I stopped going to Walmart years ago. Target is expensive but otherwise very pleasant. The staff, however (a select few of them) aren't much help at all. Let's just say that the store is well laid out and many the prices on household items are difficult to beat. I just visited this location and might I add were here often. Between the Pomona and La Verne location we visit at least 5 times a week. I went to the check stand and the cashier named Sabrina with bright pink hair , was near the other lane chit chatting but I waited for her to come ring me up since her light was on. She never greeted me and I asked twice if I could have a bag . During my checkout process she continued her conversation with the person in front and behind and my transaction was completed and she still had her back turned away from me . I was so agitated I just had surgery last week and I just wanted to get back home . I had to cut her off and ask for my receipt . Terrible customer service I hope the La Verne location steps it up and relays the message to this employee! read more

I drove from Rancho Cucamonga to shop at this Target because I was told about their cleaning and mask policy. This will be my new store , first of all they have somebody wiping down each and every cart. Secondly every employee and customer had on a mask and third they have someone standing at the lines to make sure everyone is social distancing. Also they were wiping down the conveyor belt between each person. Every single employee I came in contact with and the manager were very friendly and helpful. Great job Target!! read more

My mom took my 13 year old school shopping yesterday, and once she got to the cashier she wrote a check... for $109. She is old school, no ATM cards etc.. they REFUSED to accept her check, without even checking her ID or giving any explanation other than they had no history with her, WHICH is utterly insane, because she shops there ALL the time. Instead they pressured her to open a "Red Card" to pay for the merchandise. Target, if you have a policy about CHECKS, it should be POSTED where the patrons can SEE IT. We will not be shopping at your store any longer. read more

Really really like this Target. This was one of the Targets that became the SUPER Target... it has all the groceries, FRESH veggies and fruits. It seems very clean and more organized. Also... everything seems to be more feng shui. I'm happy to hear that all the Targets will be like this soon. read more

I love this target as its in a convenient location and of course clean and orderly as nearly all target locations are. It is an exemplary alternative experience to walmart; as most shoppers are looking for when visiting a target location. I might add that the parking is situation is very plentiful and easy to access to disabled guests. (its a little known fact as well that on the 4th of july the firework show at the nearby high school can easily be spectated from the parking lot) ;) read more

Not sure about the layout of this store...kind of confusing. Then when you ask for help to find something from an associate, they're rude and dismissive. YES, I'm speaking of you, lady in the electronics department. When I asked you where office supplies were, you just rudely pointed, like 'over there', didn't even bother to look at me. Uh, no. That's not how it's done. Even at WalMart they walk you to it. The check-out clerk was only slightly better. Some of you all need to take a crash course in customer service. Managers/trainers, do you job and teach these people to provide service with a smile or people will take their $$$ elsewhere. read more

I really can't complain. I haven't really had problems at target. The employees are pretty decent and friendly. I have gotten there late, near closing time. I know that everyone is being stretched. However ; I've always experienced that everyone is nice to me even when I've been the last customer at the end of the day. It's not too far from where I live. What is the use of having an ad if you don't have product available in the ad. It's Sunday at 8 am (1st day of ad, right when store opens) and they're telling me it's on the truck come back in the afternoon. This review is solely for the CVS pharmacy located inside Target. I was at the CVS down the street trying to get my prescriptions filled when I was notified to go to the CVS inside TARGET because they had both my prescriptions available. Before I even got there I received a call from a pharmacy tech leaving me a voicemail informing me on how much the medication would be and that there may be a cheaper alternative. Once I got there he let me know that one particular medication was $200 WITH insurance coverage, that I would've been over $600 without! The pharmacist Tagui offered to call my doctor to see if there was a more affordable alternative. My doctor ended up changing the prescription to one that cost $7.80... I am so thankful for such genuine people who seem to truly care about doing what's right for their clients. They really deserve more than 5 stars. read more

I love coming here to get cat food it's across the street and it's convenient. I get all my cat essentials here because they offer everything I need for my pet supplies. I remember getting an interview with two managers that are still there and they didn't hire me so it's awkward every time I see them there. I was on my phone listing the details for the next interview and apparently it looked unprofessional even after I asked the interviewer if it was ok. I have bad memory and it was really hard to find a way to make it work lol but thanks again lol I love Target. That won't stop me from shopping there. But when I do returns it's always simple and easy. I feel like returning items is never a hassle at this store. The techs are informative when I bought my laptop. The pharmacy was sort of odd but I might give it a chance later on. Too many complications with getting Kaiser connected to this pharmacy for my medicines. There really isn't a customer connection with some of the associates there. I walked by a cashier and they turned their light off on me and they had nobody. So kind of weird. I don't see that associate there much so maybe I wasn't the only one he was doing that to. Bottom line good store always clean but bathrooms sometimes need help. There has to be something so that when it's smelly there's a glade in there that takes care of it. That would just go above and beyond. read more

DO NOT CARPOOL TO THIS STORE!!!! I love Target and always shop there, but i had the worst experience today. iPad mini on sale $199 great price. My mother in law was buying one for her grandchild birthday, and i was buying one for my son. DID NOT HAPPEN. We live in two different cities, but because we carpooled 40 minutes to get to a store that was the only one with 20 iPad in stock, they could only sell us one. They said it was one per household, which I understand give fair chance to other costumers, but we are two seperate individuals, buying for two seperate people, living in two seperate cities. read more

I have been coming to this Target for more than 10 years. It has gone through some recent changes that seem to be negatively impacting it's operation, most noticeably in the grocery dept. So many items out of stock that I don't even try anymore, and be sure to check expiration dates on perishables. This is a result of poor management. Period. Jan at customer service is probably the worst Target experience I've encountered to date. We were told by another rep that Customer Service will be able to ring us up. We went, and Jan was quiet while ringing us up, then decides to blurt out "Yeah.. we normally don't ring up more than 10 items here". We apologized and said we didn't know. Then she replies "It's okay" in the most condescending way possible, then proceeds with ringing up the rest of items with extremely dissatisfied look on her face. We felt that Walmart customer service has been improving while Target customer service has been declining. Jan is a perfect example of the said decline. read more

I had the WORST experience shopping at this Target today. I had about six things in my cart, and I had Target and manufacturer coupons for some of the items. Target's coupon policy is to allow one Target coupon and one manufacturer item per item. When I went through the check-out lane, the extremely rude cashier said that I wasn't allowed to use both coupons. I asked her if Target had recently changed their coupon policy because I had used the same method a few days prior in the same exact store. She said no, rolled her eyes, and looked at me like I was an idiot. I said that it was fine, but I no longer wished to purchase the products if I wasn't able to use the coupon. She proceeded to speak with another cashier, who assured her that I was correct and was able to use the coupons. My rude cashier began to argue with the other cashier telling her loudly that we were wrong and she wasn't going to get in trouble for us. I reminded her that it was fine, but I no longer wished to buy the products. The other cashier just told my rude cashier to ring the coupons up- She sighed and proceeded to do so, and then decided again that I wouldn't be able to use them. She spoke to me as if I was a little child, saying that I couldn't use the coupons because it would be over the product's price. I reminded her of Target's coupon policy, which will automatically change the coupon price after it's scanned to simply make the product free instead of giving extra credit on your purchase. She lectured me again, and I reminded her yet again in a calm voice- that's fine, but I do not wish to purchase the products. She then proceeded to become even snippier-"What, you don't want any of this?" I told her no, I've told you several times that it's not a big deal but I don't want to purchase any of these products, and I'd like my coupons back. She collected the coupons up and shoved them in my hands- again reminding me that I was wrong and should just buy the products. I told her that it was fine, but I'll just purchase the products at another Target that will honor Target's coupon policy. She shot me an extremely rude look and rolled her eyes. I tried several times to get her to cancel the purchase and return my coupons because there were so many people in line, and I didn't want to hold up the line- but she refused to do so and kept trying to ask other cashiers- who ended up telling her that I was right, yet she refused to listen to them either. Even the customers behind me were rolling their eyes at the cashiers rudeness. I will not be returning to this Target if the cashiers intend to treat customers following Target's policies as thieves or crooks. I am not trying to rob Target- Target is fully aware of manufacturer coupons and adjust their sale prices and Target coupon offers accordingly. In addition, Target gets reimbursed for all manufacturer coupons, so even if I get a product for free, Target still gets paid in the end. I will be speaking to Target's Customer Service department, and I will not be returning to this location. read more

I love me some Target and as Targets go, this one is A-OK. It's nowhere near close to me as I live in San Luis Obispo and it's not the closest to my parents in Glendora, as San Dimas and Azusa are closer. I found what I was looking for easily and managed to walk out only with what I needed, for once. I'm sad the Halloween section was gutted, with the exception of a couple Halloween costumes. Target is really stepping it up these days, this store is super clean and organized. I like that the fact all targets are laid out pretty much the same, it makes it very user friendly. This store has the super market in it which is great when you need some quick lunch stuff or what ever. It's got a Starbucks inside which is great for me, but I think they all do now. They always have multiple cashiers working so there is never really to long of a wait. Thumbs up Target. read more

I like coming to this Target. It's very convenient to work so if I need to run errands during lunch I can. I also like the staff, they're friendly and really go out of their way to help you. One night when my Dad was down here for the wedding, one of the workers searched for an item for us that my Dad desperately needed to help him sleep at night. The store was completely out, but the worker checked the inventory and even went into the back storeroom. He wasn't able to locate the item, but the effort was much appreciated. read more

I bought a digital download game from Target San Dimas as a Christmas gift. I was unaware I needed to keep the receipt to download the game. (There are no signs and the cashier didn't say anything). When I went back to get a copy of the receipt a supervisor was unable to help me but told me to call guest relations and they could look it up. I called guest relations and they said they had no way of looking it up and I would need to go to the store to print it up. They also said I could go to any store to look it up. I went to Target La Verne and a manager (Seth) helped me out and solved the problem for me. Great help. I'll be shopping at La Verne Target from now on. read more

This was once the worse Target store with very bad employee attitudes. They brought in new staff and now are undergoing a major renovation. Great customer service from Vince, and lady with the tattoos at the returns counter. Cashiers are still pretty bad but better than before. Dude like Brian In the electronics section has no customer skills or seem to care -- probably should do something else. The Starbucks coffee stand is always great -- I think Starbucks trains its employees well and make good hiring decisions. read more

This is a nice target. Its pretty much your run of the mill target. Though I've really begun to enjoy there grocery section. The customer service is so so, some are better than others. This targets a great place to pick up dvds, buy a bag of target's famous popcorn, and print your photos. But remember they're super picky on returns..... read more

What can I say its a target with an upcoming grocery store inside. It's your typical target. This one is very clean, everything stocked appropriately, the few employees I did talk to were helpful.
