Nicely organized in different rooms like kitchen ware and electronics. Really good selection of merchandise. If you're looking for antique furniture this is your place. Most prices are in line with thrift stores. Bonus- this store is located within a block the Goodwill easy walking distance. Glad that it has relocated to Watsonville.

Not what it used to be when it was located in a Santa Cruz. It's comparable to goodwill now.

Like what do they think I am going to steal, a half burned candle? Is there anything of actual value even in here? I think the purse monitor at the front door would be better utilized enforcing covid rules like proper mask wearing, social distancing, and actually making people use the directional arrows that are on the floor in every isle. Come on Watsonville, we can do better than this.

I don't normally leave reviews, but my recent experience at this Goodwill location was upsetting…read moreenough that I feel compelled to speak up. I came in hoping to shop and support a good cause, but instead I was met with blatant rudeness from an employee who made me feel completely unwelcome. From the moment I asked a simple question about an item, I was met with an attitude--eye rolls, curt responses, and general dismissiveness. It was clear they had no interest in helping or even treating me with basic respect. What's worse is how they handled a situation with another customer, raising their voice and speaking in a condescending tone. There's no excuse for treating people this way, especially in a place that's meant to serve the community. Goodwill is supposed to promote kindness and second chances, but this experience left a really bad taste in my mouth. I hope management seriously addresses customer service standards here, because no one deserves to be mistreated while shopping--especially at an organization built on goodwill PLEASE DONT COME HERE!

Just because its a thrift store does not mean that you should take it as they come. Although this…read morestore is small, it does have a lot of merchandise, I will give them a star for that. Another star that there is plenty of parking and also another star that employees were friendly. However, what I don't like is that there is no clear division of each of the articles of clothing. The women's clothing is located in the section of womens clothing. There is no signage like other thrift stores that tell you for example, which rack is women's sleeveless, short sleeves and long sleeve tops. Yes, I get it, it could be as easy as looking down the row of racks to see if the tops have sleeves but when you are in a rush and just want to check a particular section, signage like this would be helpful. For the most part, at this location most of the prices here were way overpriced. As a general rule of thumb, I think, if you can currently get the item at Dollar Tree for $1.50, it shouldn't be marked at the thrift store for $5. I think this location has the potential to be soooo much better but its quite not there yet.

Very Rude staff. Went to donate a few large bags of clothes and a worker I think his name was John…read moreQ stopped me and asked what's in the bag. I said clothes. He then proceeded to rip open the bags and say "well there are pillows and blankets in here too. These bags are all tainted...." Isn't part of the donation process for goodwill to sort the donations? So confused. Will probably not donate to goodwill after this experience.

I'm gonna give them a 4. I collect games and certain electronics, and this goodwill seems to…read moreresist the urge to list them on the Goodwill auction site which is great. I can actually come here and find these items. One thing that bothers me though. They have a knob goblin. What is a knob goblin? Glad you asked. A knob goblin is someone that goes to thrift stores to steal knobs off stereo equipment. Every single amp, every single receiver of any sort of value is missing its knobs. You can find them up on eBay, sometimes for $100's of dollars. We've had one in Almaden hitting up stores for months, Goodwills competitor down the street seems to be doing nothing about it, nor is this Goodwill. To fully stop a knob goblin, you have to catch them in the act on camera. Then show them the video. This is a powerful spell that in actuality will chain their soul to the AV receivers in the store, so the act of stealing and reselling knobs becomes stealing and selling pieces of their own soul. The knob goblin values their soul enough where they will just stop knob goblining, leaving the amps and receivers in tact. Instead they will become good goblins. Goodwill, chain the Knob Goblins soul, and I will reward you with an additional star.

My only gripe was that, although I'm very happy to see a section for books, they didn't feel like they were organized in a way that made sense and so I hope they consider organizing the books by topic at some point.

I've dropped off donations at this location countless times over the years, and this was the first time I had someone walk up to my car and offer to help me unload my donations and kindly point me to the correct bins for where to place things (electronics, household goods, clothes, bags, shoes, etc). He also asked if I wanted my bags back and if I needed a donation receipt. The last time I donated items here, there was a guy working who practically screamed at me "No hangers!" to which I responded, "Sorry, I didn't know." - I put the bag of hangers back in my car but he definitely didn't need to yell angrily. So this visit was 100 times better, thanks to Deshawn. Goodwill, I hope you acknowledge the great and kind employee he is! Friendly tip: I had fragile wine glasses, pint glasses, and ceramic mugs to donate and I wrapped each item in packaging paper and bubble wrap and placed them in an open box. I was told this was a great way to donate fragile items so they don't break. The back parking lot where the donation drop off is located can get tricky to drive in/out of if there are more than few cars back there. It's basically a small loop with about 6 spots in the center. And when people are walking back and forth from their cars and the donation bins and cars are trying to exit or pull in, it can get dicey so a little patience will help!

I think that this Goodwill location is the better of other Goodwill locations. They do have a…read moreparking lot, that is small and made smaller by the fact that on the side of the building, they have the donation drop off area. Just maneuvering your way around the parking lot when people are also trying to drop off donations can be a nightmare, especially when people get rude. If you go during peak times, avoid the parking lot and just park on the street, saves you a headache. As of lately, I have been able to find really good deals here and by that I mean that new items are priced lower by Goodwill than what it was originally marked by retailers. Yes! As it should be. Since I am big on school/office supplies, I snagged so many supplies for over 40 percent off. Although I dont like trying on clothes in stores, the fact that they removed the fitting rooms is annoying. They do have a 7 day window in which you can "exchange" clothing. Think of it as a same day use store credit. You don't have to get another article of clothing, but you can get something else with the value of the item that you are returning. I got a top, thinking it would fit nicely, but no. I went back and got another top and no, it also did not fit, now I have to go back and exchange it for something else. Annoying that this is just for one top, I cant imagine getting several pieces of clothing and going through this loop. Lesson learned, no more buying clothing. All other items besides clothing is final sale. Staff is friendly, store is neat and organized.

Let's start with Parking: terrible! And impatient people make it worse by showing irritated faces…read moreand honking! Products: it's not Goodwill value, it's almost like paying Target prices on stuff, except these are old and discarded. The check out is understaffed making the wait time long! The carts are filthy, so mask up and use a hand sanitizer. I bought two Whiskey goblets for $4. If I paid for a full set at TJMaxx, I'd have paid $10 for new ones. I almost saw a metal rack - I compared it to the one I saw at Walmart - Walmart was cheaper! Not worth a second visit!
