Target is nice because it's like a clean, decent, up-scale Walmart for respectable people who have a full set of teeth and no wheels on their home. I have seen ghetto Targets, but they are thankfully few. There is one closer to my apt., but this one's in a nice, upper middle class part of the 'burbs and so it's the one I like. The prices at Target are higher than Walmart, but so is the quality (products AND clientele). The store isn't 24 hour, so they can stock shelves overnight and not clutter all the aisles so customers can't get around the store. Staff are reasonably knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. Are you reading this, Walmart? Target has attractive, good quality stuff at an affordable price. What more could you want? Ooooo!! And this one has a mini Pizza Hut in it!! Mmmm, pizza!! read more

Went into the store to buy a gift card. As I was searching, about 4 employees between the boys and bath aisle were just casually conversing, and very loudly at that. I was just at this location purchasing tampons. I am not embarrassed to be a woman or speak about my period but when I'm in line and the female cashier purposefully points out my box of tampons and makes it in to a joke to the (male) stranger in front of me its pretty embarrassing. So distasteful so uncalled for! Find another way to connect or joke with your customer not via my tampons. read more

I always come here if I feel like theres a rush hour at Walmart. Prices are a bit pricier but checkout line is fast. It's a lot more cleaner and organized which is a plus for me when I need to go look for something . read more

This Target store has no wow to it but there service and presence are not bad. I can not explain my experience at this store in any glorified light but to justify the fact that there prices are fair, there are never any long lines, the parking is to my comfort and there are no inconvenient baskets located all over the place unlike the Walmart dunvale location. I usually shop here every other week on random days in the evening. This target is my secondary place to shop. read more

I loveeee Target (or shall I say, Tarjay). I do NOT go to Walmart except to visit the vending machine outside the building for a 50 cent soda. Why would you EVER go to Walmart?? Lol. I do not care how much money I will save or what sale they have, I refuse to go to Walmart. I actually haven't been inside one in over 4 years. Target is very similar in its offerings, but it excels where Walmart drops the ball--customer service. From the moment you enter the building, you will not feel like you're in a crowded super center. Target is more of an upscale Walmart where the staff actually helps and enjoys doing it! You don't have to wander the aisles looking for an item. You won't be ignored, and you most definitely won't wait 20 minutes in line at the cash register...you won't even wait 10! As soon as there are three people in line, the cashier will call for backup! At Walmart, there will be 25 people in line with 2 lanes open. I'm not sure of the price differences because I don't shop at Walmart, but from my experience, the quality of products is better AND I will gladly pay more for good service. #TeamTarjay read more

Just had a wonderful experience with one of your cashiers, Bill. He was very pleasant and kind and told me he was slowly getting the hang of everything. When I asked what he used to do before, he mentioned something about the securities business for many years and then retired. Getting bored being retired, he decided to find a job to take up some of his time. So here he is at Target learning the job duties. Most cashiers will just scan and go without really engaging with the person in front of them or talking with other cashiers in the area. Granted he still needs a little more training on the whole cashiering thing, but it's he's soft spoken demeanor and genuine customer service that will keep me coming back to this location. read more

I've NEVER been to a Target I didn't like until I got to this one. There was one register open and one person monitoring the self-check out. He insisted we check out at customer service and as soon as we went there, the customer service person just walked away. So we went back to self check out. We needed assistance but there was no one around. So we left half the products there and continued to check out at a different kiosk. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. read more

I love Target, but I've been calling every department in this store for the last 20 minutes. The phone just rings for minutes on end and then hangs up on me. No one has answered except the pharmacy, who tells me they can't do anything to help me get someone on the phone unless a manager just happens to walk by. I wish target would go back to their golden days stocked shelves, great deals, multiple cashiers, great customer service etc. this company is slowly deteriorating becoming worst than Walmart. Now shelves are always empty, there's always only one or two cashiers and the prices use to be closer to Walmart and Kroger but now some items are just way over priced, and the great customer service is completely gone. I've tried and tried to keep shopping here but now I guess I'll have to shop at multiple stores because I don't like shopping at Walmart and only some krogers have there full line of general merchandise. Incompetent customer service. I ordered multiple things online, one of which was in-store only for pickup. After receiving the email that my item was ready for pickup (and another email saying I only had one more day to pick up my item before the order was cancelled), I went to this location to pick up my item. They had put on hold a totally different item and were sold out of the item I had ordered. So after an hour wasted at customer service, they cancelled the item from my order and I left empty handed. I must agree with Sara M. - this Target's pharmacy staff are straight up awesome! Pharmacists Elaine and Robin really care about their clientele. They always take the time to counsel me on my prescriptions before I leave. Elaine even greets my guy and I by name when she sees us in the aisles just doing our regular shopping! I love, love, love Target and this location is close to my office. I can always find a salesperson on the floor if I need help finding something. I also like the fact that they have a grocery section with a wide variety of produce and snacks to choose from. They also carry bulks of snack items which is great for the office. read more

Nicest Target ever. I had 3 interactions with clerks. One man who was very diligent in asking people if they needed help asked me... said no. Few minutes later I was walking out and realized I needed paper plates. He took me to the back and showed me to the product aisle. Sorry forgot his name. Then was leaving again and realized I needed something else. Ran into Hazim who helped. Then my check out clerk lady was super nice too. This Target is extremely disorganized, and has very little selection. The shelves are half empty, and everything is mislabeled/misplaced. Overall, Target is one of my favorite stores, but this particular location fails to meet my needs time and time again. Instead of going to this one, go to the Walmart just down the street off Dunvale. It's more crowded, but at least everything is in stock. read more

Compared to the other Target that I go to at Memorial City Mall (truly the depths of hell), it's so much more calm, has MUCH better parking, excellent selection, nicer employees with an easy to work with customer service center, a STARBUCKS, and maybe most importantly-quick checkouts. CRAZY TARGET LADY! I probably channel her a lot when I'm in this store. I like this location because it is very close to me and it is extremely clean. I usually find what I want and be able to feel safe in it. All targets have amazing customer service and their return transactions are always extremely fast. They have a mini grocery section so you can always grab little things that you need. I always enjoy spending my time at this target! My latest trip to this Target was unbelievably horrendous. First, I wanted to return an item. When I got to the Guest Services booth no one was there. I stood there about 4 minutes until an employee walked up and instead of helping me this person just told me someone would be over to help me soon. Then another employee showed up, asked if someone had helped me yet and I said no, and this second employee ALSO just said someone would be there soon to help me. After standing around about 7 minutes an employee finally showed up who knew how to do a return. It was very irritating having to stand there that length of time to wait for an employee to show up who could actually help me. Second, I wanted to print out my friend's baby registry. This is where the real nightmare began. When I first tried to print the registry some kind of error occurred, and a white screen popped up describing the error and there was a large message stating that an employee would assist me soon to resolve the problem. So once again, I was stuck just standing there waiting for someone's help. I waited awhile and after realizing that no one was actually coming, I motioned to an employee and he walked over to me and read the error on the screen and said that I would have to wait for someone else stating that he's "not good at that kind of stuff." I waited some more, and motioned to yet another employee that I needed help. He got the registry to print, but as I flipped through it I realized that all but one of the pages was blank! They had the page number and date on them but that was it. He didn't know what was wrong and suggested I try the other computer and then walked off. So I tried to print the registry on the second computer (whose touch screen was not working and the scrolling roller ball was not working the way it should have been either) and sure enough this second computer froze before I could print the registry. As usual no employees were around and so I figured I would try my luck on the first computer again. Alas, this computer froze too. So I had no choice but to stand there and hope the ONE employee who knew something about these registry computers would come back. He did, and he finally was able to get the registry to print. So all in all, it took about 35 minutes for me to return one item and print one person's registry. I am baffled that there were employees around and yet none of them seemed to know how to do anything. I will NEVER attempt to print out a registry at Target again, I never imagined so many things could go wrong while trying to print a few pieces of paper. Lastly, this Target is like Wal-Mart in that there were a ton of empty shelves and extremely cluttered and disorganized. If you ever come here in need of a certain lipstick, foundation, etc. there is a 99% chance they won't have your color. I also had a hell of a time finding any of the things on the baby registry because as I said there were just a ton of empty shelves and NOTHING was where it should have been. I am really bummed about this Target because I live about 3 minutes away, but this one truly sucks. read more

Went in for a new tv today, GLAD I DID! Got a beautiful new 49" 4K television! The best part is I scored it on sale! Looks beautiful in my house with great image. All 3 of the associates in the electronics were beyond helpful, one girl went to the back for the tv and another guy took it to my car and put it in for me! (I've bought electronics from Walmart and if you want to save that $10 expect at least 45-1 hour wait) I wasn't in target more than 15min! Thanks y'all! read more

Today I cannot give one star to this target store The only reason one shows is that you can't post a review without marking a star.. They are completely undermanned. They have one register open with a very elderly gentleman who I'm sure is a nice guy but he cannot handle any speed or volume at all. The line was backed up the store did not bother to open a second register.There were two long lines at the customer service counter. And if there is a manager in the store they are not customer oriented. The gentleman at the register had to walk over to the customer service counter to find out information about a product that the customer in front of me wanted to purchase. Someone walked back with him, it may have been a manager but she could've cared less about the line. I left my basket of merchandise which was full to the brim and left the store when I saw how things are being handled. I don't have 10 minutes to stand in line because of incompetence, Lack of good management in the store and a paucity of employees. If this store expects to succeed with the holiday season coming, Corporate management better step in. If I ran my business like that I would not have any customers. read more

I had the link to a registry with Target for my son and daughter in law's home warming gifts. I chatted online with the Target registry dept before I left and they said I just had to tell the cashier that these items were on a registry and to show that they were purchased and if they didn't have a registry at that store I could call them back and they'd remove them - so the cashier was very rude - And said I had to go to the registry and have it printed up on paper, they couldn't use the link on my Iphone which is the very same. I told him well go ahead and ring them up so I could call the registry andhave them remoe them but he refused he would not ring up any of my items. A woman with no name tag who refused to give her name came and said she was the head manager of the store and that if I wanted to buy anything I had to go to the registry first and get a paper printed up they had to go by paper they couldn't use the link on my phone to the target registry list though it's the exact same thing. I am handicapped so having to start standing in a line all over again and then come back to the registry with the paper was just too much and it goes against Target policy, I met another woman at the registry dept who also claimed she was the head manager of the store later I found out that the main manager wasn't there. She kept lying and lying, she also said they couldn't use the list on the phone, it had to be printed on paper. She said the link online was just images which is a lie, I showed her all the information it had. She continued just lying. I'm never going back there. read more

With a Walmart right down the street, it's nice to have a very clean and organized Target! I just wish that they planned how many people they have working the registers at certain times in the day. Terrible experience coming here. Customer service people are rude and saw me and my son waiting forever and they were still working on their go backs with out even acknowledging me. This Target is a mess. Not much of a selection with groceries. The shelves have stuff thrown on them. Towels were just thrown on the shelf.
