I wasn't a hat person until I got one of their hats. Soon after - actually the following week after the first purchase and a week after that - I ordered more! I ordered my first hat to protect my head from the sun while letting the wind blow through. I used to buy the one-size-fits-all big box store hats for gardening until it dawned on me that I should have a good hat, in my size, to wear proudly. So we shopped online and each ordered a hat. They shipped within days. When our cameras alerted us to the delivery, we actually returned home from shopping so we could open the box and wear the hats! I was really excited when I tried on the hat. It felt so comfortable - I wondered if the hat would feel like a prop but it didn't - it felt like a part of me right away. I was excited at how well it fit and looked. I wore it while we ran errands and went to dinner. I loved that I could feel the breeze and that my head stayed cool. I loved the dark color of the underside of the hat brim. I ordered a hat band that complimented the darker color and really brought the look together. That first day of wearing my hat, people gushed. It was really funny - the guy at the post office told us that his wife wants him to retire baseball caps and get "a real hat"! The car wash manager fell in love with the Steampunk hats we showed her on our phones. And the clerk at a sporting goods store recognized the hat quality immediately and said she wanted one too. All three of them jotted down the website and a sale code that we received. Even though I wear a smaller size hat, I started trying on my husband's hats to get a sense of what I liked. I fell in LOVE with the Bromley hat and ordered it. And the mesh sun hat. And I wanted another crushable Half Moon hat in leather (a special order). I like the smaller brimmed hats because they shade my eyes while giving me a tailored look. And crushable hats mean they're easy to pack, stuff in a bag, etc. These hats are meant to be used and stand up to sun, rain (except for suede), etc. The people who work here are really nice - they emailed me and were available for telephonic inquiry about a custom hat. They care about our experience and are excited that we're excited. I went from never wearing hats to wearing a hat whenever I go out. I love how I feel in the hats and how the world receives me. I honestly didn't realize I'd have a remarkable experience - just by wearing their hats!

When clients are paying premium prices, presentation matters. Whoever approved this dress code completely missed the mark. It's disappointing to see a business charging luxury prices while failing to uphold even basic professional standards. My baby sister ended up finding a dress she loved... that I myself ended up picking out because this girl not only missed the mark with my sister, but her own choices that day. Marina at Le Caprice is a lifesaver!…read more I ordered a Vivienne Westwood gown from a very popular bridal shop. When I tried it on during pickup, I knew something was off. It took 3 stylists just to hook the dress together before it could be zipped up. I had not gained any weight since ordering, and the dress felt like it had been ordered a size too small. The stylist who was helping me put on the dress kept reassuring me that the gown had a hard corset, and because it was strapless, it was meant to fit that tightly. Well before my actual wedding, I had my courthouse ceremony... I needed a lot of help to get the dress hooked on, and when it came time to drive to the courthouse, I couldn't even sit up. I had to lean the car seat all the way back in order to make it to the courthouse. The entire afternoon I was so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to drink water. After that experience, I brought my dress to Marina at Le Caprice. She took one look at my back and didn't even bother zipping me up. She assured me that my dress was too small, that it was not just in my head, and offered to remove the zipper and replace it with a corset back! I was nervous because I really loved the top part of my dress and how snatched it made my waist look, but when I received my dress it still looked just as perfect! Not only that, but I was completely comfortable in it when I was sitting and eating at my reception (: Marina was able to complete the alterations super fast at a fair price and I think the corset was elegantly executed. I highly recommend coming to Le Caprice!

My dress and veil were steamed before pick up, and I was glowing on my wedding day
