This is our first furniture purchasing experience and we worked with designer specialist Cindy Thompson to pick out couches for our apartment and she was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. She helped us plan out a living room given our limited space and even pushed to have it shipped out sooner than we asked. After we left we changed our minds and wanted a different piece and Cindy accommodated us immediately, and followed up promptly with a phone call to confirm everything. BUYER'S BEWARE! Run from this company as fast as you can. Worst company ever for customer service. Wasted an entire day trying to reach somebody regarding a delivery date and time for a loveseat and swivel chair that they screwed up. They even charged my credit card twice for the same transaction. The customer service number they provide is for an "outsourced" pool service center probably located somewhere in Timbuktu. Can't understand a word that anybody is saying there. The Press 1 For English option doesn't exist. So I called the local store. The store manager said she can't help me because I ordered the furniture online and I will need to call same customer service department that I spend hours on this morning chasing my tail. I then call their Corporate number. The number they published isn't even assigned to Ashley. The NJ Crime Bureau picked up instead. Can't make this stuff up! Take your business elsewhere. My wife and I purchased a sectional couch from Ashley. Within a few months, seams started to separate, we called and they came out and sowed it up. A few months after that they started to separate once again, we called and they took each section one at a time and replaced the cushions and repaired the seams again. About three weeks later the seams are separating once again and now they're telling us that the additional extended warranty that we purchase does not cover that, and they said that it's "normal wear and tear". The seams are coming apart at the seats that no one sits in. The customer service is rude and incredibly unhelpful. Would not make a purchase from Ashley Furniture again. Would rate 0/5 if it was possible. We paid too much money for this couch and it should not be falling apart already. read more

Ashley Home Store is a disgrace! We ordered a very kitchen set and they day it was delivered it had 2 scratches at the top of the table and a chair that was completely chipped. Their furniture in the show room is first rate and what they deliver is second hand rejects. We returned the entire set. They actually asked if we wanted to try to have the items fixed! Are you kidding me? FIXED. It should have been in perfect condition when delivered. I can tell you it looks like the chair fell forward and chipped the front and the top of the table had gashes from where they used a knife to open the plastic. It was crazy to refuse delivery and what was worse was it too 3 weeks for the return to show to the fact we returned it. A bill was still sent. The manager at this location is as rude as can be. STAY away from this place. Just so you know they are actually part of Value City. When my set was delivered it came from VALUE CITY! Total joke. Value City is like Big Lots who sells seconds and items that were cancelled or damaged in some way. They sent us a piece that probably refused else where. Will never shop there. The delivery men, went through my kitchen and stole an envelope that was a gift with $600. cash in it. They were acting very suspicious and left in such a hurry, they left behind tools and trash. When I called the manager he basically blew me off, "I'll bring them into the office and ask them what happened " I'm sure he expected them to tell the truth? We bought a kitchen table set a few years ago from the Fairless Hills Pa store and purchased the extended warranty. They sent a representative to our home to evaluate the issue we were having with the table top. The design of the table had grooves in random places to give it a "weathered look". All around one of these grooves the laminate was bubble up in an oval shape. Their representative said there was no way this type of damage could be repaired, and the table top would have to be replaced however that decision was not his to make. A few weeks later we received a call from the repair department saying they were not going to replace or repair the table top. No explanation why was given. So basically their warranty which i paid extra dollars for isnt worth the paper it is printed on. I have bought furniture from Ashleys in the past but will no longer and do not recommend them or their useless warranty. I will post pictures if yelp allows me to. read more

Buyer beware, do not buy their extended warranty, they will find a way to not honor it. We have purchased most of the furniture in our house from Ashley and it looks nice. We bought the warranty on a sofa 3 years ago. Have a frame issue. Customer service is rude, managers will not believe their service technicians missed something. Still a disconnected frame and they say a solid piece of wood is supposed to be floating in the back of the sofa, connected on one side and disconnected on the other. Then I get blamed for not being home when the service technician came out. I will never purchase from this company again. Already wasted thousands of dollars. read more

This is my first review where I wish I could give a -1 star. I purchased a new bedroom set earlier this year from Ashley. After a short time one of the nightstands started to peel apart. I understand that things happen so I arranged for them to pick it up and repair it. I would have preferred a new piece but if they could made it look new that would be fine. They picked up the nightstand at the end of AUGUST! I was told it would be back in 7-10 days. Its now the middle of November and I still don't have it back. During the past few months they have not called back as they said they would. Most recently they advised they couldn't fix it and would send a new nightstand. On the day it was supposed to be delivered they called and said it was damaged and they couldn't ship it. Since then I have been promised a call back and still have not received one. I will never purchase anything from Ashley ever again and I advise everyone to consider the service I'm receiving before you purchase anything from them. read more

AWFUL! They made false promises at the time of buying, promising delivery no later than Mid October and I was told the sales rep would keep us updated. They kept pushing out the delivery date without even informing us, and I had to call over 10 times to even get in touch with someone. When I finally got a hang of the sales rep Jeanene, she screamed at me and hung up on me! The manager Andy does not care at all and didn't even bother calling me! Pray you never need to use your warranty. I had a recliner break about two months into my purchase and they sent a disgusting, homeless-looking guy to my house who smelled like marijuana. After 30 seconds of looking at my furniture he said he was ordering a new part and would be back in two weeks. He never ordered the part and after I called I had to start the whole process over. I'm now at 3 weeks from that date and still haven't heard a word about my part. I purchased at Ashley Fairless Hills. Good salesperson but the warranty is useless when Ashley doesn't stand by their product. I recommend passing on the coverage because you're pretty much wasting money. read more

This was my first time at Ashely Furniture and I had the pleasure of working with Roberto today ! I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with him! As soon as I walked in Roberto greeted me, he made me feel welcomed and comfortable! I have never met more of a down to earth, honest and personable "salesman". I use "salesman" very lightly because he was not pushy and not "just trying to get a sale". He took the time to listen to what I was interested in purchasing. We had ordered a bedroom set in early June, slated for delivery in early October. We could totally understand that within the pandemic issues. The furniture didn't arrive until after Christmas that year and the dresser was broken and the hardware on the bottom drawers just fell apart, oil leaked onto the inside frames. The company sent me hardware as if I was a technician and then when I called back to tell them that it was the wrong pieces of hardware they told me I'm not a technician so how would I know what I was talking about. It was all so belligerent. Finally, we were able to exchange the dresser for a new one because obviously we didn't pay for a broken, unusable dresser. That took until July to get in. So it's been over one full year since we had purchased this bedroom set. The dresser bottom drawer is awful still and hardware is still broke. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. Everything is made over seas and assembled poorly in the states. Customer service is the worst and nobody within the store itself is willing to help. Worst furniture store ever. read more

I purchased a sofa and chair. Was told it would be in two weeks. Never heard anything so called. Spoke to the salesman on a Saturday who told me it would be in at the beginning of the week and he would have it delivered to me at the end of the week. Called because I never heard anything again and was told that it would not arrive for another month. I asked if they were kidding me since I had already sold my old furniture and was never told that. They said they would cancel my order and refund the tax I had paid however the credit card I put that on had been cancelled due to fraudulent charges that were attempted on it. They preceded to tell me that I needed to get a letter from the bank stating that that card number was cancelled and that they needed to credit a different card. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! Not only did they just inconvenience me for an entire month and offer to do nothing to rectify their error but, now they wanted me to jump through hoops to get my money back! I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life! Will never purchase another thing from this store and highly recommend going somewhere else to purchase furniture. Go to Raymour and Flanagan! The extra cost is worth the better quality furniture and professionalism and to say the least, the better customer service!! I bought a adjustable bed here about 3 mos. ago, it was 1000.00 and from the moment it was delivered to my house it didn't work properly. The salesman Todd at Ashley's was extremely professional and kind but unfortunately that is all I can say about my experience. The two men who delivered my product were extremely rude and unprofessional. They came into my home and immediately got bothered because I couldn't lift my mattress. I explained to them that I have an injury and I am unable to lift it and they proceeded to roll there eyes and made me feel like I was a bother to them and interrupted there day. My wife and I have called the company to correct this issue with the mattress, however I'm very upset and I don't think I will be shopping there anymore. Very frustrating from a delivery and update standpoint. I understand Covid has caused the delays but dont overpromise at point of sale and also they do this thing when you call for an update,,,,,, if your salesperson isnt in, the office staff wont tell you anything,,, even though its right in front of them on the computer....so you have to call again.....and yet again....and yet again... and hope your saleperson is A) working and B) available to take the call...then if they are, mine complained to me about the ofc staff transferring the call to her?....this is all a totally unnecessary run around....oh and still no furniture.... read more

We're not amateurs to the furniture buying scene. We know what we're looking for when we go out. We hate being bombarded by salespeople. Usually when you go in these places they greet you, and follow you around. We tell them "we know what we want, we'll get you when we need you" and most of them still follow, at a distance. We were surprised when we noticed nobody following us. So when we found what we wanted, we went and got Todd. He answered all of our questions and made our experience as easy as possible. Once it was time to purchase, he tried his best to find best price for us and did price matching. We bought a dining table and 6 chairs from him. I have purchase multiple items from Ashley Furniture Home Store. I am very disappointed with your furniture warranty department. I purchased a Durablend sofa and loveseat after 3.5 years the sofa started peeling. I have a 5 year warranty and they told me that they could not do anything about it even though I purchased the warranty to cover this. I don't think I will ever recommend this store to anyone else. I purchased a Durablend Sofa and Love seat on 5/18/2010 from Ashley Furniture Homestore at 120 Commerce Blvd Fairless Hills PA 19030. Invoice #55000592. With this purchase I added the 5 year extended service plan. I was told by the sales associate that the plan would cover any damage to the furniture. In about last November 2013 I notice that the sofa was starting to peel in certain places. After noticing this I called the store in Fairless Hills PA where I had purchased the furniture. The store put me in contact with the service center (Value City Furniture) they told me that they would send me some info about servicing the sofa and they would contact me via email. So a week are two went by and no contact from anyone. After I received no response I called back and they line was very busy so I opted on their system to receive a call back. I finally received a call back 3 days later. I talked to a Mary Ann at the service center(732-355-9200) and she told me where to email photos of the damaged areas of the couch this was in December of 2013. Once again I waited about a week or two for a call back. Once again no call back. I called the service center again on hold for about 40 min decided for call back. Once again received call back 3 days later. They told me they didn't receive the pictures so I sent them again. I called back a few days later to see if they received the photos at that point they had received the photos. They told me they had to review the pictures. So about 2 weeks go by and now we are at the end of January 2014. By this time the sofa is now peeling and falling apart all over. I call back and they tell me that they have to sent someone out to look at the sofa. The earliest appoint that Furniture doctors had available on a Friday which is my day off was March 14th 2014. The gentlemen from Furniture doctors came out and looked at the sofa and told me it looked to be a defective unit and needs replacement. He took pictures and told me that Ashley Furniture would be in touch in 5 days. So on March 21 2014 I called the service center to find out what was going on. The lady that answered told me they don't have my info yet. About 20 mins later they called me back and told me they can't fix or replace my couch because of the wear on it and I had it since 2010. I asked why and she said the wear is extensive and I should of had it addressed when it first happened . Are you serious I called about this when is first started happening. I'm very disappointed with your company. I will take this issues as far as I can till it is resolved. read more

The furniture selection was not impressive, but we did wind up ordering a bedroom set. I am 100% disappointed so far with the sale. The sales person obviously only cared about making the sale and lied to us telling us that we would have the furniture delivered in about 8 days (3 to stock, 3 to ship) it has been 12 days now and after 3 phone calls I was told we will not get anything delivered until another week. This is totally unacceptable and I plan on canceling the order if the furniture does not arrive sooner. We sold the bed we had so the new stuff could be delivered. I would give this company and the store a zero stars if I could. I bought a Sectional sofa for 1,600 dollars and they delivered wrong color middle piece. They broke my door and my outside landscaping light during delivery. Needless to say I called customer service and was on hold for 35 mins, left my number and no call back. I then called store spoke to Lucy the manager who promised me a callback within 24 hours. Well 5 days later I had to go into the store and speak with her. I sent an email to corporate headquarters 5 days ago and nothing heard back from them either. I also called general manager and that was 22 hours ago and nothing. They said they would send me a check for broken light but that was from the delivery company. DO NOT I REPAT DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SORE OR COMPANY. I purchased a sectional sofa with two zero wall power recliners in May, 2015. One of the recliners is caving in and the frame is now where the padding should be. I called customer service, and even though I purchased an extended 5 year "NO WORRY" comprehensive agreement, I was told that this is not covered. So after 2 years the sofa fell apart and Ashley will not stand behind their product and replace this poorly made, piece of junk that is falling apart. Horrible customer service and weird attitude of all the salesperson. You would be noticed only if you're furnishing entire home else you would die to see a representative. Got an expensive recliner from the sales guy, who was busy with another heavy-duty customer. Promised to deliver in a week and never cared to call that it won't be delivered for another 10 days or so. Finally on the delivery day, called them 3 times after waiting for an entire day. Customer service agent was super rude and furniture was delivered after 4 pm, which was initially promised around 1. I would give more stars BUT we haven't had anything delivered yet and that could make a difference. We are moving and thought it would be a good idea go get the stuff we need because furniture always tends to be a wait and we would like it for our new place when we move in. So, we were greeted by a kind older gentleman who asked us what we were looking for. I DID NOT want to be followed hounded I wanted to look... And to my surprise (unlike mealys) I was not hounded or followed. He let us Browse and even when I thought he'd be right behind us he wasn't! It was great I went to him when I found certain things I liked and then continued shopping .... It was less painful than buying a car! And it was an overall pleasant experience. I wish their selection was a little bigger, but I found a table a server and a bed set that I was absolutely inlove with. I did not purchase the warranty because we always get them and NEVER use them! And from the sounds of it they don't honor it anyway, we may or may not add it on before it's purchased, but like I had said I wish I could give it more stars but it's not being delivered until September.... Hopefully that far out they won't have any "problems" dropping in stars! Just got a call telling me because of the lovely pope who they've known was coming for a long time now ... We will not have our furniture for the new place. I came in early so we would have our furniture when we moved... I came into Ashley Furniture at the end of August looking to get a new living room and dining room set. I liked one at the store, so I applied for the card and got approved. I only wish the salesperson Kirk was as quick to help with a problem as he was to make the sale. From the beginning it has been nothing but problems with Ashley Furniture. The delivery men were about 3 hours late from the time I received which was 12-4pm. I received one phone call at five of four to inform me they were going to be approx. an hour late. I wasted an entire day waiting on your delivery team and they didn't show up until about 7pm. In addition, when I made the purchase the salesperson said I would have everything in two weeks and I did not have everything at the time of the delivery. He said he would take the server from another PO because another customer did not need the server until the end of September and he lied to me. The server that was sent to me was the piece that was on display in the store. It was chipped and wrapped in clear plastic wrap instead of in a box. When I called to speak to the salesperson I asked him if it was the display and once again he lied and said no. I came into the store the next morning to find out when I would be receiving my new server and the server was missing from display. In addition, your delivery crew told me everything else came from the warehouse, but they had picked up the server in the store. Furthermore, your staff informed me that I would have my new server on or before September 4th. It is now September 4th and I do not have my server. Moving on to another issue, I called and spoke to the manager Nick and I informed him I no longer wanted the warranty on my furniture. I wanted the credit returned to my credit card. He said I had to give him a few days because he needed to contact corporate office which I agreed on waiting. This happened on a Saturday and Nick said he would call me on Monday and never did. I called him Monday evening and he said the credit was put back on my card. I went into the store in Fairless Hills, P.A on September 4th to find out when I would be having my server delivered, but Nick was not there. I spoke to one of the ladies at customer service in the store and they said they would once again take the server from another PO and could have delivery Tuesday September 9th. I asked them for a copy of the receipt where I was issued the credit for my warranty and the lady at the front desk said there was no credit issued to me. The manager Nick has yet to credit my card for the warranty. All in all, this has been one of the worse shopping experiences ever. I will never shop with Ashley furniture again and I will make sure people know about the horrible customer service the store in Fairless Hills, P.A has to offer. read more
