I stumbled upon this place and we absolutely love it! They do not hike up the prices they really do it for the community. I found a puffy jacket for 7 bucks and my sister in law found some school supplies for her kids for less than 10 bucks!! The place also helps out a vet clinics, a youth pregnancy home etc. spoke to the lady that was working sweet as pie and told us that they really are there to service the field worker community. It is always a joy to come to Cheryl's thrift store, Cheryl is so kind. Her honesty and personal desire to get to know her customers is so refreshing. It is sweet that her family helps her out in the store. The best part of shopping here is the great deals and finding unique items to buy in her store. I do appreciate all her help yesterday with the large load of purchases. I wish I could come in more often but I try when I can. My family always finds it a delight to shop here. There are not too many community thrift stores like Cheryl's Thrifty Treasures. I just have one suggestion, consider adding a few plastic or paper bags out near your bargain racks in case people find a lot of items there before coming into the store to purchase. It can be difficult to loosely carry many items from the outside area while shopping there. Anyhow, as now the occasional shopper that I am and knowing Cheryl for years, her store is truly what defines what is a community thrift store with that personal touch. Her prices are always great. I've been going to this store when it used to be around the corner .Cheryl is awesome kind down to earth hard worker great family. Very personable and warm. Leslie is one of the sweetest kindest inviting helpful compassionate giving funny quirky happy people I have ever met. She's been through so much in her life and she's just such a special unique genuine soul. I go here when I'm feeling down or upset or sad or just need to see some familiar kind faces and sit awhile , I always like to shop when I'm upset and this is the only place I ever want to go when stuff gets real . It doesn't take long to feel completely at ease . The atmosphere is upbeat and positive and literally cheerful they have awesome awesome sales frequently. They are extremely affordable and you can find A little of everything there. They bring in doughnuts alot and the store pup panda is a an adorable addition to an already perfect atmosphere . It's just a comfy down home feel. Even if I don't or can't buy anything I have to stop in just to soak in the atmosphere and take a load of. It's my favorite place to go any time or day. read more

Nice new Thrift Store in Prunedale just opened this week. Right next door to Tom's Liquor store. It's a tiny store with a limited selection of merchandise but it's clean and nicely displayed. read more

This store is ok. I wish they would lower their prices on some items a bit because the turnover would be better. I go in maybe 3-4 times a month and I see the same things over and over. I go to the store to find used items and I won't pay these high prices. Maybe their rent is high and that is the reason for the high prices? I'll still pop in and see if there's anything that interests me, but most of the times I leave without making a purchase. On a side note, the employees are very friendly and customer service-oriented. I do like that. read more

I almost always find something when I drop in here. Prices are very reasonable with a good revolving selection of books, records, cds, bar ware, glasses etc. While they also have a modest selection of clothing this is something I rarely spend time looking through in thrift stores. The shop is well kept, clean and easy to browse, unlike some shops which hoard items to the point where it's overwhelming and sometimes dangerous to look around. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Be careful in the parking lot it's a free for all. I avoided three collisions in one trip due to people driving like knuckleheads. Cherly's is worth the risk because there's always something waiting for me on those shelves. read more
