quick kids are. Even GROWN people leave messes throughout the store. Unfortunately nobody really cares about how they leave things. I love this target, they don't get to control what they put out unfortunately. It's a corporate thing. It's hard to blame a store for being out of stock when it's nationwide. Every store you go to, you see signs of things being out of stock simply because we can't catch up. And sometimes things are being ordered and back-stocked time after time again and that's not the fault of the store directly. Other times, items are discontinued. And so forth. I will never talk bad about anyone who works retail. I have a lot of respect for every worker here. read more

This store is a mess. Uboats and flats full of boxes everywhere. Awful customer service. Majority of employees are standing around doing nothing. New management sucks. Denys is clueless and does nothing about employees doing nothing except talk to them so he can do nothing. Very disorganized and only certain sections seem to be stocked regularly. Also with covid they need to start actually enforcing mask rules most of the time I'm there like half the people aren't wearing makes properly. I go to this Target a lot. We do not have a Walmarts close to us. I prefer Walmarts prices, but walmarts is so dirty and I doi not like the way things are organized there. I alos have had a good experience with returns at this target. They are very helpful finding things and I do believe that the products are a higher quality than Walmarts. My daughter & I shop a lot in Target. We spend a lot of money in this store. We like to browse & look at everything. Is there a crime in that? My daughter has 4 kids. I don't know if that is the issue but the security guard follows us around and watches us check out and pay. Then when we get to the door, he asks to see our receipt and digs thru our bags. I researched it and it appears it's illegal for them to search our bags. That is so insulting! The employees are rude in this store and they have a huge turnover. Every time I go in there, a new face pops up. My daughter went in there today with her mother in law and she noticed that the guard was following them around and went thru their bags when they left. They actually stand behind us when we check out. I don't shop there as much now. I hate Walmart but I'd rather go there then be treated like a criminal especially when I'm spending my hard, earned money. Update: My daughter & I stopped in this Target on 6/18/2019. My daughter dropped over $100 in groceries & diapers. I spent approximately $30. The security officer appeared out of nowhere & stood by us as we checked out. Another employee stood to my left. It was so insulting that I called John, some type of higher up, and complained to him. He promised to look into it and call me today, 6/19. I never got a return call. This location was always a good shopping trip. Now there is barely any products on the shelves. We went to try to pick up a few gifts for a baby shower and could not find 3/4 of the list. Would not recommend registering with Target at all! The cartwheel app always had a good deal or two, now no deals not even worth scanning anything. I think this Target is my favorite though it gets pretty nutty in here. They are always well stocked and have plenty of people on the sales floor. The Starbucks is a plus as well. I'm a huge Target fan in general. Especially now with the addition of the cartwheel app and the ability to stack coupons, you really can't match up shopping anywhere else. There are two kinds of people in this world: Wal-Mart people and Target people. I am a Target person to the CORE and have not set foot inside that degenerate hellhole in probably a decade.
