Very dissapointed to have received poor customer service yesterday in the customer service department no less. When trying to inquire if I could exchange or get help with some merchandise I had bought a few days earlier the customer service employee had a very bad attitude and kept insisting I didn't buy my merchandise there. I was quite annoyed because she was practically calling me a liar, however the store manager, Nancy was very helpful and directed me to Ricardo in electronics who also helped me with his knowlege of the games I had. When I followed up again with Nancy she assured me they had discussed with the employee how better to handle these situations in the future and was willing to accomadate me with my merchandise, if I still needed. This would have been a bad review based on an experience with the customer service employee yesterday. However because Ricardo in the electronics dept took the time to listen to my problem and Nancy the manager was very understanding and accomadating, its not. :) Word of advice, if you work in customer service dont be rude and have attitude, if a customer tells you something and you don't agree with them there are better ways to go about it. When you are not giving very good customer service you are putting off a reflection of yourself and the bad mood you are in. If you dont like your job, dont do it. You are doing a diservice to yourself and to the customers. read more

It is a typical Target store . It has a lot quick necessary merchandise. Customer service is average. It is not Blooming Berg or Nordstrom but it has your basic stuff and you get what you pay for. I have bought many stuff from this store for personal and business use. From beer, milk, batteries, chicken utensils, you name it. they got kind of a good selection all basically goods merchandise. They also kind of take care of you pretty good. They have nice smile for the most part. read more

Who doesn't love Target?! Seriously!! They have everything. Clothes, kitchen supplies, office supplies, car goods, outdoor stuff, food, movies, books, geez! They have a dollar section at the entrance and several clearance areas. I even found a stand mixer on clearance once! It was so exciting. Prices are always reasonable, especially when it's on sale or clearance. The quality of some stuff (clothes, mostly) are sometimes iffy. But for the price, who cares. The best thing about Target though, by far, is that if you are a non-profit organization and are having a fundraiser, you can request a donation and they'll give you one! Yay for Target! read more

I just got my wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday and I wanted comfy clothes to be in. So I sent my husband the pictures of what I wanted. This is my favorite Target. Very spacious, clean, and not too crowded. Lots of selection and great service. This is now the closest Target to my home, but when I was a Morgan Hill resident, I preferred coming to this Target over the one up there. This is the first time I have shopped at Target since college a couple years ago when I would shop for those plastic drawers to stick under my bed along with all the other necessary accoutrement's of a 19 year old. I went here to today with the intention of getting out as quickly as possible. I actually found it pretty peaceful inside. The lines were short. The store was well lit and organized. They had the duvet cover I wanted and the shampoo I desired. It worked out just fine. I just don't much want one in my back yard. That is why I decided to stop in Gilroy on my road trip to Monterey. San Francisco is or at least should be too cool for Target. Do we have a target? I have heard recently their has been shoplifting , however for those who arnt shoplifters, they are getting targeted, followed, and invading privacy while shopping l. I like the store itself, but the customer service is disappointing here. I had a store credit card with $8 left on it, and I was told by an employee that I could cash it out at guest services as long as it is under $9. I have done this at other Targets, and I have done this at this Target before. The employee working at guest services refused to let me cash out my card since she claimed it was against store policy, even though I was told otherwise and have done it before multiple times. She refused to listen to me and acted like I was lying.Target needs to train their employees adequately on store policies, instead of either giving customers false information or not keeping employees up to date on policies. read more

I drove to pick up a board game they were holding for me at Electronics. There was a sales associate who was helping a a request. I seen the Sales Manager Ray Delgado who was at the counter asked of he could hand me the game that was being held for me... His response was " as soon as she comes back she can give that to you"!!! The retail associates and managers are always genuinely kind and helpful. I asked them for something specific and they referred to a manager who helped me out, and was very caring since she knew it was for my classroom. This was a first for me. One of the store managers took my purse, which was child locked in the basket, I thought it had been stolen ! I ran to the parking lot to check on my car, as my remote keys were in the purse. Luckly I had my phone in my pocket. I called to inside the store to ask for someone to come out and talk to me regarding my purse getting stolen, as I needed to continue watching my car, a new 2013! I was ready to call the police. The manager informed me the purse did not get stolen it was at the front customer service desk. She had found it in a basket that was unattended so took it to the front ! I was at first grateful but also very mad about this situtation. They did not announce it on the intercom, they did not also take the cart, and I was never more than 5 feet from the cart, so I could not believe I did not see anyone take it. It of course taught me a lesson on how fast these things can happen, but I do not believe they went about it in the right way. I felt like I had been punked then wondered if they were just bored and wanted some fun. If anyone from the Target store reads this, please next time, take the cart too if you feel you need to take care of someones purse in the cart. read more

Pretty humorous and irritating. I don't know if The day I went to the store was just an off day for them but it was so terrible. We first walked up to two overflowing trash bins on either side of the front entrance. And Overflowing is an understatement. There was enough trash around the bins to easily fill another one. There were Starbucks cups falling out and some kid thought it would b cool to jump on them and let the remaining liquid just splash everywhere while his mother was texting, watching him doing it and laughing about it. Two target employees were right next to them sitting on the bench just watching. Bet if they were the employees that were on trash duty they would of said something to the boy. Walked inside and my shoes were getting stuck to the floor. It was so dirty, looked like someone just finished riding their quads through it after riding in the rain. Went to use the bathroom but they were in the process of cleaning it and I didn't want to be in the way so I just decided to try again on my way out. The store itself was missing so much product. I totally get that they have no power over big sales weekends. And the fact that it was the last weekend before school started. You could totally tell because the back to school section was completely empty. There were tons of employees walking around, right by trash on the floor, fallen product from the shelves, abandoned shopping carts and made zero effort to tidy up. Guess that wasn't their "assigned department". We continued to power shop cuz we were in a hurry and finally made it to the register. The girl was new but I swear we must have been her first customers ever. She couldn't scan the items correctly, kept ripping the bags as she removed them from the bag holding area and decided it was a good idea to put our milk on top of the loaf of bread. I didn't say anything, I felt a little bad for her because she was really struggling. The whole process took a long time because she couldn't figure out how to process the credit card as a debit because the manual machine wasn't working. My husband, never before working at target but has shopped there enough to know how to process the debit card, showed her which buttons to push and we were finally done. She said thank you and she must be having an off day because she's been there for 5 months and she just can't "get it" and giggled like a teenage girl at a Taylor swift concert. Lol. So I stop at the bathrooms because I couldn't wait till we got home in hollister and I swear that they must have just had a TP party in there. Trash cans were overfilled, floor was nasty sticky, sinks had paper towels in them, smelled like a month old port a potty, and the worst part, and I kid you not, no exaggeration at all, the first four stalls I checked were filled with poop!!! Did the sewage back up? That's what I thought. I finally find a toilet and it looked like the little boy outside brought a few of his toy Starbucks cups in and poured them all over the seat. So u know what that stuff was. Tried to change stalls, it ended up being the cleanest out of them all. Locked the door but couldn't, lock didn't work, went to grab toilet seat cover, none in the pack, so I used tp to cover the seat and hovered. Just as a lady and her two sons came in to use the baby changing table, one of her boys decided to be a peeping Tom and crawl onto the floor and under the stall to watch me. The really gross thing about it, he must have been about 10 yrs old. He just layed their starring. I said excuse me! Nothing. I said it again. Nothing. I said excuse me miss, can you ask your son to move please. She said in Spanish that she didn't understand me. So I told her in Spanish, a silent 5 second pause and then she told her son to get up in English. Lol. I was pissed at the time but it's pretty funny now that I'm typing it out. I'm done so I open the door and go to wash my hands and the boy has put paper towels in the sink and turned them all on. I go to one, take the paper out, wash my hands, go to dry them and he filled it and turned it back on. Moms on the phone and changing her at least 4 yr old boys diaper and get this, if your even still reading, an employee walks in, sees what the boy had done , looks for a clean toilet and can't find one because their all dirty and the one I was using is now the playroom for the older boy so she just goes to the sink, doesn't take the paper out, washes her hands, and leaves both the sink she used and the rest of the sinks running and leaves!!! OMG! I couldn't get out of their faster enough. And on my way out, I get stopped by security because I was practically running, I just came from the bathroom and my purse was really "bulky". I took one look at him, gave him the evil eye stare down and he stepped back and looked away. I can't give them 1 star cuz some of these events were not the stores fault. Of course I'll go back but I'll stick to our mall in hollister, "Tar jey"! Lol. read more

Pretty standard Target. The store was very clean and well organized. The bathrooms were also very clean and well stocked. We passed several employees and they were very friendly and asked if we needed help. There were several check out lanes open and they moved pretty fast. The cashier was super friendly and talked with my son about legos (since that was what we bought). The only problem was the food court. It was out of several things, so we had to go somewhere else to get our kids a drink. read more

I'm a cross county truck driver. I have shopped at hundreds of Target stores across the US. I am able to park my rig in their lot and shop for all my needs while on the road. I have ALWAYS had wonderful customer service at each and every store I've visited in many years...... until I visited the Target store in Gilroy CA. Absolutely every employee I interact with was rude or completely ignored the customers. You can tell every employee hates their job. They have a "I don't give a crap attitude". It's sad to see. I go here very often. The aisles are always clean, the selection is great, and prices are low. The employees are very helpful. They even helped us look in the parking lot when my husband lost his wallet! Larger than the target in morgan hill. It can be messy from just sheer amount of people who come through it, but tons to offer with good prices for groceries, clothes, and electronics. Nice people and definitely a regular when buying household goods like socks and sweatshirts. read more

I live within a 30 minute drive from 4 different Targets. I had previously visited the Watsonville one and the Capitola one to try to buy some outdoor patio furniture on clearance. Most items were cleared out and 70% off. I decided to go to the Gilroy store to get my grocery shopping done and to rummage through their clearance section as well. To my surprise and dismay, not only was their patio furniture not clearanced, it still rang up FULL PRICE. I was disappointed and planned on asking about it, but could not find anyone to ask. I then decided to get my groceries. I normally shop at the one in Watsonville. I was shocked again, to find that the grocery section was a third of what the Watsonville and Capitola one were. The only good note I can find is that the store was clean and there was plenty of parking. read more

This was the worst experience I have had with target. Instead of doing Black Friday shopping in the store I attempted online purchases. The first two items were received fine, once it got to the third item, all the sudden there was an issue with processing the payment. Really? It was already paid for on the day I ordered them. I spent an hour and a half on the phone and apparently their supervisors are authorized to do anything! I asked for an email so I could send proof of my bank statement, she was not authorized to give that info out! When asked how I'm suppose to provide proof then, she stated I could send a letter to corporate. Ok, well can I have your last name or employee number so that corporate knows who I spoke with? Not authorized to give that out either. I also asked her to look up the authorization number for my order, so we could compare that to my statement. Big shocker, but she doesn't have authorization to look into that. When asked to speak with someone who did, I received the answer that they were closed. Also, before speaking with Rachel, another supervisor, Brittany, had told me they would refund me the cost of the leggings within 3-5 business days. Once I questioned how she could refund something that supposedly wasn't paid for, I was transferred to Rachel. I have two items left of my order to be picked up, I was so fed up that I told her to just refund the rest of my purchases and I would write a letter to corporate for my complaints. All the sudden, she can't refund me. I'll have to wait until I lick them up at the store. Get your stories straight girls! Target online is a joke and I highly recommend doing your online shopping anywhere else! read more

It's team members like Larry and Ramon that keep me coming back to the store. Needed help with a heavy item on the shelf. Larry was the first to show up. Such a pleasant man and you could tell he takes pride in his work by the quality of his work. Great attitude! He called for help with a team lift and Ramon quickly responded. Ramon helped me all the way to the car and also had a great attitude. I'm sure I was taking him away from his duties in the store but nevertheless still was willing to help! I do a lot of business in Gilroy so I stop by Target there a lot. I have always enjoyed shopping at target. They usually have what I need. This is a good store to find most of the stuff you need. This Target is never crowded! I have never even rubbed elbows with someone...too bad you can't say that about the hell hole known as Walmart! I always get quick customer service, don't have to wait in line forever and the employees are generally very friendly. My biggest beef with this Target is LACK OF INVENTORY!! I feel that their shelves are kind of empty, I don't know if they're understaffed and need more people working stock or they don't receive shipments as frequently as they need. It seems there's aways something I can't find or they don't have enough of, especially clothing, toys, and make-up! Otherwise, this place is heaven...I could go home with everything! read more
