I decided to give this store another chance, and unfortunately, I regret doing so. I purchased a modular couch that ultimately turned out to have a broken frame. When I called customer service to address the issue, I was left on hold for 15 minutes before having to hang up without speaking to anyone. The extended warranty company later sent a technician to repair the damaged frame, but in my view, a couch that arrived with a broken frame should have been replaced outright while still under warranty. Instead, I am still fighting to have the defective section replaced due to what appears to be poor quality control and inadequate inventory standards. This experience has been extremely disappointing, especially considering this is the second time I have had issues with this store. Customers should expect better quality, accountability, and customer service when making a major furniture purchase. I would strongly encourage others to consider alternative furniture retailers that stand behind their products and prioritize customer satisfaction. The store management & corporate policy make shopping here make for a miserable experience. We saw a wall clock on the website. Did the "chat" thing to verify the clock was in stock, as the website said it was. No help. Spoke to a human, overseas, who was unable to verify the clock was in stock. Asked for the phone number of the store. He was unable to give us a number for the store. So we had to take the 30 minute drive. At the store, I approached the sales manager. Ask why we can't call the store. Says he does not have the personnel. I look around and see 6 sales people sitting around. They don't have it in stock. Ask him to call the West Covina stores. Sales tactics are aggressive and try to make you look stupid for standing firm on what you want (we told Dan we just wanted to browse and budget and see what we like and don't like, and that time was of the essence since we were purchasing for a nursery and didn't want to jump into any commitments this early in the pregnancy). He was clearly annoyed with us and tried to pressure us and make us feel like we were dumb to walk away without a purchase despite the no refund policy, even knowing where we were at at what we wanted. I ordered a dresser on November 19 and was told it would be delivered on 5 December. On the afternoon of 4 December I received a call saying that the warehouse had not received the dresser and I would have to reschedule. No one could provide any date for delivery. This is gross incompetence and should be resolved. I'm extremely disappointed with the service. I rearranged my schedule to meet the 5 December delivery. We purchased the larce sectional and Our order was incorrect, then the replacement order was cancelled mysteriously, for us to finally receive the correct order and the couch is broken and stained. To our surprise we couldn't return it, they offered to repair and clean, which is ridiculous, how are we paying so much for a couch and they can't replace it?! It makes no sense to me. Update#2 we called and complained to a manager and we were able to get the dressers and 1 nightstand. We were told we would have the bed and other nightstand by 9/17. So we're stuck sleeping on the floor for a week or 2. Now today 9/10 I get a call telling me they won't have the nightstand until 9/30 so they won't be delivering anything until the earliest 10/3! Will NEVER shop here again. UPDATE: We were scheduled to have our delivery on 9/6. It had been confirmed in store that everything was in stock (we bought the whole set, bed, dresser, chest & 2 nightstands) and via email from the delivery team to be ready for our delivery. The confirmation email states "Please ensure the delivery area is free of any existing furniture" which we've now done and due to that we are sleeping on the floor because we thought it would only be a couple days. Now 2 days before the scheduled delivery they call and tell us that they cannot deliver because they're missing the side rails and it will be at least another 2 weeks! My husband and I are old, we don't do well sleeping on a floor and having to get up multiple times a night is not easy. We're really annoyed, frustrated and disappointed in the service after we had had such a great experience with Mike in store. Mike was fantastic. Worst customer service ever! I did purchase a set of two sofas on July 7 of this year and on delivery day I was very disappointed of the poor quality of the sofas , the delivery guys were on a rush and had no clue how to assembly the recliner, the fabrics of the sofas stitches didn't aim the surface and we never realized that you can't really sit on comfortable, they are not suitable for the purpose of sitting comfortably,your body feel the heat that the fabrics materials generates. I did call customer services and I did personal went to the store to reported , I did personally spoke to the customer service and salesman lady. They mentioned that the purchase was as is and there was nothing they could do about it to fix it ,exchange or returned. The fabrics material of the sofa was never disclosed . When I called her cell phone to tell her the delivery was incorrect, she had the audacity to ask me if it was an online order....how would I have her cell if I ordered online?? She told me to come down to the store to get things figured out and I told her I wanted to speak to the Manager on two separate occasions and the Manager never called me back. I ended up going to the store and the Manager told me that he couldn't do anything for me and I had to come back the next day. The bed I purchased was delivered today. The delivery men were professional, speedy in their set up, and on their way! Ashley initially gave me a three hour window a couple of days before delivery, then early this morning began texting me updates for the delivery and a tracking code. Excellent! The manager and sales people in the store were always very helpful and easy going--as I had to delay delivery for several months and had to change the delivery address! I wish there had been a little bit more selection for beds, but I am very happy with the mattress selection. In the room, the padded headboard is simple and attractive. Here is an exact account including the VM that was left by their team for my second delivery.. the store manager told me it wasn't true and that I canceled my order because they told me they couldn't deliver on Tuesday. My first delivery on Tuesday January 9th I was brought a defective couch and their drivers tried to leave it half put together, the driver couldn't screw one of the leg on and waited until I turned my back and flipped the couch over not fully attached to my couch. He thought I wouldn't notice after watching him for 10min. It should go unsaid, that in and of itself, could have caused someone to get hurt. When I call that next afternoon to get a reschedule I'm told I would have to wait 3 weeks for something that initially only took 3 days from my purchase date. I was told to contact the store for a sooner delivery date. For 2 days I try to contact the store because customer service informed me they couldn't do anything for me. No one at your store answered the phone. I finally get a call from a Daniel who states they can deliver my couch on Tuesday.. (great all is well). Except, it isn't, at 3:15 I make a call as no one has reached out to confirm my delivery that I set with the Sales manager Ahmed on Friday at 4:30 pm. Daniel called minutes prior to that also confirming a Tuesday delivery date. Ahmed also confirmed during our call that my couch could be delivered on Tuesday and that he would refund the delivery fee of $250 for my inconvenience. Fast forward to my call today where your store manager tells me I was to blame and I canceled my order because it couldn't be Delivered on Tuesday as mentioned by both Daniel and Ahmed. Yet, I was not informed otheriwse. So I am now sitting here with 2 chairs that I no longer want because your team can't seem to do their job. The final straw in this decision, over charging me for the items I do have and also not refunding me the delivery fee I was promised as your store manager informed me on the phone. Furthermore, he tells me there is no way to contact someone above him. They don't have a business line and he can't give their "personal numbers out" well Ashley all managers should be reachable, this just further goes to show you don't give two shits about your customer or service! For future buyers please take this into consideration. I bought 10k of furniture within this past month. Everything was fine until it was delivered to my house. The movers were in a rush and noticed that they weren't being careful and when they assembled my dinning table I noticed marks and dents on my brand new table. I told them immediately that I didn't want the table. They refused to take the table back. I took pictures immediately and they also took pics. They called corporate and told them what happened. I spoke to them and told me that it would be handled in a couple of days. I waited for a call and I had to call literally at the end of next week. Spoke to there customer service and then I was transferred to another department in Asia somewhere. They refused to give me another table and told me that they can fix it and give half off. I told them no and I wanted a new table. They continued to deny my request and an asked to speak to corporate and they didn't want to give me the number. I hung up on them and called back on the 800. I spoke to another person and they still refused to give me another table until demanded to speak to a manager. They also refused and they said that they need to send a technician to look at the table. I told them they can send the tech but I will refuse the service because I want a new table. Unfortunately this happened twice. I have already taken two days of work off because you need to have a four window for them. Refused again spoke to another person and got the run around. I went to the store where I bought the furniture and spoke to store manager and it was a waist of time. I again asked for corporate number and the store manager refused to give it to me also. So I looked up corporate number and I was able to get them to give me a new table. Mind you this two weeks into this nonsense. So these last two weeks have awful also. They have cancelled twice on me and rescheduled while I took another two days off. At this point I will be calling corporate again to file a formal complaint and will be asking for a discount for all the inconvenience they have been putting me for this past month. We have made two purchases at this store. We did not have any problems the first time however today's event was unacceptable. My family and I went in to purchase furniture for our investment property. Initially everything was great. Our sales representative spent time helping us with the sofa and mattresses we got. While we were checking out, my husband went to the car to get his wallet since we forgot it in the car. Our toddler was also with us. He was getting anxious so my husband had to go out and get his water. There was a lady in front (around 5:30 pm -- 9/7/24). She Told my husband that him going in and out of the store will bring their numbers down. On our way out we let the manager know what was said to my husband and our son. He said he would talk to her and take care of it. I tried to reschedule a delivery date and they did not give me the option. So now I have these big boxes in my living room and I'm not physically capable of putting together my bedroom set. They refused to help me. I went to speak with the manager last night. He mentioned corporate does what they want and leaves the store in a bad predicament. Have to update my rating, because although I've had poor customer phone service, I've really liked the furniture I've purchased here. After not being able to get through to them, I eventually just went in and saw the chair I wanted. Very good price! And it's attractive and comfortable. Just what I wanted. It's a bit annoying that nothing is at the store for pick-up and you have to order and have everything delivered another day, but that's the way it seems to be now. I've have yet to be disappointed by a purchase.
