Even before the arson incident…read more(in which I lost several hundreds of dollars of my irreplaceable, consigned belongings), this business was disorganized and the payouts for my items sold were very infrequent. I would have to wait several months for a check. Since the arson, I have contacted this business multiple times to see if I might be able to get any kind of reimbursement from the owner's insurance payout and I was completely ignored. Since all the inventory which made up her business was owned by the consignors, she should have made an effort to do right by them. Please think twice before consigning with She's...there are better places to do so.

It actually has some very nice collectibles in there, but the prices are outrageous. There is ample parking in front of the store, especially on a weekday. When I walked in, I definitely got the sticker shock. They had two hand woven wicker, Mexican children's chairs. That they were asking $85 each. These may have been vintage, but they were sure beat up. And $85 seems a little bit high. They use a tiered descending pricing which decreases the price once every month until it gets down to 50%. Oddly though I didn't see any prices that were lowered on my trip today. It's a very nice store as far as the things they have in there some lovely old pieces some very nice clocks and other collectibles. The clothing is again right in the middle of the store and it makes it a little difficult to navigate for someone who uses a cane like I do. I have used the Alliance on aging myself and I know they're a good group so I do wish them every success with their store but I think the prices are still pretty high. Also, the staff could be a little more friendly when you come in, the two ladies that were working completely ignored the entire time.

Parking is street only but in San Juan Bautista that just means you'll be down a side street a block or so away. This is a straightforward shop-it's a direct line from the entrance all the way to the back wall and the consignment sections line either side. The very back is where the changing rooms (trying on clothes booths I mean) are, and it's also the consignment what has the big and tall section. Generally the clothing is of older more conservative styling, but well, it's a consignment store so the stock rotates and you never quite know what will turn up. Better then average selection of accessories, and there is a small amount of art/home decor stuff some of which is excellent. They do have a small selection of formal shoes, but really this is not a dedicated shoe store. Still some good finds upon occasion however. Great spot for vintage. Pricing is as marked buttt....sometimes if the person running the register is the consignee bargaining can sometimes can be done. Generally speaking you are looking at twenty to forty dollars an item, sometimes more sometimes a bit less. Finding a complete outfit will either be expensive or hard to do what with all the matching. Finding that one special thing that completes your look at a total bargain is much more likely. At the end of the day this is well organized lightly used women's fashion stop.

I haven't been able to visit pg as often as i'd like anymore but i will definately donate again... service was always kindness all volunteers worked here amazing humans giving of their time... so i say this thank you for all the years of service and last i was in the shop, my daughters little ballerina stand that was at the door opening still sits in the store... she is now IN college getting her PHD i miss my thrifting with her but i'll definately be in again one day... regards, Corina L.
