Used to LOVE this Target. Today they discriminated against teachers. They had an error on their ad ; the online ad said to purchase in store. It read 4 spiral notebooks for $.50 but the photo was four comp notebooks for $.50. Numerous Targets through the Valley are honoring the ad despite the error. The manager at the Henderson Lake Mead store refused to honor the ad. This is wrong! And bad for teachers. So the Green Valley/Horizon Ridge Store got my business today. read more

So im really upset with how tonight went.... Ive been a customer at this location for 3 years now (i live right across the street, so its convenient) well tonight i didnt know they were closing at 7 due to riots going on around the world because of the murder of george floyd.... i got there at 6:55. Was told they close in 5 minutes... great... i had to rush... i had all but 2 things on my list at 7. An employee approaches me and asks if i need help finding anything cause they are closed now... i said yes... he asked what the item was an says oh no i dont think we have those in stock... didnt look it up, didnt take me to the aisle to look, justba straight up no were out... for both items i asked. Then he proceeds to say but im goinna have to ask you to leave because were closed. Its literally 7... not 705. So i go okay i am.... as im walking to check out... there it is one of the items i was asking for... a whole endcap FULL of them.... so this employee didnt even TRY.. he lied to rush me out of the store.... im a mom of a newborn and 3 year old... i work.... and my only time to do my shopping is after 630 since i cant take my newborn out during this pandemic.... and because i work till 6.... so to have 5 minutes for me to shop is rediculous let alone rushing me and practically pushing me out the door when i literally just needed 2 more things... i get it, and understand this whole closing early thing and if i had like a whole shopping list but i didnt i have a hand basket with 5 things in it and 2 more items on my list to get... which i only got 1 of.... i was so uncomfortable and felt like a burden there.... i wont be returning to this location. I used to love this target but it has gone way down hill in the last year. The shelves are always a disaster, out of stock products regularly & although employees can be seen everywhere just wandering around, you can't get help when you need it. Last week my son & I waited for over 5 minutes to pay for a Pizza Hut pizza. No one acknowledged us, nor did anyone ever come to assist us. Even before the quarantine, I do drive up pickup orders to save time while running errands and literally no one has greeted me or even smiled. They just scan my phone, hand me my bags, and stroll away. I love Target stores. Rarely have I come across a location that I wasn't pleased with. The atmosphere of Target is just so, well, anti-Walmart, it's breathtaking! I love the selection of items and the sales they have. Some things are going to be a bit pricier than Walmart, but I really don't mind. It's the exchange of shopping in a clean environment with normal customers I consider myself paying for. This location is very well kept. It's organized, well stocked and very clean. Your typical Target shopping experience. I have only come across one Target that I didn't really care for, so those aren't bad odds at all! I'll be shopping this location again. I have always liked Target. This is a nice location, sort of tucked away and secluded. I prefer that. I have bought everything from linens, to car oil, clothes and cosmetics here. This review is for the pharmacy inside this Target. I recently stopped in to get my annual flu shot. The pharmacy intern who helped me was super friendly. When she learned that I was going to be paying out of pocket she searched for coupons. I managed to save a bit of money with a coupon that she found. I can't say the flu shot itself was painless but the process of getting the shot was painless. There was virtually no line, the entire process took less than 10 minutes and I was on my way. To top it off I got a $5 Target gift card just for getting my flu shot. read more

I am so disappointed in this Target, it is ridiculous!! The lack of customer service is appalling!! I've had multiple issues at this location with guest services. My most recent issue; my mother sent clothes for Christmas for my kids but order a size too small. This location does not keep toddler clothes in stock (especially boys) so i had to a gift card and order online. I go to order online and they gift card they've given me has a 0 balance and I just scratched it to reveal the numbers! I'm so frustrated with this location and at this point feel like I will just have to go out further to get better customer service. (They usually don't even apologize for their mistakes) read more

Wow. Don't chance arriving EIGHT minutes early. Yes... 8!!!! With a 13 month old baby!!!!! Eric, the manager will literally make the little one wait outside. In 100 degree heat. Because of "LIABILITY." I literally asked if he could wait in the entrance so he could just be in the AC but he said "no." Wow. As a MOM, I'm not quite sure what the increased "liability" of having a baby inside your store 8 minutes before you open... Am I missing something? Or would it be more of a press story for that a child had heatstroke because you wouldn't let him stand in the little glass opening for 8 minutes...but good job! Target is a little bit safer. I don't see how this particular target store could get any negative reviews this has been my target for the past six years and I have never had any issues at the store I am at a point where I was starting to get to know everyone that worked there. There is a Starbucks located within target and The employee attitude is pretty mediocre but it's easy to find someone working I never use their pharmacy before They do not offer pizza or popcorn at this location This is a far better target then many others that I visited the only thing wrong with this target is that it's not 24 hours and I would like it to be that during the holidays they are open very late and I love it! read more

Still a 5-star rating because I love this Target. I'm always here!!! Dollar section towards the entrance has gotten better but still needs a little work! I wish people did not throw things everywhere so that I could easily look through items rather than rummaging through them. Anyways, there's always a lot of sales whether it's on cartwheel or just store sales which I live for. Another thing I love is that it's never busy when I go! This review is for the store as a whole, but it is largely due to the work of Ken and the pharmacy employees. Ever since my wife was diagnosed with a blood disorder and later non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, we have had to make several trips to the pharmacy a week. This occurred over about a 16 month period. Ken was beyond fantastic during all of these trips, as was the additional staff at the pharmacy. They were sympathetic, friendly, and worked very quickly. If you live even remotely close to this Target, I highly recommend that you make it your pharmacy. We have both a CVS and Walgreens much closer to our home, in addition to a Wal Mart and Albertsons. Very glad we went with Target. I don't know that better service is possible. The rest of the store is clean, as are the restrooms. Since the grocery area was expanded, we've found the produce we've purchased to be crisp and fresh. Plus, it's Target. It's just WAY better than Wal Mart. Way better. Also, this Target has a Starbucks. While I'm not a huge coffee drinker, I've stopped there a few times and they are always friendly, and the line is never long. My favorite Target in the area for several reasons. 1. Maximum number of people in the store is around 30. Anytime of day. No crowds scouring the aisles for the best deals on toilet paper and Pine Sol like another major big box retailer also located on Lake Mead Parkway. 2. I just wanted to write this review to add another 'First Review' to my long list of reviews haha. This Target recently opened (hence the 'now open' sign out front). Not too many people and the lines aren't that long. Anyway, its your average Target with a good amount of what they normally carry in stock. It's clean though, if that matters. They also have those futuristic-looking shopping carts. That's pretty much it. If you're still looking for a Wii, they're chillin behind the display window at the electronics. About 2 years ago, Target opened this store on Lake Mead Pkwy, in an up-and-coming shopping center housing a wide variety of businesses (Staples, Petsmart, Hallmark Store, the now-defunct Sportsman's Warehouse, etc.) This store is not only a huge convenience, it is definitely one of the best Targets I have been in. The store is easily laid out and always clean. Their selection of merchandise easily dwarfs that of the aging K-Mart on Boulder and Racetrack. Their prices on items are solid as well. In addition to a good selection of merchandise and a fine store layout, there are some dining options as well. A Pizza Hut Express is up front, and a Starbucks Coffee right next to it. Little things like this really do impact my experience. As a new shopping center, I have no problem coming here in later hours. It's a very nice area, given its proximity to Downtown Henderson. I honestly wouldn't be uncomfortable coming here at night, they way I would be at the Wal-Mart down the road. This store will pretty much take care of all your department store needs - electronics, clothing, supplies, toys, you name it - it's all here. As far as the "traditional" department store chains go, this Target is now my preferred store. If you're a resident in the older part of Henderson, it will quickly become yours too. read more

if you dont mind terrible customer service then look no further! I work nearby so its conveniently located. The few times i have been in are awful. they let the lines build up incredibly and dont bother opening more then 4 registers at a time and when you are walking the store no one ever offers help. it once took me 15 minutes to buy floss. seriously? the customer service is so pathetic. the only reason i even bothered giving more then a one star rating is because of the people who work in electronics. the guys back there are the only friendly peple in the store. they never hesitate to offer help, ask if you are finding everything okay and even offer to ring you up right in that department. if it werent for them, i would hardly rate them one star. so terrible. read more

Great store off of Lake Mead. Great location, it's close to Big Lots, Ross, Marshalls, Ulta, and many other retail chains. I just wish this location like many others had larger trees in the parking lot for additional shading, especially here in Las Vegas. It's so hot in the summer. We come out early to shop, just to beat the heat. We enjoy the many arrays of food, product, home furnishings and more. read more

I love this Target store. Always clean, and workers are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is, when you check out they solicit you to sign up for their red card. It's so irritating to have to hear it every time you check out, and sometimes they won't take no for an answer. I also feel sorry for their employees having to ask every customer. Then if you're behind someone signing up for the red card, you'll have to wait. They really need to have a different approach to this. If you don't shop there a lot it's no big deal, but if you're a regular customer, it's irritating ! read more

I like this target a lot- it's not as high end or well maintained as the Starbucks on Green Valley Parkway BUT it's awesome that they don't get as much traffic too. Because when I need hard to find sizes/items/etc this is where I come. It's like my backup target sure it's a mess and the employees ARE NOT friendly like the target in GV (Esp Renee who was my CSR today at checkout and was the OPPOSITE of friendly) but it does have high end travel shampoos , hairspray, conditioner and better selections of small sized women's clothing and toddler clothing. So I know I'm coming here it's not going to be the experience I want, but I'm going to find the things I couldn't at my regular target. Happy shopping :) read more

Has this store had a change in management the last few months? I've gone twice the past few weeks and first encountered an older women with blonde hair. She NEVER acknowledged me or my family. She simply turned to her manager in the middle of checking me out and said "can you tell them I'm closed?!" Speaking about the people behind me that could hear her by the way. She turned back to me and still no words exchanged. In the middle of running my card she went on lunch. A nice young man finished. I've worked in customer service for 20 plus years and cant stand to see someone act so rude to the public. Isn't that what Target prides themselves on? Their service? I guess not. Today 10/3.... I checked out at 6:00 on the dot with a younger guy with bleached hair. Same exact thing! No acknowledgement didnt say one word during my entire check out. At the very end I said "Thank you!" Let me start by saying that I LOVE Target, however there is no point in ordering online for pick up at this location. I ordered and paid for a pick up to avoid waiting in the long after Christmas lines, however I was promptly directed to wait in a very long line. I would recommend that at these times of year, you open a specific register/area for online pick ups only. The whole reason to order for pick up is to AVOID THE LINES!!!
