Typical Target store. A recent return went well. Items usually well stocked. The outside garbage can is chronically overflowing. I don't know how a manager or any employee does not see this and get the proper person to take care of it. I told a couple of employees about the overflowing can on Saturday, May 1, around noon. Also this same day, same time, the women's bathroom was filthy. Papers on the floor, unflushed, smelly. Why does no employee see either of these things and do something about it? read more

Y'all, I love a good lollygag day at Target, But our local Target in Georgetown has really got to figure it out. It's a small Target for a rapidly growing community. The clothes and shoes are always in disarray and just a mess. It's to the point to where you don't want to shop for clothes or shoes. The Target representatives are super friendly and always helpful so it's not a service issue It is a inventory management and store merchandise presentation issue. May need to open a second Target :) because Georgetown is just going to continue to grow and this location is far outgrown. Stopped by Target hoping to find Pokémon TCG, but unfortunately there was none left. I did manage to grab two One Piece TCG packs though, so at least the trip wasn't a total loss. It's honestly tough to catch restock days lately--the competition is intense and shelves clear fast. I purchased all that I was looking for and had no issues finding what I needed, but target has updated their policy, you are not able to use a physical gift card or merchandise card and your target card in the same purchase. I'm not sure what the reasoning is and why target decided to enforce this new policy, but it made my checkout process very difficult and very silly. I use my target debit and credit card for every target transaction. I had a physical gift card that I received as a gift and put that payment method in first and was planning to pay the remainder with my target card, but I was unable to do so. I had to do one or the other, but the gift card did not cover my full transaction so I opted to just use my target card and Save the gift card for another time. it doesn't make sense to me to not be able to combine target payment methods. read more

I went to this Target yesterday to pick up an item that I purchased online. The store was an absolute mess everywhere I looked. Items on the floor and shelves were in shambles. The service was very slow. As for prices and product, this is a traditional Target. I was able to find some things for my granddaughter and my grandson. Target items are inexpensive. However, I'd rather buy online and have it delivered than walk-through a messy, un-kept store. read more

I really like Targét (is that how we spell Tar-jay?). It is massive, clean and has a little of everything. To that point, this Super Targét isn't the supermarket size grocery store their Wally World competitors are. No deli or bakery. But they have a good spot of fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, frozen items, beverages etc. Their clothing selection is massive. The hardware area is not as large as their furniture and appliance selection. But all are tidy, well-stocked and competitively priced. It is a well executed Targét! So, why four stars? It's logistics. I and every other human buys food more than clothing. Yet there is only one entrance to the store...if you want to hike past clothes, cosmetics, gift cards, kitchen appliances, pharmaceuticals and school supplies to get your tomatoes you're good. But if you weren't up to a mile long to-and-from grocery buy you'll be at the two-entranced Wally World, HEB, Randall's, et al. read more

After spending over an hour in this store looking for clothes to wear on vacation and not finding a thing I liked, I found a cart as I was leaving the dressing room. There on the cart was exactly what I was looking for. As I was looking through to find the correct size, an employee came up behind me and said, "Could you not go through that cart? I just organized it and I am getting ready to put it out where it goes." In no way was I making a mess. I asked if it was merchandise for sale. She said "yes, but I just organized it so you can't go through it." IT WAS ON THE SALES FLOOR! I WAS APPALLED, EMBARRASSED, AND SHOCKED! THANK YOU TARGET! My first job at 16 was at Target. Within that year of employment I learned quite a few things, one being taking value in your customers. I am new to Georgetown and so far I find people in the community kind. But my experience last week at this Target made me so angry and it is a matter of terrible customer service, from employee to manager. I ran into Target last Sunday for a few things before catching my flight for work the next day. One of the last things that I couldn't find was pet supply items. Being new to this Target the aisles were not familiar to me. With the long lines I didn't want to waste anymore time going in circles decked, so I was happy to see two employees walking past. i walked in the girls direction and asked"Excuse me where is your pet supply aisle?" She hardly looked at me, smirked either her coworker friend and replied to me, "I'm off the clock". they walked away both smirking. This was not only rude but I felt embarrassed, as the store was packed and other shoppers heard her snappy sarcastic response. My daughter was with me and I wanted to set a good example and handle this the way I would want her to handle this situation. Sooo I didn't say anything rude back. I got my cart got in the long lines and once it was my turn I asked for a manager while I was paying the clerk. The manager was at the registers already and came over to me. Hardly made eye contact and kept straightening things at the check out lines while asking me what I needed. I proceeded to tell her about my experience, advising that employees should take off their mane badge if they are not on the clock and don't want to be asked a simple question. The mangers only two words back to me was, Thank you. Still not making any eye contact. Didn't ask me what the employee looked like. Didn't ask if I was able to find the pet supplies I needed didn't apologize. This just made me so much more frustrated with this store in its entirety. The last thing I said to her is, " It would've just taken a moment for her to point in the direction of pet supplies, now I will never comeback and I will tell everyone I know about my experience here Reading these reviews it's very clear that I am not the only one that's been treated this way. You'd think corporate would do some serious retraining or put some actual customer service oriented people in these position. This Target is a failure to providing good customer service. read more

I came into this location looking for urban rx skincare line and couldn't find it...the self checkout helper assisted me from his smart device and then even called for another associate to help me. They were able to find the products in no time. I just appreciate everyone being kind and helpful. They didn't make me feel like I was bothering them either. Even when I went to check out I had a virtual gift card and the associate was so helpful on showing me how to use it. read more

Last week I picked up a curbside order. Had to return to the store because they forgot my $40 box of baby wipes AND the worse part, the employee put the sanitizer bottle on top of my Stroller in the trunk. The sanitizer bottle was open and spilled all over my stroller. I asked for someone to come to my car to see the spill. They sent out the same employee with my missing box of wipes. He walked up and said "what the heck happened?" Looked at my stroller and said, "at least it's like cleaning product" took the laundry detergent bottle and sanitizer bottle back into the store and came out, said he wiped them down for me. Handed me a $15 gift card "from the manager" and sent me on my way. No manager came to my car. The kicker- the gift card had no money on it. Per 3 stars they are "ok". Wanted to share that if you see a low stock item and think that buying it online for pickup will hold it for you, it does not work that way. If you are local it is better to just zip over to the store as otherwise they apparently will sell it off the shelf even two hours after you place your online order. So be aware of that. read more

I ordered my items and do curbside and voila I get to bypass rude shoppers and germs all at the same time. The nicest employees I've ever come across! My mom and I had to quick run into the store for a few things about 2 hours before they closed. There was an issue with our checkout and for our inconvenience they discounted the items and gave us a gift card for our troubles! If your employees are gonna be that rude, they should be either taking a break or find a different job. I worked retail and service industry my whole life. I treat people kindly and with basic respect. Seems like this employee that brought out our drive up order either hates her job, or hates the entire world. I know that this woman is like this regularly, because that's been my experience with her any time, wether it's in store or drive up. I love me some Target, BUT the restrooms were disgusting!! One toilet was blown up and clogged, the next one had empty enema bottles on the floor , and not a single toilet paper roll in sight! Their tall trash can was over flown with paper towels. To top it all off I noticed about 4 employees goofing around at the Returns register right outside of the restrooms! I went to this store in December to get an 8 cup measuring cup which they showed 2 in stock. The person helping me showed it in stock but they were out. I went today to get a watch battery. I asked a clerk where they were. She said electronics. I walked to the back of the store just to have them tell me they would be in another aisle down further. I went there and was told they would be up front. I found them in the check out aisle, after a tour of the store. They were priced at 6+ dollars for two. When I scanbed them at the checkout they were over 2 dollars more. Target is just a high priced walmart and not worth the 1 star I gave them. I will not buy anything from target again.. read more

Store was well organized, and the employees were nice, but I was a little concerned of the lack of protection for the employees, and limited staff to help move customers get through the store quickly. I saw little direction to find pick-up locations. Which you would figure they would be focusing on that service and provide more parking set aside. Online the Target website displayed that this location had an item in-stock. I drove all the way out here only to be told they were out. Upon having them check inventory, I discovered one of the stores that showed they had no stock on this item actually had stock on it. This is one of the reasons why inventory accuracy is very important as retailers start to build and/or beefen up their online presences because what should've been a simple in/out trip after driving way out of the way became more driving and sitting in traffic on the way back towards Austin to pick the item up at the Round Rock location which was actually closer to me to begin with and would've saved me time on traffic both ways. read more

Over the past few years you can really see the decline in Target, the once involved and spectacular Target has fallen to the depths. The workers progressively give less help to others as time goes on. The once easy to navigate and access store has become a mad house, and with the employees they seem to become less and less helpful. I love this Target otherwise, but when I accidentally left a personal item in the store, I called the store FIFTEEN times trying to reach any department (including HUMAN RESOURCES) that would pick up the phone. All I was trying to do was reach guest services to see if anyone had turned it in. I drove back and luckily retrieved it myself, but was worried sick the whole time and could not reach anyone. This is my local Target, so I come here pretty often. Over the course of the year, an update is due and I'm downgrading my rating. The straw that broke the camel's back - the bathroom on my last visit. In my cramped stall, I noticed the female hygiene container had something coming from the bottom. Whether it had been overstuffed or if the container had a defective bottom, the sanitary bag appeared jam-packed and was busting out from the bottom of the container. Ghastly! I scurried out of that stall as fast as I could. *Shudder* The staff members have always been helpful and the store is stocked pretty well, but there have been a few occasions where I've looked for specific items to find the shelf empty. Oh well...It's a Target, I'll still always end up spending way more than I should.. read more

This has only messed me up once--I lost the credit card I used on a trip. I'm also super impressed with the quality of kids clothes...the fine print says they are guaranteed for a year and I swear they are!!! We are hard on stuff at my house and I'm super impressed.
