Because all the stores in my area have closed, I decided to take a drive to take my mom out for Mother's Day. My gosh, this store did not disappoint and is huge, like the other locations I used to visit. The store is full of a variety of home goods for your bedroom, kitchen, living room, and backyard. Prices are really good and not too expensive, which is a plus when everything is increasing. The quality of the goods is also great, and they even have well-known brands like Oxo, which is one of my favorites. The cashier was also extremely nice and friendly. We had a conversation with her, and she was great with my mom. When I am in the area, I will def make another stop or just take the drive to get the newest addition to my house. read more

Came here to run a quick errand and look at patio chairs and was taken aback by all their Halloween decor! I'm not the type to decorate for Halloween, but seeing all the options here inspired me. They have everything from super simple Halloween decor to giant lawn ornaments. I was a fan of their Vctorian era goth decor. There were zombie heads and other body part decorations, pretty skulls, Wicked themed decor, etc. They're located in kind of a dead zone/spot, where the old Sears was located and there's tons of parking. I had the most amazing experience At Home thanks to Rosie! I bought a skeleton floor lamp that was unfortunately missing an integral part of the structure due to a manufacturing mistake. I have been waiting for this product for the past year since I was not able to get it online or in store last year. Unfortunately there was no more stock online so I was unable to get a replacement. I was absolutely devastated. Lucky for me, Rosie was unpacking the remainder of the halloween decor items and found another lamp! She was able to give me a call and ensure I was able to check the product to make sure it was in good condition for me! And it was perfect! Finished my appointment at the VA next door thought I'd putter around AT Home since we don't have one near my house. After walking around an hour with 1 rug, I ended up buying a candle warmer. We have had to have our entire home remodeled due to a house fire....so I was using this rug to color match a scheme. I drove over an hour to get some last minute Christmas ornaments from this store because it said online and on their website that they close at 10 pm. I arrive at 9:11 and see the worker locking the doors behind a customer walking out and when I walked up to go inside all the doors were locked and I saw on their window they changed their closing time because it's a different color than the rest of the sign. I also tried calling the store 4 times just in case because I was driving over an hour to get there and didn't want to waste my time but no one answered. I ordered a rug online and was shipped the wrong color. When I first contacted the San Diego store that sent it no one seemed able to track the order, understand what was wrong or seem able to roll up their sleeves to solve the problem. The next day I called again and got Ken, a manager back from vacation, who immediately went into action and not only understood what was sent in error but located the one I had ordered at a different store and had it sent. I actually received the correct rug the next day! He was understanding and actually cared to make things right for me. You just don't find that level of customer service anymore! Jenni and Suzette are some of the worst management I have ever experienced. I came in to get a couple orders I had purchased online for in store pick up. One of the items was cancelled I never was notified and have proof of that via email that everything said it was ready for pick up. Annie was such a sweetheart kept apologizing for this and was so accommodating. Her managers Jenni and Suzette were toxic and made us feel like we did something wrong when we hadn't. Then my card wasn't working but when we tried it again it did. Before we did though Suzette smugly said we can put it on hold so you can call your bank but it wasn't my card that was the issue it was their system. What a horrible way to make a customer feel. Jenni and her were both judging my family and making Annie feel horrible. I later saw Annie away from the register and Suzette in her place as if she dismissed her when Annie was the one who made us feel welcome and was so kind and apologetic. One of the items we found in store was a pumpkin and even at 50% off it was $35 we asked since we can't see if it works we don't live close and you don't have batteries can you give a discount? It would be a shame to get home just to find out it doesn't work. I can give 10% she says but I'm not going to give any more than that. Suzette was nasty and her and this Jenni are bullies and toxic management the vibe was palpable. I feel for Annie they had already yelled at her twice for insignificant things that morning alone. Enough is enough don't expect good service from those two but look for Annie that is if they don't fire her before them for their own incompetence. This is has it all! I found great items for my backyard! Items like furniture, dish-ware, cups, lights and items for the grill. You can spend hours in here. I found a beautiful planter for my plants at a reasonable cost. The appearance of the store is very neat and orderly. The selection of candles is large. I actually love this place, in the sense that it had a specific item I was on the prowl for. It was kind of a spur of the moment visit when I went but I sure am glad I did, well kind of spur of the moment as someone sent me the item while I was on the back end of a training session at the local muscle maker, I asked where exactly can I grab that item at and they said they think it was at this place so I looked up where and what exactly At Home was and to my pleasant surprise it was only like 10 minutes from where I was at, so as soon as I was done I went and checked out the store and luckily they had the item that I was recommended. The only downside is that it seems to be hit or miss with the pricing on some of the items, as some seem like a pretty good deal and then some might leave you scratching your head a bit. I found what I was looking for so overall I was satisfied. I still need to put my actual lights up but when I went back to grab what remaining lights I needed, in the few days that it took me to find some free time to make it back down there, the ones I needed were already gone, but that's more my fault as I should have just bought extras when I went the first time (rookie mistake, even tho I'm no rookie which makes it even more of a mistake and pretty much just being careless or even some might say stupid) so I won't hold that against them. I do look forward to checking this place out after the holiday season to see what kind of items they have In place where all the Christmas decor currently is, for the simple fact that it pretty much seems to take up like half the store right now(if not more). But if you're in the need or want of Christmas items I would definitely swing inside or just walk or run or wheel, whatever you get the point and take a gander. I will say if I was one of those people I probably would be giving you guys a pretty poor rating, like come on now replace the tag at least don't just cover it up with a easily removable sticker, I mean ideally I'd say don't even raise the prices like that but whatever if you are then at least don't incriminate yourselves. Every item has a new price sticker over the official At Home price, with the new sticker we being $5-$20 higher than the original price. I was drawn to this place randomly and was excited to see what they had. I love their variety of colors and themes which allows you to get exactly what you want! The prices are kind of random it seems like though, and while there are good deals on things like rugs and fake plants and some furniture, other things like their decorations and paintings (that are the exact same ones at hobby lobby for 1/2 the price) are a bit overpriced.
