Worst target I've ever been too. I just moved down the street and I'm really sad about having to come here. They close the self check down early. When they are open almost all are broken. 3/5 bathrooms are not working. Not much in stock. Customer service is hit or miss. Parking is horrible. Customers seem selfish here too (again hit or miss). read more

This store is the ABSOLUTE WORST for drive up services if the order has anything to do with clothes they don't even look for the time they automatically say it is out of stock. I had to walk into the store to look for the item so when I found it actually when I found multiple items of what I ordered there were plenty so I don't understand how it was sold out. I took the item to guest services and the girl says oh it's out of stock my response was but I found it? She didn't know what to say! So she says it must have been a return and I said no it's not a return I can show you where you have a rack of them. Ridiculous customer service they should not offer a service they cannot fully fulfill. Apparently they were backed up so that's why it wasn't fulfilled which is something very unprofessional to say to a customer after you just lied. read more

Online ORDERS I will travel because the customer service is very professional. It's easier for me having a toddler who hates stores to have the staff pick the items out for me and have them ready and I already paid for them. I think this one of my favorites stores it's super organized (never really any parking near the front unless that just the times I choose to go. )The Starbucks is also fresh and there is always someone smiling ready to take your order. The lines aren't as long as they were at every other target I go too and I'm treated like a customer I really like it here read more

This store is perpetually understaffed and the sales associates don't communicate well with management. I was in line with 2 items and the sales associate on the register told me to get out of line because he was closing. Another customer and I went to the next register. Moments later we're both still in line with our few items and the sales associate hasn't closed, he's checking out other customers. I understand that stores get busy but I take exception to having my time wasted. read more

love target! always something fun and reasonably priced. and this target usually has the medium and small sizes left. yay. usually they are all gone at the other targets. read more

This Target is actually pretty chill. They usually have what you're looking for and the staff is pretty friendly. If you need help finding something they'll usually always help and with a smile on their face. You should really pay no mind to the parking lot, it'll always look full but it's not that full inside. Lines are usually not that long especially when they're about to close! Another plus is that it's usually pretty clean too! read more

This is a small but pleasant target. Womens department is lacking some, but overall it's still a nice Target. For the most part you can get in and find what you need and get out. The lines (like any other target) can get pretty hectic depending on the time of day... However, I have started going to places like this as soon as they open- that way I can actually get in and get out. :o) read more

I hate this Target! It's so ghetto and the lines are always long and to top it all off everything is always out of stock.

I've been coming to this target since forever, and I've never had a problem here. The majority of times I come for board games, or electronics and they always have what I'm looking for. They have a small Pizza Hut, and Starbucks inside! Everything is pretty much well organized. Employees are always occupied restocking, or organizing. They rarely ask guests if they need help, but that's basically in every target. read more

The store is usually always busy. I always can find what I want at this store. It's clean and organized. Parking here isn't a issue if you do not mind parking a little further from the entrance. Customer service is ok. read more

This by far is the WORST Target store I've ever been too and I shop at Target very frequently! The customer service center is terrible and the staffs are just flat out rude. They do not follow the same rules set by Target Corp and create their own rules for everything, Just horrible service overall and this is a continuous issue at this store. read more

Been coming to this target for years which is why i wont give it one star. You really have to go above and beyond to get help when you need it. Associates seem to be in hiding. I asked one associate for help and she responded with a curt "what?" Turns out the lady speaks no english. Gimme a break, why are you in customer service? I waited in line in the entertainment section to check out with a shirt and after having a full blown conversation with a customer that was ALREADY checked out, not even acknowledging me, the associate finally turns and says, "you trying to check out bruh?" Wtf?? I can tell so many stories from here but we don't have time. The lines move slow even in the new self check out lanes, like you really have to have patience. I really love target but they need to step up their customer service here. I have had people help me with things but there are a lot of bad apples that make this store look bad. read more

This review is for the Starbucks. This target is dirty and disorganized. BUT the Starbucks people are a lot of fun, friendly, and fast. By the time I finished paying I was handed my drink. And when I started a conversation the whole crew joined in with big smiles. Good times. read more

Marketing was very misleading, there was a table full of artificial Christmas trees with 4 for 15 sign in the middle of it. Chiquita was our cashier, the trees rang regular price and she was not helpful about the situation. She called over the manager Angelina (I believe that was her name) and she was RUDE. We called over the store manager Mark and he was really helpful. Angelina was still jumping into the conversation. Mark let us have the tree half off and our cashier was trying to figure out what half off $24.00 was for about 5 minutes, I showed her how much it would be on my calculator and she ignored me. Overall bad experience. Mark was the only helpful one but I will not be returning here. read more

I love Target, but this Target is the worst one I've been to, ever. Maybe it's the neighborhood (kinda ghetto), as only a few employees have been friendly to me at this location. I bought a camera there, & I had to practically beg for assistance. Same thing happened when I was looking for some batteries to another electronics device. The two young guys that were behind the camera counter did not want to lift a finger to help me, & one of them eventually lazily pointed to a rotary display that might have what I was looking for. Another time, right around the holidays, I was buying a laser pointer for a game for my dog. It seemed like there was something wrong with the entire batch that was on display. I got to my car & opened the package to see if the thing worked & it sure enough was just trash. When I went to returnn the item, the girl at the return counter was highly annoyed that I wanted to try another one before leaving the store again & wasting more of my time. I just returned it to get out of there. I also had an elderly woman at the cash register stop & give me an angry look when I handed her a bag to put my items in because I didn't want a plastic one. Customer service must be something that is not in style with businesses in the Gardena area. I don't mind driving to other cities to get a better experience. There is also a reduced selection of the cuter fashion & home items at this location. Probably becuase it's kind of ghetto & everything just gets stolen. Other Targets have way more to choose from. read more

Went there last week to return an item, the cashier in customer service was very friendly and helpful. but OMG after I finished shopping and went to check-out the cashier didn't speak to say hello, didn't tell me the total I looked at the cash register and paid her. She gave me the receipt and didn't thank me or anything. So I said in a loud voice, THANK YOU! and she just looked at me a uttered something. I thought she was a deaf mute. Worse customer service. I will never shop there again, I like Target stores but I will definetly not shop at the one in Gardena on Redondo Beach Boulevard read more

I go to this target sometimes on my lunch break. It's clean and the size of the store is really good. It's hard to find help in some of the areas in the department stores. There always stocked with items and have good quantities. read more

While my girlfriend and I frequent and love Targets this one never seems to have the staff for its registers. Countless times there haven been more than 6 people in line with one open register and self check out closed. If anyone else is in the front they're actually closing their register. That's my only issue with this Target. I hope they hire the seasonal staff to meet the read more

The guest service at this target is terrible and will not be shopping at the location ever. A Worker named Mark accused me of steal when providing proof of legitimacy, very disrespectful. read more

They never put enough staff at the checkout registers. It's not unusual to be 5 or 6 people deep. The money you save shopping here. isn't worth the extra time in line. Sucks because I like Target but too many times this is the norm at this location. read more

Dirty and the employees are shady. My 1st bad experience was when my husband and I bought a few items here. We're not sure what happened but either the straggler in the lane before us took one of our bags or the cashier kept the bag herself; either way we walked out with 5 items less and didn't realize it until we looked for a cd we had purchased when we got to the car. When we went back in to speak with the manager they said they couldn't help us because we walked out of the store and that their cameras didn't show anyone keeping or taking our missing bag. They wouldn't let us view the tape either. My 2nd bad experience was when I went back (out of convenience) to purchase some items. I paid in cash with a $20 and the cashier entered it in as a $10; basically shorting me change. When I pointed it out to her she was obviously frustrated that I mentioned anything and shoved the correct change towards my face (not my hand). I asked her to change the receipt to show that I paid with a $20 and this made her even angrier. If she were smart she'd realize that if she didn't do this her till would show up short and she'd have to be held accountable. My last gripe is that they NEVER have anything that I need. Sadly this is all Target stores these days. But I will never return to this store again. read more

Horrible place to shop. I wish I could give this shit hole negative stars. This target should be ashamed. Worse customer service, they hire a bunch of lame ass kids that don't give a shit. This target has REALLY BAD customer service!!!! I love target in general but this one just for the simple fact that some of the cashiers are soooooo rude makes me not wanna shop here. For example today I walked in happy as can be with my daughter we shopped around then when we were ready to check out I place my items down and the cashier was ringing up a customer for like 5 min because I guess the lady was applying for a target card so I'm patiently waiting but as I'm waiting i noticed shes taking her sweet as time ringing her up talking about I dont know what and then she finishes ringing her up and they're still talking like HELLO I'm here waiting do you mind ringing me up smh! Her name is Ivonne I believe I just dont understand how some people can be so inconsiderate of others because even the customer that was chit chatting with this cashier I would think she would be like ok let me hurry up and move out of the way so she can ring up the next customer NOT just stand there and completely ignore the fact that I was waiting, RIDICULOUS ! This cashier has a rude unprofessional way of speaking she shouldnt be ringing up customers read more

It's the closest one to the house, but they don't always have what I'm looking for in stock.. One thing I noticed about Target stores in general is that they do not have the same clearance items discounted at the same price. Every store is different. Frustrating when one store runs out and you go to another store just to find out that the item is a different price. read more

Place is full of rude a** people. It seems like every time I go in here someone has something to say. Recently I was in here shopping and some man made a comment about how I had a backpack on. Yes because I go to school and walked there. Or tonight some lady was talking crap because I didn't say 'excuse me' when I passed her. There are other instances like when the security guard followed me around the whole store but I won't get into it.This place is ridiculous. It's probably better to go to another Target if possible. read more

I always come to this target its clean , organized, and always find great things. Today I came simply for some goggles that I saw online for 12.99 down to 9.09. Unfortunately they didn't have the color I wanted so I grab one from a stack of 3 that said 12.99 I figured the price point is going to be the same as all Speedo merch was 30% off. I get to self check out and it comes up for 10.49 plus tax. I asked an employee there to help me, she scans it and online it says 14.99 so the price was correct, but I told her that might be what it says online but thats not what your advertising it in your store. She calls over Arthur to handle the situation he leaves for a bit then comes back *idk where he went, I was getting upset that they had me waiting there for $1.40* and then he sends a young boy Cameron to go check it. I'm not dumb I know they just went to go change the tags or change the spot there wasn't that much of a selection bc it was on clearance. Cameron comes back and says its 14.99, Arthur trys charging me the price it "says it is". I was so over it I just left because it was a waste of my time and although not honoring the price your advertising isnt illegal its just bad customer service. so i leave upset the way I was treated today by targets employees. Next time I know better and will have to start taking pictures. read more

I just came back home from Target in Gardena, it's around 9:30 pm. I have ice in a bag cooling me off. What happened, I made the mistake of ordering some items on TARGET.COM. and the second mistake I made was having the items sent to the Gardena Target. The items I ordered are there and paid for on the web site with my credit card. Why did I come home without my purchase? It simple, they would not let me have them. Why you ask? It was because TARGET.COM only had 2 of my 12 part order (all the same items, sani-wipes). They e-mailed that 2 were ready for pickup and that the other 10 were coming. TARGET.COM never took the time to tell me that the rest of my order was there, They also did not sent paperwork with the rest of my order. The manager at customer service " Aide" refused to let me have the whole order, 2 items only., I was on hold for 35 minutes with customer service who promised me help and never came back on the phone. What a joke this place is. Let me not forget to mention that another customer started yelling at me , because he was tried of hearing about my troubles with my order. Yeah thanks Target for being the worst that you can be read more

This place is terrible, I went to return something and they said it wasn't in the system even though I bought it within 90 days. I might as well have bought my stuff from a swapmeet because they were rude and humiliating and I will never go there again. The wretched snot behind the customer service counter interrupted her co-worker to butt into my conversation about their ridiculous return policy, threw an 800 number at me, and went back to slacking off and talking to her co workers. I called the 800 number and they told me I could have returned it easily, but their incompetence, unprofessionalism, and inexperience resulted in the loss of a customer and this poor review. If you MUST go to target, go to the gardena store because the rest are a lot worse. read more

YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME! My family and I frequent this Target since we live right around the corner and my daughter just told me about an experience her and my mom (her grand mother obviously in her late 60s with a slight limp) just had today 4-16-13 at around 4 pm. They went in there to get a battery for a garage door opener. So my mom and daughter are in the electronics department, they were on one side of the counter and an employee (young kid in his 20s with acne and about 5'7' with black hair, unfortunately they didn't get his name so I have to describe him with his physical features). So my mom asks the employee if they had a specific battery and he gets the battery, BUT he stays on one side of the counter and says "yes" and holding out the battery making my mom actually walk over to his side (about 10-15 feet away) to get the battery from him. I find this to be ridiculous and unacceptable! I hope management sees this and takes action! read more

They are so slow at this target. When it was time for us to pay, it seemed like the manager was the one that was working the line we were at. There were 2 other customers in line in front of us, and the transaction was taking so long that the customer in front of us decided to switch lines. We finally got to the front, and she told us to go to another line. Common courtesy if you see someone standing in your line, you tell them if you are going to be closing AND help the customers who were in your line before you walk away. Also, the aisles were full with people standing around and who were rude too. Worst target I have been to.. read more

This store has steadily gone down hill. It is, unfortunately, my nearest Target and I spend a hundred or more dollars there each month. While it seems they worked for a couple of years at it and finally took the particularly rude cashiers off the registers, now their shelves are just continually BARE. I went this last week to pick up 3 needed things in cosmetics/hair care.....the shelves were MOSTLY BARE. The whole Pantene shelf was half empty, as was another hair care line that we use, then the lipsticks were all used and messed up and no others were avail, only about 4 of them. I wanted to take a picture with my phone, as it was just comical how bare they have habitually become, but had left it in the car, darn it. This is not an unusual case here at this store either. The last time I was there 2 weeks before, same situation with make up. I keep thinking I must be showing up right before a shipment is due.....noooo. This is now the norm for them....just like Walmart. My friends and I have stopped going to Walmart, it's just not worth the suck of time to run in and have NOTHING available. Now Target? So saaaad. I heard from one of the employees, unofficially, that this Gardena store is cutting a lot of hours for their employees, that would explain it at least. Anyway, a waste of time if you positively need something, go farther to the next Target and hope they have hours to give their employees to stock the frickin' shelves. read more
