Not the store specifically, but hung up on twice while trying to resolve an online order issue. Customer service is useless.

Very very disappointed with my visit to Target today. I am a loyal shopper but today I felt like I made a mistake of walking into their store. First and foremost I went to Guest Services to return a Keurig Coffee Maker, the young lady at the counter was patient & kind with me while helping me with my return/exchange. While shopping I found a product I wanted but was not on the shelf, I then scanned the barcode on my Target app and it said there were 2 in stock. I asked for help with the item and an associate told me someone would be with me shortly. I patiently waited, after waiting about 15 minutes I decided to ask another associate for help. This associate called for someone else to come help me out, after about 5 minutes she had returned and asked if I had been helped in which I hadn't. She was kind enough to stop the drive up order she was working on and assist me with the item I was looking for. When I went up to guest services I finished my return/exchange with my Keurig, I payed the remaining balance for the new Keurig and then took the rest of my items to self check out. As I walked to the exit three men were waiting at the door. The security then asked if I had my receipt for my merchandise while pointing at my Keurig. I was completely singled out, they were not checking anyone's receipts. This situation was completely uncalled for & embarrassing. The fact that I was the only one asked for a receipt. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere moving forward. read more

I find the people at the pharmacy very friendly and helpful. I fill 5 prescriptions monthly and have never had a problem.

My visit today at Target was awesome. four separate employees in different areas had awesome customer service I would say over and beyond. I didn't get the employees names but they did a tremendous job. Keep up the great work target and I can forget about going to Walmart read more

This target is sometimes disorganized but the baby section is great. Not sure why it's says closed? I was there yesterday.

Lines super long and 3 registers open. I am buying granola bars and a gift card, they open another lane and this jerk with a full basket cuts me off and I was next. The employee just stood there with a blank look. This is why brick and mortar is going down and Amazon is taking over. read more

I shop here a lot. Store is clean and (most) staff is friendly. MUCH BETTER THAN WALMART! Lines are usually short. Prices are good. I use my Target card for 5% off, along with store coupons, manuf coupons, and Cartwheel discounts (ends up being cheaper than Walmart!). Only real negative for me is that certain sections are always empty. For example, I often can't find the cosmetics I need because half of the section is always empty. Hubby and I visited Target today and two very different incidences happened. The first was when we asked an employee walking by if Target sold ice. She pointed back to the freezer area and said, It should be back there, but I'm not sure where. Flippantly she said, I've worked here for 17 years and have never been back there. I, flippantly, said I wouldn't say that too loud, not something to be proud of. The next incident happened while checking out. Used a card and pressed the button for 40 dollars cash back. The gal gave me serval 5's and before I could count it back to ourselves she was gone like a shot. She had given me 4 5's. My husband and I both yelled at her and after several yells she heard us and came back. The first thing out of her mouth was, Oh, I only gave you 20 dollars. We think this gal had every intention of cheating us out of 20 bucks. All she had to do was take another 20 when she returned to her stand. And these young "adults" think they should be making more than minimum wage. The two we encountered today shouldn't even be making the minimum. read more

Usually I have no problem with this target but today I went to use the self check and they had the rudest employee there her name tag said Karina she didn't know how to enter the price for a BOGO coupon and she was very rude and pushy. I had gotten frustrated with my transaction and she got my bag and threw it in my cart how rude is that?! Then I go to a check out line and they wouldn't let me do 2 separate transactions when they let me do it all the time! The cashier didn't know how to enter the coupons and I ended up telling her how to do it. They should train their employees and make sure they aren't rude! read more

The manager or assistant manager Angie was very unprofessional . I had bought three bathing suits at the store .when I got home decided to try them on I noticed that one of them was missing mind you the one that was missing was the cheapest one. I called the store and they told me to bring the receipt. they went to go look at video and they tell me that it was in the bag .then she proceeded to tell me go look in your car or in your house maybe you dropped it on the way to your car being sarcastic. I told her I wanted her district managers name and number she did not want to give it to me. I told her why would I come and tell you that I missing a bathing suit and the one I'm missing is the cheapest (19.99)one .why wouldn't I tell you I'm missing the one that was more expensive ($35.00 ). Well very disappointed in that manager Angie .she could have handled the situation better instead of accusing me of trying to rip off the store . she ended up giving me the credit back on my card but after upsetting me which obviously she didn't give a s--- about. My husband and I went to Target on 10/6/16 just walking around shopping went to the food side getting a few thing. I was looking for some enchilada sauce from Chef Rick Bayless that is really good but they didn't have any but they did have some Fajita skillet sauce I thought if it's as good as his's enchilada sauce way not try it. I was going to make it for my family at my daughters well l'm glad I didn't I was looking at the directions on how to make the Fajita's I looked at the expiration date and it said Best By 28 Aug 15 I know how important it is for checking the dates on perishables so it's telling me that the Target management team is not following up on the stockers to make sure there rotating and looking for outdated food items. What if I would have made this and we would have gotten sick I would have been so upset to say the least so please check the dates before getting it and Target needs to follow up to make sure that this doesn't happen hate to see someone getting sick for out dated food that is not rotated. read more

Generally love coming to Target but a bad experience turned me off to this location. Bought a DVD set to find out that dividers were cracked. When I tried to return it, Desiree informed me that returning an open DVD is not possible due to copyright infringement. When I asked what my options were, her face went blank. At first I felt bad for her because I knew I was putting her on the spot. That's when Cara (carmina?) stepped in and she treated me as if I was wasting her time. Both women made eyes at me while my back was turned and laughing and made me feel like a terrible inconvenience. Completely embarrassing. Finally, another employee was checking out of the same register and was able to offer some great assistance (even though she was on her lunch). I wish I had gotten her name. Great person; she was short and had an accent. When I was able to return it, I was helped by a wonderful employee named Chastity, who apologized for the previous employee's behavior. Working in customer service myself, I know exactly what the frustrations a customer can bring, but I don't think I was being out of line. All I wanted to know was if I had any other options rather than going home with a cracked DVD case. read more

Hemet Target security are racists and follow you throughout the store as if you couldn't afford their clothing which sells for under $20! I was being followed while shopping in childrens apparel. The security guard was in full uniform and didn't even make it inobvious that he was following my every move. He made me feel so uncomfortable that I had to walk away. I have shopped at Target for many years and never have I felt so disrespected and discrimated against! The supervisor and head of security could care less about the customers rights and did nothing when I complained about the treatment I had been given. I guess they feel its ok to harass a middle aged mother who is just trying to do some innocent shopping for her kids. I used to like Target, but I'll stick to Walmart!! read more

One of the most unorganized targets I have ever seen. The employees are fairly nice and helpful but they always seem to be out of many items in the store. Many times when purchasing items be careful if the boxes have been tampered with. People take out items and keep them. read more

This store is very nice and is kept well managed. We have never had a problem with returns, even if we lost the receipt. I find that there is great customer service here. They are very helpful and can do a lot for you. also, they keep everything in stock so don't stress about that! read more

Overpriced merchandise and will not price match! I've always loved Target, however after today (Saturday, November 28, 2009), I am done. We were in our local target store doing some Christmas shopping and found a camera that we knew (we had ads in hand) was on sale for $99.99 at both Best Buy AND Kmart. Target had the identical camera (Sony DSC W180) priced at $119.99. We had been in Kmart in Hemet the day before and knew they still had plenty of the cameras in stock, however hadn't yet decided that this was what we wanted to buy. Since we were there and had our ads in hand, we asked in the electronics department if they would match the price at the other two stores. They grumbled something about how they wouldn't match "Black Friday Door-Busters" which was fine since both stores had the items on sale for Friday and Saturday. We handed the ads to the associate who noted the 'while supplies last' statement in the Kmart ad and the "no rain checks" in the Best Buy ad and stated that that was a Black Friday only sale. We pointed out that ads were two-day sales, it was in fact Saturday and the sales were still in effect. We explained that we really preferred to spend our money in their store and asked again if they would match the price. We were emphatically denied so I asked to speak with a manager and I was told that I was speaking to the Managers (plural). We explained quite simply that we will be taking our business elsewhere, the woman behind the register shrugged her shoulders with what was clearly intended to be a silent 'good riddance'. We walked away from our intended purchases, drove a few miles down the road and made the purchase at Kmart. Bottom line, we were not respected by staff and they were not interested in our business. Since they aren't interested in keeping customers, I'm not interested in keeping them in business. Since I cannot think of any single product that I must have that is only sold by Target, there is no reason for me to walk through their doors again. Target has lost a lifelong customer over $20.00. The employees are nice ask if u need help an actually help if u need it. They don't always have a great selection an the area is sketchy but I drive here 20 min from my house when I have a wal mart 2 min away love target!! read more

I'm not giving Target 5 stars, I am instead giving the Starbucks in Target 5 Stars! I am in love with the wonderful women who work there. I know they are all Target employees, but they are friendly and fast. No matter how busy they are or how rude some of the customers are, they shake it off and are beyond wonderful to the next person in line! pattie was very nice and tried helping me,how ever the .Com repetitive was not helpful and just argued with me, I'm very disgusted with them ( Mike the associate and Louis his supervisor) from the 1800-0680 number. They where no help at all and basically called me a liar and I have screen shots and e mail proving what I'm saying is true about the item I wanted to buy. The star rating is for the associate at the hemet store and definitely not for the on line and .Com associates I spoke to. The item is a night stand with the dpci # 249-09-1543 it showed up as $48.00 but when I tried to purchase it the price changed to $129 ,so I called the 1-800-440-0680 so they can help me get this straighten out, so I can order it, but when I called the automated voice said it's down for maintenence please try again later, so I tried today, the supervisor (Louis) stated there system didn't go down at 9pm and the promotion I received was never sent out, so I went down to the hemet store to show them my proof that the item was on sale and I did receive the promotion and after taking to yet another rep on the phone ,they said they couldn't help me,so I left very upset and I'm no longer going to shop with them at all, I'm very disgusted with the three associates I spoke to on the phone and how I was treated. read more

I've been noticing that some items are being charged a higher price at the register compared to what is posted on the shelves. I normally don't make a fuss about it but it's happening more often now. I purchased some items yesterday that were labeled as $4.59 but upon looking at my receipt, I noticed I was charged $4.79 for each of those items. I went back to the store later to verify the price by taking a picture of the shelf with price and items in full view. I then took the item to the guest services desk where I was simply told by a girl that she would inform the manager later on. I seriously doubt anything has been done to correct the issue. The girl made no offer to refund the difference even after showing her my receipt and a picture of the pricing on the shelf. The difference paid was not a big deal but the principle of the matter is what matters. She should have at least made the offer to refund and inform a manager right on the spot. read more
