I have been scouring the streets searching for the lemon licorice and finally found it. Whew, they still had boxes to be put out which were blocking the selection of bags. Speaking of event bags, they have every color, theme, event, and everything else under the sun up in here. Packed store, but I can see why. I wish all Dollar Tree was this strapped. It's located in a residential home which makes for a very pleasant browsing experience. They have a pretty great selection of items. The prices vary (there are some more high-ticket antique objects here). Tuesdays are 10% off so if you're eyeing an expensive item, that's your day. I also noticed that they drop prices so if you're willing to take a risk and wait, keep checking. Restocked regularly. I came two weeks apart and saw a whole bunch of new interesting merchandise. For my fellow parents with small children: The other shop is large and has shopping carts where you can place your kids. This one does not as it's smaller and in a house. However, we were able to navigate just fine with my toddler inside a small umbrella stroller. I wore my baby in a carrier. The staff is very nice.

They basically pushed me out to focus on garage and estate sales, which hurts them. I used to get lots here every week. What a cool 'hidden find' in the Leander area!…read more It's a bit of a misnomer to call this a 'flea market', but that's a minor point to quibble over. Rather, this is a collection of rather eclectic shops selling mostly used or refurbished items. These range from vintage glass and antique furniture all the way to collectible baseball cards. Everyone I spoke to at one of the stores was friendly and sometimes willing to negotiate a price on an item. I look askance at some of the reviews which claim 'I didn't get a deal'. You have access to the internet, after all. Even on your smart phone. You should be able to find out if the vintage item you're looking for hasn't been cheaply reproduced at Hobby Lobby, Cost Plus or Michael's. The facility still seems to be in development, so a couple notes for folks who may visit close to when I did, in September 2017. 1) The parking lot is a very rough gravel one. Drive slowly and walk carefully, there are ankle-turning rocks here if you wear heels. 2) One of the vendors was having serious issues taking credit cards, so having cash on hand might be a good idea. 3) If you check in on Yelp, there's a free drink offer available at the food trailer. However, there's no food trailer yet - just a well-run inside snack bar. They were kind enough to honor the offer for me, but do them a favor and wait until they get a vendor in before trying to use the coupon. In sum, a definite place to visit if the antique hunting bug strikes!
