This Target is great. Not only do they have a great pick up system for orders when you say you are on the way they ask if you want a Starbucks added to your to go order. This is brilliant! I love this store! read more

5/ 10/2019 Friday, @8:34 pm ... Been to different Target stores in many locations. With all Targets they are notorious for not keeping their shelves fully stocked. During this particular visit, I needed to find items on my list that they are out of. I walked toward the register to find an employee to help. talking to a Customer/ friend .. when I politely excuse myself if she was available to help me with checking for many items out of stock . She just looked at me like I was a nuisance to her... she didn't respond with a yes/ no. But did say goodbye to her friend/ customer and proceeded to walk towards me . Her facial expression to me felt like I was not welcomed and I was a bothersome to her. She doesn't have the " I can attitude" , the willingness to help or assist ". So we proceeded to walk over to the market area. I showed her a few of out of stock on my list. Asked her if she would like me to write down the items I needed or have her take a picture of my items. She simply said no. She can only grab one items at a time. She was taking quite a long tine grabbing my other items. I spotted Gabrielle at the baby clothes department , she couldn't help me because she said she is not in market department. She did radio another person to assist me with checking back stock . Kendra appeared to help me with the remaining out of stock items. She did grabbed the 2 items but missing a few more . Before I can address the issue . I saw Kendra back side, she walked off down the aisle. I still had 3 more items left on my list. There I stood dumbfounded, angry with the incompletel service I received by all 3 employees that night. read more

This is a great Target. Very well organized, stocked, and aisles wide to accommodate my wheelchair. Want to rave about the bathroom as a wheelchair user. The entry door is lightweight and makes it easy to get in and out. The handicapped stall was nice and roomy. Easy access sinks, and they even had a pull down step to accommodate children. Hats off to the management! read more

This target is usually always stocked and clean. Friendly staff and the plaza has decent parking! At the beginning of the pandemic they were really good with sanitizing their carts but I have noticed they have stopped doing that. Mask is still required. They have a food court area here which some targets no longer have! read more

Eddie and Eric, They are both fantastic and great to be around, Patty was very nice as well. This is definitely the best target I have been to in my life. I suggest this one over the rest due to the outstanding customer service and clean store. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - La Verne, California

My daughter went in last night to pick up some baby formula that she ordered, and she waited over 30 minutes in her car, and no one came out to give her the formula, so she got off her car to see what was going on, she went inside to guest service and the worker at guest services was on his personal phone not even helping my daughter and not even ask if she needed help, he was very rude, and he told her if she wanted the formula now that she would have to wait an extra 30 minutes, when she already waited at your curbside service for 30 minutes something is wrong with this picture, don't you think. read more

Updated review today (January 29, 2019). I'm very happy to report that my prediction (from my previous YELP review last year) was wrong about this particular Target closing. I drove by there today and they have just started on what looks like is going to be a major store remodel/renovation. I'm very happy about that because, this has been one of the worst, poorly managed, unorganized, unkept, unmaintained, inadequately stocked Target stores I've ever experienced (and I have been to many of them). In general, I love Target and I'm happy that my prediction about this store was wrong. I'm anxious to see what this Target is going to look like when they are finished with it. Who knows how long that's going to be though. As it stands, this Target still receives a 2.5 star review from me. I will update/change that once I see significant improvement with the remodel and how the store is managed. You can see my photo below and, read my previous review. read more

Target - This target is undergoing a remodel as of about a week or so ago. Today is January 29, 2019 - Department Stores Near Me - La Verne, California

I practically live at this Target. I've probably been to every Target within s 30 mile radius and this by far is the cleanest, most organized, and least hectic one. I'm sure the location has much to do with the light foot traffic compared to the other locations. The clearance racks are always neat and I can actually find decent stuff here. The staff are pretty friendly and the lines are never bad. My only complaint is that the employees like to smoke out front near the benches. I understand they are on break and have no issues with smokers, but going out another 5 feet would be a lot more courteous to families coming in. read more

Target Corporate, why no more California King sheet sets? Came to store this morning, no Cal King sheet sets. Manager has no idea why either. Others have asked the Manager too. People are not going to get rid of their Cal King beds. Target corporate is making customers go online A$$?on shopping. Poor business practices. read more

It seems like we live at this Target! :-) We shop for groceries here each week (because it is so close) as well as the odd trip when we need to pick something up. This Target is well kept and usually well stocked. It is clean and the employees are very helpful. The store also hosts a Starbucks. I would suggest linking one of your credit card through Target if you shop here often. You get 5% off of all of your purchases, and it does not cost you a thing to sign up. A great deal! It is best if you shop here early in the day or late in the evening to avoid the crowds. The parking lot is clean and well lit. Bathrooms can use a more frequent cleaning though. :-( read more

This store is always out of everything. It's super frustrating because it's the most convenient location-wise to other places I run my errands at but without fail every time I come here for specific items they're out of stock -__- read more

Went to the store yesterday to get my children bikes , spent about a hour getting the bikes from the salespeople who were short staffed but were really nice . However the bike that my son chose had loose handlebars and had to wait to get them tightened with a wrench . At the checkout they scanned the bike and said they couldn't sell it to us because it's defective and it is being recalled. I couldn't believe it we waited over an hour for a product that was displayed which is on recall !wtf read more

I'm so dissapointed with this Target . They are always stocked poorly. Never enough of anything . I'm always forced to go to the San Dimas location. read more

Target has a deal when you buy two Benadryl products you get a five dollar gift card. I grabbed an item from the end cap display and the other from the isle. Both spots had tags displaying the coupon. When I went to self check out I scanned the items and paid but it never prompted me to scan the gift card. I saw an employee by the name of Giselle. I explained to her what happened and she said unfortunately she can't help me at these registers and that I needed to go to customer service. I went to the cafe and as I was waiting Giselle came up to me and handed me the gift card and apologized for the inconvenience. Thank you Giselle for you going out of your way to help me! read more

Dear Target and Residents as well as customers, I was trying to get a basic phone and an advanced phone a few times and had individuals set me up for really bad phones based on my Ethnicity. Cheaper phones for low class and expensive phones without things missing for higher class. Every phone I get from target has had missing contents. I asked why a few times, found out its because of my gender and ethnicity. I also found life harder with certain items paid for from them, then paid in full elsewhere. I notice my paystubs were different in Fed Tax and other taxes. Just little things I notice. Maybe put the the phones for the whites in one section and Mexicans in another section so I won't get cursed out for being diverse. I had no idea I was in the wrong section. Really not being an jerk but I like low conflict, and if I'm get cursed out reasons unknown, it's better to let individuals know that your phones are Ethnic specific. Sincerely, Your favorite shopper Emman read more

Never have anything I need in stock. Love Target but they need HUGE HELP in INVENTORY CONTROL. So frustrating having to order online and wait for my stuff or having to drive 20 miles away to another target to get what I need. 3 stars is for ambiance of the new decor, layout of target stores and the great app with target circle rewards. read more

I like Target. The Target in La Verne is the closest to me and is chronically low on stock of many items. I Do Not Blame the Staff for this. The MANAGEMENT is totally to blame. I have previously posted photos and have not posted all the photos for all the times I go there and see large empty spaces in nearly all depts. This is only because Management cannot deal with running a retail store. Almost everytime we go there we cannot find one or more items that is normally stocked and there is an empty space for it. Management.. How much would your sales be if your store was almost always stocked,,, Like WALMART is which is where I go because Target does not have what I want. Even Target San Dimas and Montclair seem to have this problem. Come on Target I give you first shot at selling me stuff. Does Management even walk thru the store? Doesn't any one in charge notice that the store looks like no one cares. The photos are from Thursday March 5, ,2020 about 11AM read more

They have POPCORN!!!! Other than that, it is the same as all the other Targets. Customer service is fine. They are usually stocked, but not always -same as other stores. Plenty of parking, no solicitors or people loitering outside *bonus* The new layout is odd, but I guess we'll just adjust. I'm just super happy they still have popcorn...salty, crunchy, warm....MAGIC! read more

This isnt a review towards the regular target employees, but more so towards one of the food service employee. I come sometimes to get pizza or pasta and lady whos short, fat with brown hair always gives an attitude. She never says hi or makes eye contact she just comes up to the counter and in her nasally voice says "anything else?" All rude. Terrible customer service from her. Next time she asks anything else w/ an attitude imma tell her to go fix her face and maybe the reason why the food is so low is cause shes eating all of it... if there was an option to do self checkout at the food department i would 100% use it just to avoid her and it makes her lose her job. read more

I came to this Target for the CVS pharmacy. My phone was stolen right out of back. The employees were extremely dismissive and rude to me. The pharmacy employee wouldn't even call my phone to check if it was still in the store. They refused to check the camera without a police report, and they refused after I filled one in out. read more

What's the point of online ordering and in store pick up. Email said my order will be ready in 2 hours. Waited close to 3 hours before going in store and it wasn't even picked. Order was paid online. Employee told me what isle it was on and there it was. He said I would have to pay for it again and cancel my online order to take it home. So I would have to pay double? Then wait for a refund? If they would of got it of the shelf when they promised, all of this could of been avoided. It's not like they don't have enough employees just standing around talking to each other. read more

This review is more for Starbucks then Target. This Target is great and the staff is pretty friendly. But Micaela at Starbucks- she was the shining start on this trip! I had the most frustrating experience of my life. I ordered something online for target pick up and 3 hours later I went in to pick it up and the worker CAITLYN at guest services left me in aw. She proceeded to tell me that the order wasn't ready even though I was told that it was. She then told me that if I wanted it right now, I could go get it MYSELF and cancel the online order. After 15 minutes of trying to find this table that I order, she tried to sell me a table that was half there, there was missing pieces and when I had asked if there was another one, the workers told me that was the only one and that I was SOL!!! Drew who was super helpful finally decided to give me the option to order it online and target would comp the shipping. Needless to say I spent an hour of my day in target fighting with Caitlyn from guest services regarding my order pick up. I am very disappointed in the customer service that this target offered and I will not be returning. read more

This target was a staple for me and my kids. I used to go in multiple times a week and now I really can't stand to. The remodel is HORRIBLE and makes no sense at all. Good luck finding anything. You'll be walking around in circles just to find the essentials, which are "conveniently" spread out on all corners of the store now. It has become so difficult to shop here that I go out of my way to Upland or Pomona for Target runs. Management here has always been rude and unorganized, but now the other employees are starting to be the same way. It is a shame. I love Target. DLDR: Unorganized, chaotic, unstocked, rude. read more

Ya know... I love target but their customer service leaves ALOT to be desired. So it makes me want to shop elsewhere. Nobody in store has any clue about registry problems... they just say oh.. it probably doesn't work on that item or maybe you added it too late. I call the registry number and they had to issue me a gift card for what I should have been discounted. This store, like the rest I assume, has a separate line at guest services for online pickups.. don't let that fool though! You most likely will have to get in the regular line, I guess cause they only have one person working there. Hmm.. Step it up target! ‍ read more

What a horrific mess!! I am astounded that a corporation would put so much time and money into remolding there store only to allow it look like a tornado blew through! Every single department had stuff every where. Horrible!! Won't shop at that store ever again read more

I've seen other reviews complain about the same problem: this target is never fully stocked. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day or what weekday it is, there are always shelves that are completely empty. Despite this, employees always seem to be in the middle of restocking and it can make shopping a bit difficult to maneuver around them or wait to see if they are restocking something you need. The employees are always nice I've never had a problem with them, it's management that are the problem. Either they don't order enough to fully restock or are poor in planning when/how often to restock. It's best to visit a different target to ensure you find everything you need. read more

Bridgette. Her name. Attitude. Her game. I walked in with two receipts. Both for 50 dollars each. After the recipient tried purchasing items with them they were told they have zero balance. Took my receipt and the gift cards. Verified that the balance was zero. Very kindly told me that upon purchasing a TARGET gift card at Target that they are aware of this scam. But do absolutely nothing about it. They still have hundreds of gift cards out where everyone can handle them. They do nothing to maybe put them behind the counter upon arrival and distribute as needed ? Maybe some of these people should use their head. But no. Let's leave them out and let this happen. Bridgette the very helpful manager made me aware that they are aware of this. They do nothing to help. There is no refund. It's just your loss. And that's the target customer experience. So please be wary. If your purchasing gift cards. And they are fraudulent. Target has no responsibility for this. Especially no responsibility to prevent this from happening further. What a joke. Now I was told I would get a refund. She couldn't figure it out. Eventually I was given a number. A good luck and that was that. Now it's up to me to go through this whole process to get my own money. Like always. Quick to take the cash. Quick to not verify with every customer every gift card purchased. Just to be helpful. And super slow to refund your own money. What's pity read more

Great customer service. Clean store. Organized. I live closer to the Montclair store, but that one is a mess. Like a lot of other people in this area, I drive to la Verne when I need to go to target. read more

I agree with most if the negative reviews. This place was awesome now it sucks. Sure the remodel is pretty but it's not practical. To make matters worst they got rid of a bunch of regular staple items. I kinda know where most stuff except for the womans clothing. They used to have a huge sign for clearance that disappeared. Idk...I still shop here but I dont spend as much money. The management has always been bad, corporate is no better, and employees are hit and miss. Some are great others suck, depends o the day read more

I bought a folding table from Target in La Verne. Such a simple purchase. Well when I couldn't find one on the floor, I came across a young man stocking shelves and asked if there were folding tables available. He stopped what he was doing, and walked me to the department where the table would have been. When we didn't find it, he sought out another associate in the department, who came to help me. (The first associate then went back to his restocking activity). The second associate couldn't find my table on the floor and sought out another associate (guess from the stock room) who went back and a few minutes later - my table is in his hands and he offers to carry it to the front counter. I'm saying- absolutely STELLAR customer service from those three individuals!!! read more

For years I tolerated this store with the worst customer service and high prices. I can never get a sales associate to help with anything. I was looking at storage buckets. Now if you never bought them you fortunately would not know the issue of trying to SEPARATE them and get the right cover. I was literally jumping up and down and using any "tool" I could find to reach them. I was not quiet at all. 3 associates walked right past me. Nope they did not help me. But then couldn't catch them. The service desk staff makes the fact that I am interrupting their very important social life I spent 400.00 on outside chairs and decos. Nope no help there either as I struggled to get 2 chairs in my cart. I had to use 2 carts. But don't be misled my carts were by no means full for the 400, just awkward sizes. This is not an isolated incident but there is no need for me to state them all. I'm sure you all have your own lovely memories of target Laverne. read more

I had a short 15 second interaction with a Target employee here today, which wasn't a very friendly one. I was going through the self-checkout lane, and I was trying to scan a promotional $5 gift card from my phone and I struggled for maybe 20 seconds with it. The female employee came up behind me and said, "Sir, what are you trying to do?", sounding as if I was trying to shoplift. She could have said, "Sir, can I help you with something?", but fine, that much I can give her the benefit of doubt. I told her that I was scanning my gift card, and that perhaps I need to print it out on paper and come back. She looked at the bar code on my phone and her only response was "Umm, yeahhh...that's not going to work" in the condescending and sarcastic tone of "Umm, we really don't need you welfare-receiving, coupon-cutting minorities in our fine store". Even if I am over-reacting to the racial component of this, how in the world does a Target employee not know about scanning gift cards or coupons by phone? The digital gift card reads "Scan in store to redeem", and the sign at the checkout says that I should use the price gun to scan gift cards. Her short response was all that she gave to me, rather than a "I apologize, our scanners sometimes have trouble reading those bar codes on the phone", or a "Maybe the customer service desk can help you." An annoying experience, and I'll keep an eye out on this particular store, although I'm not going to outright stop shopping at Target as of now. read more

Target is really stepping it up these days, this store is super clean and organized. I like that the fact all targets are laid out pretty much the same, it makes it very user friendly. This store has the super market in it which is great when you need some quick lunch stuff or what ever. It's got a Starbucks inside which is great for me, but I think they all do now. They always have multiple cashiers working so there is never really to long of a wait. Thumbs up Target. read more
