This Target is by far my favorite place to shop. For the most part, I can usually get all of my household items here. I do love the app because I love the fact that I can place an order and receive it in 2 hours or less. Also, the app allows shoppers to get deals that reimburse with gift cards. Unlike many places, there is no minimum. Yes! My family mostly use drive up. The people who bring the items to the car are genuinely sweet. I've never had a bad experience. There is one caveat- this Target's customer service and curbside service is exceptional which is something that I have gotten consistently from the other Targets in the area. Conveniently located beside the depressing practically abandoned Esplanade Mall. I shop here at least once a week. Ample parking as far as the eye can see! Lighting is great at night. Never had any issues to speak of whenever I come to shop. Store is clean, well stocked and pretty much carry most essential items. Employees are readily available, always pleasant and willing to assist. Good selection of everything you need from personal care items to fresh fruits and vegetables. Pretty comparable on price with other big box retailers. I like that they typically have some special going on that consists of receiving a Target Gift Card for purchasing a certain amount of a particular product. You can really rack up big savings and stock up on certain products. If you join Target circle you can find additional coupons and rewards for in-store, curbside or delivery. read more

I don't know if its because of the location or what, but I like this Target better than the one at Clearview Mall. Parking is easier (at least at the times I have been here), aisles seem wider, selection better, just all sorts of things. It has been quiet every time I have come. My most recent visit was on a Sunday morning before the mall had actually opened, so that may be part of the reason, but the mall this is attached to is kind of a dead mall. This store may be one of the major reasons why this mall is still even open. Any way. There are some bad apples on staff here, but for the most part things run smoothly. The restrooms can get kind of dirty, but they are quick to fix any issues. There are not a lot of people working the floor, but that seems to be an issue with a lot of stores in the greater New Orleans metro area, not specific to here. read more

This is my normal Target. I visit regularly and have always appreciated its convenience and cleanliness. Last few visits have been not as pleasant. I stopped by around 12:30 on 31-Jan-19 to pick up a few things. Shopping carts were pretty dirty and many with trash in them. Then there is no wipes to clean it at all, which has been pretty consistent the last couple of visits. That just gives an initial impression of not interested in caring. It's around lunch on a Thursday, store is not busy, but crew members just paired up in a few places shooting the breeze. Do my shopping and on 4 different aisles there is restocking happening with aisles blocked and no one bothered about moving to allow access to needed items on shelf. At checkout, person was not interested at all. It was not a good experience at all. read more

I like that this one is never too crowded. Target seems to get things that Wal-Mart and Winn Dixie do not carry, like some Keto friendly products. Target is usually on the more pricey side so I try to just buy when there are sales. One down side is you usually have to wait to check out because since it's not really busy there is usually only one or two aisles open. read more

Everyone has been raving about this jumbo (for the GNO) super-target, but I was like well this alright. I wasn't super impressed with the stock and the one thing I needed from the grocery section (a lemon cake mix), they didn't have. I found some of the things I needed but ultimately this location is just too far from home to be my regular store...but if I ever decide shop on the way home from the airport again, I'll definitely stop in. read more

Having a small child makes the Metairie Target a pain in the butt... have to either wait FOREVER for the elevator, or take the kid out of the cart and use the escalator since it is 2 stories high. The Westbank location never has as much awesome stuff in stock as the Metairie one, though, so it was always my one-stop-shop on the weekends. I am SO grateful for the new Kenner location! It has just about everything that the Metairie one has (oh, and more, since it has a cafe with Starbucks and Pizza Hut)... and it's only one floor. Yay! Fresh groceries, too, which is what the Westbank location was lacking up until about a week ago. If the rumors are true about them converting the Dillards at this mall to a Kohls, I may never leave the Esplanade Mall because I love this Target, and I love Kohls too. read more

This target visit was the worst retail experience I've had in many years. Took over an hour to purchase one item and price match. Every employee save for one was rude and argumentative. I was able to ultimately buy what I came to get. I normally shop at the Metairie location and have always had a good experience. My experience at the Kenner location was the worst. 10/10 wouldn't do again. read more

This Target is about a bajillion times better than the Metairie location. The Kenner Target is not loud and chaotic, its actually quite peaceful. I have gone here a few times at various times and days and each time it was a breeze. I was able to move my cart in and out of every lane with ease and never run into any road blocks or traffic jams. Atlas, I was able to find out what it was like to shop at a Target with no escalator. Everything is on one single floor, the way it should be. They also have a larger grocery section, but its still not a super Target so it won't have everything, but will have your essentials. After telling my husband how nice this Target was he had to see it for himself. The first thing he said when we walked it was, "Are they about to close?" I said, no...it's just that nice and quiet. They have a Starbucks inside so you can peruse each aisle with your favorite latte. Even though Starbucks is not my first choice when it comes to coffee, its very nice to have it as an option. They also have the target cafe which sells various things including Pizza Hut just in case you spend too much time inside and need subsistence ASAP. My husband loves their popcorn for a dollar and basically can't shop at Target without it now. The checkout has never been an issue as the longest I have ever had to wait was 5 minutes (if that). Parking is also hassle free. So its basically Disney World for adults. read more

Yesterday I literally left a basket full of groceries while checking out at Target because the cashier was being condescending & obnoxious. I was in line and 6 feet away from a customer who was leaving. I put a few things a few items on the back end of the conveyor belt and the cashier told me I needed to remove them because the lady had not walked off. I did what she asked. She sprayed down the area where she worked and the credit card machine but where I put groceries she never came to spray so I didn't know why I had to literally remove the items and wait for her to call me. After she starts checking out my groceries she tells me I can't have more then two cases of water. Now I'm annoyed because there was "NO" sign by the water saying there was a limit. It's not what you say it's how you say. Target put bigger signs by the check so folks can read they need to wait to be called to check out and put signs by the water there is a limit!!!! read more

Went a little before 9am and had to wait because they are only letting the elderly in from 8-9. As I stood there I watched 3 men younger than me come out without masks on. When I asked the woman at the door she said they were construction workers. It makes no sense to allow young people without masks to be around the elderly and make others who are following the guidelines to wait. I can't understand that rationale read more

I love this Target! It's big and conveniently attached to the Esplanade mall. It's also very clean and not too crowded unlike the Clearview target which is too overwhelming with merchandise and people. Also, this Target has some of the most helpful employees! I drive 10 minutes to visit this target instead of the one on Veterans (it's far too busy). It's well maintained and pretty well stocked.

The cool thing about this target other than being target is that it connects to a mall (The Esplanade) so you can just walk right out of target and into said mall. That's a convenience thing to me. Now the target itself is a little bit in disarray. Drink before coming here. Things seem like they are in random places and I'm still looking for the posters .... to this day. Apparently they are just online or that item is a running joke with the staff there. Oh, and there's never anybody to help you find stuff unless maybe you scream. Note: I haven't tried that yet but there's been several times when I came close. I mean ... I just can't find anyone to show me to the posters. I found a cool Bob Ross poster at a target in Memphis. You see, in Memphis you can find the posters in target. Kenner ... not so much. There's a huge selection of alcohol at the Kenner target, which you will need if you find yourself looking everywhere for posters in there. Checkout is depressing because they - like ugly stepsister walmart - only open about 1/12th the amount registers needed to check you out. The redeeming factor here is that they don't pat you down like you're going back to your cell when you leave like they do at WM. So they get four stars for not doing stop and frisk, being good at hiding posters, keeping a solid booze selection and having a door connecting to the dying mall next door, which has a bungie jump thing which is fun when you've been drinking and looking for posters in target to no end. read more

This place is like a library...I could probably curl up in the book section with a good book and never be bothered. Since it is located in an abandoned mall, there is hardly a time where it is very crowded, unlike the Clearview location. They are always fully stocked and everything is organized. The lines are never long, and to make it even better you can grab a Starbucks coffee or popcorn to enjoy your relaxing shopping experience. You never have to hunt for parking or worry about seeing 1,000 people you know (unless all of your friends are ghosts). This is the only Target I will go to now! read more

I came all the way from the Westbank to find baby items that weren't available at the Harvey and Metairie Targets. This store is cleaner and more organized than the other stores. And the fact that most of my items were on clearance helped cushion the blow that I had to travel further to find what I was looking for. read more

The good thing about this store location is that there is 3 restaurants around that area so when your done shopping you can grab something to eat. I really wish I could make this my 1 stop shopping store. The "fresh" food is expired, you have to watch the dates carefully. The produce has mold, the organic lunch meat is discolored. The dairy is questionable. The milk cooler stinks of rotten milk. The staff doesn't know where any thing is. It's like the store that corporate forgot.
