I had seen posts about Hazel's and finally decided to explore the store today. Note that they are open three days a week. Run as a charity with profits going to the local hospital, this is a better Goodwill and they put out the items they acquire unlike Goodwill where the best stuff is never on the floor and instead it sent to vendor. The store has a bit of everything--clothing, home goods, decorator items, books, jewelry, and more. It is the kind of store where a person needs to visit on a regular basis as the items change. Today I picked up a like new Henckel knife for .50... Bought new, it would have been 15.00. Good value for the money and it is enjoyable to brourse the store. read more

This is a lovely well kept boutique style shop. The items are displayed with care and attention, not just rows of junk thrown here and there. All items are clean and they have a great selection of items, some rare, some old, some new, but always a fun and interesting place to shop. Great staff of volunteers and the proceeds go to support the community hospital . Stop by and see if you agree. The "curated" kind of thrift store that's like shopping a good antique store, but for not-as-old and not-as-rare goods. There's a good variety of dishes and glassware, books, and a large clothing section. When we went on a Saturday morning, it was extremely tidy and not over-stuffed. Very nice staff. read more

This is a nice little thrift store that I visit when I'm in the area. Unfortunately, it seems to be VERY popular and the store is very busy. If you like to mindlessly hunt for goodies without noise, children running around, or people bumping into--this is NOT the place. I found a fabulous vintage dress that I wanted to purchase and revamp. The problem: the store only accepts cash and check. I only use my Visa debit card. So I left empty handed. The prices are reasonable, and it seemed as if you could actually haggle on the prices! The dress I wanted did not have a price tag, and when I asked about the price the lady looked the dress over, shrugged and said, "About $2.00." I overheard another lady talk a necklace down to $1.00 (from $3.50)! Overall, this is a nice store. read more

I always try to get to this store whenever it is open, especially on Saturday, since I usually am off work that day. It can get crowded since it's in a small building, and it gets crowded most on Saturdays. Parking in front can also be a challenge since it's a popular store. But just looking at the store is always fun. Every so often I'll find books I want (they have a room devoted to books), for either 50 cents or $1. It's a lot cheaper than chain thrift stores. One room has a wall dedicated to seasonal merchandise. Always worth coming to even if you don't find anything you want to buy. The volunteer staff from the hospital is always friendly and helpful. read more

This is a great place to find goodies. All volunteer run, they put in many hours a week to keep the store running. Always new things every day. I have never found the volunteers to be mean as suggested in another review and I am there all the time. Hazels Treasurers is great, newer items, some even in the box, with tags on. The money supports the local hospital and they give scholarships to local students. Keep up the good work read more

The employees are nice and I love that they organize the book section. The reason for 2 stars is because the place is very cluttered and is in dire need of some clean up. There is alot of crap just thrown on shelves and in bins, making it hard to find anything decent. Lots of useless broken gadgets and smells like oldshoes. read more

Yay, I love Hazels.. sometimes good treasures to be found but sometimes not. I like that they offer actual thrift store prices (most of the time) unlike Goodwill who seems to jack everything up now days. A bit of junk ( REAL junk) to pick through but overall a great selection to benefit the community. They will take most any donations which is great but sometimes are too full to accept. read more

THRIFT STORE ONLY OPEN Tue, Thur, Sat 9AM - 2:30PM. Volunteer run, no paid staff. They have all kinds of used things including lots of stuff that chain thrift stores (like Goodwill) will not carry: jigsaw puzzles, switchplate covers, old flower pots, magazines... One room of books, one (small) room of kids' stuff, one big room with the rest of the clothes, dishes, etc. Occasionally antiques/collectibles, and some small furniture. Prices always lower than the chain thriftstores. You can actually afford to buy clothes for your family here. They accept donations Tues thru Sat 9-2:30 but are sometimes too full to take in any more. read more

tons of books, a whole room full. that is really the only good thing they have, fair clothes, ok dishes. they actually just opened a new hazels treasures, which really pissed me off. i went, way over priced, run by mean old ladies which mean more expensive things. they had old books, that were all over $25, they were falling apart and moldy, i mean really moldy and they smelled. i felt so dirty. i left to get some hand sanitizer. read more
